"ABSTRAK
Melalui pendekatan fungsi dan estetika antara manusia dengan arsitektur,
desain mengalami proses perkembangannya di bidang pengetahuan arsitektur
terhadap ruang interior. Penelitian berbasis desain pun menjadi peluang sebagai
media yang dapat mempelajari pendekatan tersebut. Sistem yang dapat bekerja
pada suatu interioritas pun menjadi kunci utama penelitian ini. Bagaimana
interioritas dapat menjawab penelitian mengenai metode baru dalam mendesain
yang bergerak pada fungsi dan estetika ruang interior?
Penelitian ini diawali dengan mempelajari seputar fungsi seni kolase
terhadap sistemnya dalam merepresentasikan suatu ruang arsitektur interior.
Kolase dalam kaidahnya memiliki ruang-ruang tersembunyi dibalik lapisan objek
yang menjadi fokus utama teknik representasi ruang tersebut. Teka-teki mengenai
keberadaan ruang tersembunyi ini kemudian dapat menghasilkan seribu satu
kemungkinan cerita yang tersampaikan melalui pengalaman manusia dalam
fungsi. Dengan penelusuran lebih lanjut, kelak seribu satu kemungkinan cerita
tersebut menjadi suatu sistem yang perlu ditelusuri dengan mempertahankan
unsur fungsi dan estetika terhadap interioritas.
Image seribu satu kemungkinan cerita yang terkandung dan
bercengkerama dalam interioritas sebuah ruang dapat menjadi sistem yang disebut
sebagai mesin. Mesin tersebut adalah sistem yang dapat bekerja di antara persepsi
manusia dan pengalamannya akan ruang secara berkelanjutan. Ruang sebuah
pasar di daerah Santa pun dimanfaatkan sebagai tapak pengembangan mesin
tersebut, dengan alasan peluang image tapak yang dimiliki serta ruang yang berpotensi dapat mewadahi seribu satu cerita. Dialog antara sistem seribu satu
cerita mengenai fungsi dan estetika ini dapat disebut sebagai Living Machine yang
kelak dapat menjawab keberadaan dialog tersebut sebagai suatu interioritas.

ABSTRACT
Through the function and aesthetic approach of the relationship between
man and architecture, design has been through the development in the cognition
of architecture towards interior. Design based study became the opportunity as the
new media that can answer the study approach. The system that is able for
working throughout the interiority is the keyword of the study. How can
interiority answer the new method of design study about function and aesthetic of
an interior space?
The study begins by learning the main function of a collage art and its role
in representing an interior architecture space. Collage art in its own rule has got
some unfound space between its layers as the main focus of the space
representation technique. Puzzles of the existence of the unfound space then
collect a thousand and one probability of stories that were represented through the
human responds by each of their experience as the function of the interior space.
Thus by the further research, a thousand and one stories themselves could create
their own system that should be followed with the function and aesthetic of the
interiority.
The image that is brought by one thousand and one probability of stories
that contained and theatrically involved each other inside the interiority is called
as machine. The machine is a system that works between human perception and
its following experience of space sustainably. The existence of a traditional
market in Santa is chosen to be the site for further development of the machine.

"Kacang koro sangat potensial sebagai pendukung ketahanan pangan dan diversifikasi pangan. Permasalahan dalam upaya diversifikasi olahan koro adalah pada proses pengupasan biji koro yang masih menggunakan cara manual sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang cukup lama. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah merancang bangun prototipe mesin penyosoh kacang koro sehingga kacang koro dapat disosoh lebih cepat daripada menggunakan cara manual dan dapat lebih efisien dalam proses produksinya. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mesin penyosoh yang dibuat dapat berfungsi dan bekerja dengan baik tanpa ada kerusakan selama pengujian. Mesin penyosoh kacang koro yang dibuat memiliki dimensi P= 45 cm, L= 40 cm, T= 80 cm. Kapasitas Prototipe Mesin Penyosoh adalah 218,25kg/jam dengan menggunakan pulley poros putaran penyosoh 6 inchi dan 185,17 kg/jam menggunakan pulley poros putaran penyosoh 12 inchi. Sedangkan proses pengupasan secara manual menggunakan tangan diperoleh 7,30 kg/jam. Kacang Koro utuh tersosoh rata-rata 33% dari bobot sampel kacang koro yang disosoh dengan menggunakan pulley 6 inchi dan 49% dengan menggunakan 12 inchi. rendemen sosoh prototipe mesin penyosoh rata-rata dengan menggunaan pulley poros penyosoh 6 inchi diperoleh 68,37% dan 72,67% dengan menggunakan pulley poros penyosoh 12 inchi % pada proses penyosohan kacang koro.

Koro (Canavalia ensiformis) is very potential to support food security and diversification. The problem in diversification of processed Koro is in the process of stripping koro seeds that still use manual way so it takes a long time. The purpose of this research is to design a prototype polished machine so that koro can be polished faster than using the manual method and it can be more efficient in their production process. Result of the research showed that as a functional and sructural design it is can be operate with dimensions are length 45 cm, width 40 cm, high 80 cm. Prototype capacity of the machine is 218.25kg/h by using a 6 inches pulley shaft rotation of polishing and 185.17 kg / h using a 12 inches pulley shaft rotation of polishing. Comparing to manual stripping process using hand only gained 7.30 kg / hour. The average of polished koro is 33% of the weight of koro sample which polished by using a 6 inches pulley and 49% by using 12 inches. The average of the polish rendement of Prototype polishing machine with 6 inches pulley shaft gained 68.37% and 72.67% by using a 12 inches% pulley shaft in the polishing koro."

"ABSTRAK
Pengurutan merupakan proses penting yang banyak
digunakan untuk membantu pembuatan laporan sehingga
diperoleh data urut dan mudah dibaca, disamping itu juga
digunakan sebagai sarana (tools) untuk eksekusi algoritme
yang lebih kompleks.
Kebutuhan pengolahan data dan informasi yang lebih
cepat semakin dirasakan perlu. Penggunaan prosesor cepat
pun kadang-kadang masih belum cukup. Untuk memenuhi
kebutuhan tersebut, implementasi pada komputer paralel
dilakukan.
Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji implementasi
pengurutan eksternal paralel pada jaringan komputer
dengan sarana perangkat lunak PVM (Parallel Virtual
Machine). Keuntungan implementasi pada PVM adalah tidak
perlu mengadakan perangkat keras paralel, karena PVM
mampu memanfaatkan jaringan komputer heterogen yang sudah
ada sebagai suatu sistem komputer paralel. Jaringan
komputer yang dipakai terdiri dari lima stasiun kerja SUN
SPARC Station 1+ yang dihubungkan melalui protokol TCP/IP
Ethernet dengan topologi jaringan bus.
Lambatnya message passing pada jaringan komputer yang
dipakai berhasil dikurangi pengaruhnya dengan mengatur
ukuran paket yang dikirim. Keserialan jalur I/O diatasi
dengan menghubungkan tiap prosesor dengan satu cakramnya
sendiri, sehingga akses bersama terhadap satu cakram
dikurang i. Dengan perbaikan tersebut, speedup maksimum
yang diperoleh dengan konfigurasi lima prosesor dan
variasi data antara 5000 sampai dengan 25000 rekor adalah
3,6 dan efisiensinya 71,12 %. Data yang digunakan
berstruktur rekor, yang terdiri dari tiga field alpha
numerik dengan panjang 50 bytes/rekor.
