Persalinan preterm merupakan kejadian yang disebabkan oleh multifaktorial salah satunya adalah infeksi pada ibu. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui prevalensi persalinan preterm di RSCM pada tahun 2011, untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat perbedaan kejadian persalinan preterm dengan ibu positif ISK dan ibu negatif ISK, serta mengetahui korelasi persalinan preterm dengan ISK pada ibu. Metode penelitian cross-sectional pada 2005 sampel. Data yang diambil berupa data sekunder. Kemudian data diolah menggunakan spss 11.5 for windows dan dianalisis dengan uji chi square untuk uji perbedaan. Hasil penelitian didapat Prevalensi persalinan preterm di RSCM tahun 2011 adalah sebesar 27%. Tidak ada perbedaan bermakna kejadian persalinan preterm antara ibu positif ISK dengan ibu negatif ISK di RSCM pada tahun 2011 (P>0,05).

ABSTRACT
Preterm labor is an incident caused by a multifactorial one of which is an infection in the mother. This study was conducted to determine the prevalence of preterm delivery in RSCM in 2011, to determine whether there are differences of preterm labor in positive UTI’s mother and negative UTI’s mother, to determine the correlation of preterm labor with maternal UTI . Methods Cross-sectional study in 2005 samples. Data taken the form of secondary data. Then the data is processed using the SPSS 11.5 for Windows and analyzed by chi-square test for testing the differences. Research results obtained prevalence of preterm birth in the RSCM in 2011 amounted to 27%. There is no significant difference of preterm delivery between positive UTI’s mother and negative UTI’s mother in RSCM in 2011 (P> 0.05). And the results showed no significant correlation between preterm labor and maternal UTI in the RSCM in 2011
