Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis isi kuantitatif. Masalah penelitian adalah adanya perbedaan karakteristik gaya retorika dalam transkripsi pidato Presiden SBY. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk membandingkan retorika pada masing-masing agenda pidato Presiden SBY yang dilihat berdasarkan pesan politik dalam transkripsi pidato. Data yang digunakan adalah transkripsi pidato Presiden SBY periode 2010 hingga periode 2013. Analisis isi kuantitatif digunakan untuk mengetahui isi yang tersurat pada transkripsi pidato sehingga bisa disimpulkan secara rinci. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya perbedaan gaya retorika pada agenda pidato Presiden SBY yang dilihat melalui pesan politik pada transkripsi pidato.

ABSTRACT
This study used quantitative content analysis. The research problem is the difference in the characteristic style of rhetoric in the transcription of the President's speech. The purpose of this study was to compare the rhetoric on each agenda of the President's speech is seen by the political message in the transcription of speech. The data used is the transcription of the President's speech the period from 2010 to 2013. Quantitative content analysis is used to determine the contents of which express the transcription of speech that can be summed up in detail. The results showed differences in rhetorical style on the agenda of the President's speech is viewed through a political message in the speech transcription.
