"ABSTRAKTulisan ilmiah ini mengkaji tentang bagaimana sebuah partai sebesar Golkar dalam mengkemas salah satu agenda rutin mereka menjadi sebuah pemberitaan yang dapat menyamarkan pemberitaan negatif mengenai konflik dalam internal parpol tersebut. Political News Management merupakan sebuah pendekatan bagi para politisi di Indonesia yang di dalam tindakannya selalu memikirkan pers agar mau meliput kegiatannya. Media mempunyai sejumlah pertimbangan dan aturan sendiri dalam meliput suatu peristiwa politik. Golkar merupakan salah satu partai besar yang cukup banyak mengimplementasikan konsep Politik Media untuk mengolah pemberitaan oleh media massa ditengah dinamika perkembangan partai Golkar yang di dalam nya muncul krisis perselisihan yang memecahkan internal Golkar menjadi dua kubu. Pemberitaan konflik perseteruan tidak lantas menyebabkan Golkar keilangan eksistensi nya di hadapan publik. Hal tersebut dapat terjadi karena pihak Golkar dapat menyiasati dengan mengcounter pemberitaan melalui momentum perayaan Hari Ulang Tahun Golkar. Momentum tersebut dimanfaatkan Golkar dengan menyisipkan pemberitaan mengenai informasi pelurusan berupa ketetapan MA dalam memutuskan ketua umum Golkar yang sah. Sehingga secara tidak langsung isu mengenai konflik antara Aburizal Bakrie dengan Agung Laksono dalam memperebutkan jabatan ketua umum partai Golkar dapat tersamarkan dan tidak terlalu terekspose oleh publik.

This scientific paper examines how Golkar in packing the agenda of their routine becomes a proclamation that can disguise the negative news about the internal conflict within the political parties. Political News Management is an approach for politicians in Indonesia were in action is always thinking of the press to want to cover their activities. Media has a number of considerations and its own rules in covering a political event. Golkar was one big enough to implement the concept of Political Media reporting process by the middle of the dynamic development of the mass media Golkar emerged in its internal crisis to solve disputes Golkar into two camps. Preaching enmity conflict does not necessarily lead to Golkar lost its existence in public. This can occur because Golkar can get around to counter the momentum of the news through the celebration of the anniversary of Golkar. Momentum is utilized Golkar to insert news about the alignment of information in the form of provision MA in deciding general chairman of Golkar legitimate. Thus indirectly the issue of conflict between Bakrie with Laksono in the post of chairman of the Golkar can be masked and not too exposed to the public."
