"Sejak saat pertama kali ditemukan sampai sekarang, kaca sudah mengalami kemajuan yang pesat. Kaca tidak lagi hanya berfungsi untuk hiasan, tetapi menjadi sebuah benda yang memiliki fungsi sendiri, seperti pot dan vas. Perkembangan kaca menjadi sangat cepat sejak ditemukan cara-cara baru dalam membuatnya. Dengan menambahkan unsur-unsur kimia tertentu, kaca bias memiliki sifat sesuai dengan kebutuhannya. Kaca tidak hanya menjadi lebih variatif, melainkan juga menjadi lebih kuat dan solid.
Dengan perkembangan tersebut, kaca mulai digunakan sebagai elemen pengisi bangunan, seperti dinding kaca. Tangga kaca dan lantai kaca juga mulai dipakai pada zaman sekarang, walaupun anggapan masyarakat mengenai kaca masih tidak berubah. Kaca masih dianggap sebuah material yang getas dan mudah pecah.
Dengan perkembangan teknologi, kaca bisa menjadi material yang cukup kuat untuk menjadi struktur dalam bangunan, dengan tetap mempertahankan sifat-sifat estetika kaca tersebut.

Since glass discovered, it already has a very fast development progress. Glass is not used just for decoration, but it became the subject itself, such as pot or vase. The development of glass goes more advance since the new way of producing glass were invented. By adding a certain chemicals, the characteristics of glass can be changed. It will become more varies, solid, and even stronger.
By that reason, glass nowadays is used in a building as walls, floors, and stairs. Even so, people?s opinion about glass is still the same. It still has the image as a very weak material, easy to break and crush.
With advance technology, glass can be strong enough to be used as structures, while it still has the aesthetic characteristics.

"Telah lama daur ulang digembar gemborkan sebagai cara efektif untuk melestarikan lingkungan, yaitu dengan mereproduksi material-material yang tidak bias diurai oleh alam dan mempergunakannya kembali. Dalam dunia arsitektur, penggunaan material daur ulang juga semakin diperkenalkan. Akan tetapi, banyak yang beranggapan kualitas material daur ulang kalah dengan material konvensional, selain itu daya tahannyapun jauh berkurang. Ada pula pendapat mengenai penampilan yang kurang indah.
Saya melihat sebuah kecenderungan yang ingin saya gali lebih dalam, yaitu mengenai eksplorasi material bekas untuk arsitektur. Cara ini menurut saya lebih realistis dari sudut pelestarian lingkungan, karena menggunakan barang bekas tidak memerlukan energi untuk mendaur ulangnya. Saya ingin mengeksplorasi penggunaan material bekas untuk arsitektur yang baik dalam arti bisa menghasilkan penampilan yang diinginkan dan sanggup berdiri. Saya berharap bisa mengurangi keengganan masyarakat untuk mengeksplorasi potensi material bekas dalam arsitektur. Efek jangka pendek dari penggunaan material bekas mungkin bisa menghemat biaya pembangunan. Untuk efek jangka panjang dan berkelanjutan, mungkin kecenderungan ini dapat membantu program pelestarian lingkungan yang hemat energi.

For a long time, recycling has been shouted out loudly as the effective way to preserve nature, by re-producing waste materials that cannot be demolished by nature and using them again for the second time. In architecture world, usage of recycled materials has also been brought in further. But, many people are still thinking that recycled materials lose in quality compared to the new and conventional ones. The durability is also far less. There are also opinions about lacks of beauty in appearance.
I saw a behavior which I want to explore deeper, I mention it as the exploration of dumped materials in architecture. This way, in my opinion, is more realistic when seen through the eye of nature, because using used things don?t require energy to recycle any of it. I want to explore the usage of dumped materials for architecture in good way which means able to carry out destined appearance and can withstand itself as a building. I?m hoping in a way to reduce people?s skepticism in exploring the potential of dumped materials in architecture. The short term effect of using dumped materials may lead to building cost efficiency, when in long and sustaining term may lead to an environment preserve program which requires less energy to perform."

"Agricultural material piracy as an illegal and imperialistic act may cause negative impacts such as: (a) violation on a country's sovereignty, (b) negatively affects the economics of local communities, and (c) decrease or even destroy particular species or plant varieties. Such a piracy may be prevented by developing related laws and rules as well as enforcement policy. In a center-periphery relation, the primary problem of Indonesian scientific community lies on weak discursive power and lobbying capability. Furthermore, Indonesia's position on socio-politics, economy and technology is also weak. Some alternatives to prevent biological piracy are developing related laws and rules, applying affirmative policy and social campaign on related action program."

"ABSTRAK
Genome Sequence Analysis for genetic datasets by using ORF (Open Reading Frames) techniques is an interesting area of research for bioinformatics researchers nowadays. There is a strong research focus on comparative analysis between genetic behaviors and diversity of different species. Contrary to whole genome sequence analysis, scientists are now trying to concentrate specifically on layered analysis to get a better insight of relevancy among genetic datasets. This phenomenon will help to better understand species. An ORF statistical analysis for genetic data-sets of species Chimera Monstrosa and Poly Odontidae is presented. For completion of this analysis, we use a hybrid approach that combines a generic mechanism for statistical analysis with specific approach designed for out performance. At first instance, genetic datasets are refined for better usage at next level. These sets are then passed through layers of filters that perform DNA to Protein translation. Statistical comparison is performed during this translation. This layered architecture helps in better understanding of the degree of similarity and differences in genomic sequences. "
