Abstrak :
Persediaan suatu komponen pada gudang dalam suatu perusahaan yang menangani transportasi sangat diperlukan. Hal tersebut mengharuskan perusahaan melakukan suatu metode pengotrolan dalam segala bidang agar dapat memenuhi setiap terjadi penggantian komponen. Salah satu cara yang harus ditempuh adalah dengan mengoptimalkan sistem persediaan komponen. Metode yang sesuai untuk system persediaan spare parts pada penelitian ini menggunakan fixed time period with safety stock. Dari hasil pengalahan data menggunakan metode tersebut terbukti dapat menurunkan tingkat persediaan ke titik yang optimal yang berdampak ke penurunan inventory cost. Total saving cost yang diperoleh dari 12 periode penelitian adalah sebesar Rp 96.035.916,00. ......It is so needed the stock of the components in the warehouse in a transportation company. The company requires to applying a specific control method in all areas in order to comply every replacement of components. One of the methods is optimizing the supply system components. In this study, the compatible method for the system of spare parts stock is using a determined time period with safety stock. Based on the data of the research, this method effectively reduces the stock level to the optimum point that impacts to the decrease of the stock cost. In 12 periods of study, the obtained total saving costs are Rp 96.035.916,00.
