[ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat perbedaan externalizing behavior antara remaja yang ditinggalkan oleh orangtuanya sebagai TKI yang diasuh oleh orangtua yang tinggal di Indonesia dan yang diasuh oleh keluarga besar, dan antara remaja laki-laki dan perempuan. Dalam penelitian ini, 171 partisipan yang merupakan siswa SMP di Karawang dan ditinggal oleh salah satu atau kedua orangtuanya untuk bekerja di luar negeri mengisi alat ukur SDQ. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak ada perbedaan externalizing behavior yang signifikan antara remaja yang diasuh oleh orangtua yang tinggal di rumah dan keluarga besar. Externalizing behavior remaja laki-laki dengan remaja perempuan juga tidak berbeda secara signifikan.

ABSTRACT ;The study was conducted to investigate the differences of externalizing behavior between children left behind that were raised by single parent and extended family, and between boy and girl. A total of 171 participants, who were students at junior high school at Karawang that were left behind by one or both of their parents to become a migrant, completed the SDQ.
