"Pada penelitian ini, penulis menganalisis dua lagu Jerman, yaitu “Vincent” oleh Sarah Connor dan “Queere Tiere” oleh Sookee. Kedua lagu ini dipilih karena dianggap sebagai platform untuk merepresentasikan komunitas homoseksual, yang dapat dibuktikan dari performativitas gender pada kedua lirik lagu. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menggunakan metode analisis deskriptif untuk menganalisis makna kedua lirik lagu. Selain itu, penulis menggunakan Queer theory oleh Judith Butler (1990), didukung dengan konsep gender performativity untuk menjabarkan performativitas gender yang ditampilkan pada kedua lirik lagu tersebut dan menunjukan bagaimana performativitas pada kedua lagu tersebut dapat dikatakan sebagai performativitas homoseksual. Dari penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kedua lagu tersebut menunjukkan adanya gender performativity dan performativitas yang ditampilkan pada kedua lirik tersebut membentuk identitas gender seorang homoseksual.

In this research, writers analyzed two German songs "Vincent" by Sarah Connor and "Queere Tiere" by Sookee. These two songs were chosen because they are considered as platforms to represent the homosexual community, which can be proven from the gender performativity in both song lyrics. In this research, the author uses descriptive analysis method to analyze the meaning of both song lyrics. In addition, writers use Queer theory by Judith Butler (1990), supported by the concept of gender performativity to describe the gender performativity displayed in both song lyrics and show how the performativity in both songs can be said to be homosexual performativity. From this research, it can be concluded that both songs show the existence of gender performativity and the performativity displayed in both lyrics forms the gender identity of a homosexual."
