Skripsi ini berisi tentang pandangan Fyodor Dostoyevsky terhadap sosialisme utopis dalam novel Записки из подполья/Zapiski iz podpol’ja/Catatan dari Bawah Tanah yang diungkapkan melalui tokoh utama di dalamnya. Analisis dalam penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan bahwa di dalam novel ini dibahas mengenai nilai-nilai sosialisme utopis. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif-analitis dan didukung oleh teori penokohan, serta sosiologi sastra. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terbukti bahwa dalam novel terdapat kritik mengenai ide-ide sosialisme utopis, seperti ketidaksetujuan terhadap pengekangan keinginan manusia. ...... This thesis contains the views of Fyodor Dostoevsky towards the utopian socialism in the novel Записки из подполья/Zapiski iz podpol'ja/Notes from the Underground which is expressed through the main character in it. The analysis in this study aims to prove that in this novel are discussed regarding the values of utopian socialism. The method used in this research is descriptive-analytical, and supported by the theory of characterizations, as well as the sociology of literature. Based on analysis result, it is evident that in the novel there are criticisms regarding the ideas of utopian socialism, such as disapproval towards the restraint of human desire.
