We can see the Heimat construction on the diaspora through the documentary Yes, I Am, which raises the story of the cultural conflicts experienced by three German Afro musicians while living in Germany and how German Reunification brought them together to unite against the discrimination of skin color and race that still occurs in Germany . This film is very interesting because there are songs by the three musicians who visualize their life stories. The construction of Heimat's meaning in the film will be analyzed based on several scenes and one song in the film using Stuart Hall's circuit of culture theory of representation and identity."
