Abstrak :
Nifedipin merupakan obat yang sudah umum digunakan dalam pengobatan hipertensi dan angina. Obat ini memiliki waktu paruh hanya 2-4 jam dan bioavibilitasnya yang rendah, sehingga perlu diberikan dengan dosis yang bertahap agar efektif. Dosis semacam ini merupakan dosis yang tidak menyenangkan bagi pasien dan besar potensi pelanggaran dosis. Maka dari itu, perlu dilakukan suatu pendekatan sistem penghantaran obat dengan pelepasan kontinyu. Salah satu pendekatan ini yaitu penggunaan polipaduan biodegradable poli(D-asam laktat) dan polikaprolakton dalam mikroenkapsulasi obat Nifedipin. Pada penelitian ini dilakukan pembuatan mikrokapsul dengan metode penguapan pelarut dan penggunaan Span 80 sebagai surfaktan dan didapatkan hasil enkapsulasi paling baik berada pada komposisi PCL:PDLA 8:2 (%w/w) dengan besar enkapsulasi 84,33±1,58% dan Profil pelepasan obat terbaik pada komposisi 7:2 (%w/w) dengan Nifedipin yang lepas sebesar 10,743 mg (44,029%).

Nifedipine is a drug that is commonly used in the treatment of hypertension and angina. This drug has a half-life of only 2-4 hours and has a low bioavibility, so it needs to be given in a gradual dose to be effective. This dosage is an unpleasant dose for the patient and a large potential for dose violations. Therefore, it is necessary to do a drug delivery system approach with continuous release. One of these approaches is the use of polyblend biodegradable poly (D-lactic acid) and polycaprolactone in the microencapsulation of the drug Nifedipine. In this experiment, the making of microcapsules using solvent evaporation method and the use of Span 80 as surfactant and obtained the best encapsulation results in the composition of PCL: PDLA 8: 2 (% w/w) with percentage of encapsulation 84,33 ± 1,58% and Profile the best drug release in the composition of 7: 2 (% w/w) with release of nifedipine by 10.743 mg (44.029%).
