"Gifted visual-spatial laearners is one of categories of gifted children that has been ovelooked and under diagnosed. Linda Kreger Silverman (1995;2002) defined Gifted Visual spatial learner as those highly intelligence children (gifted) with special developmental pattern and characteristics. Their strenghts are the visual - spatial ability and gestalt cognitive style. They learn better visually that auditory. They learn all-at-once, and when they got the concept, the learning is permanent. Gifted children with visual-spatial learning style often have asynchronous developmental pattern and tend to have speech and language expressive disorder, or more commonly known as a specific Language Impairment (SLI) or Pure Dysphasic Development. These unique developmental characteristic often cause problems generally worsen without proper assistance and strategies of intervention. They also often misdiagnosed under the label of high function autism, ADHD and / or learning disabilities. A collaborative diagnostic with a long term continual observation and special approach is needed to help this population."

"ABSTRACT
Literary texts were no longer used in foreign-language classroom settings, once the grammar-translation method was excluded through other foreign-language teaching methods. These texts recovered significance several decades later in more advanced forms through communicative-language teaching methods. There are positive and negative aspects to using authentic literary text in the second language classroom context, but many language learners find associated benefits. Among the numerous positive aspects, the most important is that literature is authentic text. The use of it helps students gain important linguistic, cultural and personal insight into the language to learn."

"Tesis ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program SDLMI dalam meningkatkan keterampilan pemecahan masalah sosial pada slow-learner. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain subyek tunggal dan efektivitas program diukur dengan membandingkan kondisi sebelum (pretest) dan setelah intervensi diberikan (posttest). Pada penelitian ini, subyek tidak hanya menunjukkan adanya peningkatan keterampilan pemecahan masalah sosial, tetapi juga dapat mempertahankan keterampilan tersebut seminggu setelah diberikan instruksi pemecahan masalah. Edukasi mengenai SDLMI perlu diberikan kepada orangtua dan guru yang menghadapi siswa berkebutuhan khusus atau siswa dengan karakteristik seperti slowlearners.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the efectiveness of SDLMI in increasing social problem solving skills for slow-learner. This research used single subject design and program effectiveness was measured by comparing pretest and posttest data. Research's result not only suggested an improvement but also maintenance in partisipant's problem-solving skill, one week after problem solving instruction was given. Furthermore, educations about SDLMI need to be given for parents and teacher who struggle with special-need or slow-learner student."

"Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk membuktikan apakah pemberian intervensi individual berupa aktivitas motivasional dan strategi membaca BaTaRang Baca, Tanya, Rangkum dapat meningkatkan motivasi membaca dan kemampuan pemahaman bacaan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian dengan desain subjek tunggal pada siswa SMP dengan slow learner. Program diberikan selama 10 pertemuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan motivasi membaca dan kemampuan pemahaman bacaan pada subjek setelah program diberikan.

The objective of this research is to examine whether individual intervention which consist of motivational activity and RAP Read, Ask, Put reading strategy can increase reading motivation and reading comprehension. This research is conducted using single subject design on middle school student with slow learner. The program was administered for 10 meetings and the result of this research show that by providing motivational activity and RAP reading strategy can increase the subject rsquo s reading motivation and reading comprehension."

"ABSTRAK
Pesatnya pertumbuhan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi (TIK) memungkinkan dan meningkatkan variasi dalam teknologi pembelajaran. Pembelajaran daring (e-learning) berkembang menjadi terminologi umum yang berlaku untuk pembelajaran termediasi teknologi baik yang berjenis formal maupun informal. Hal ini mengakibatkan munculnya komunitas pembelajaran virtual, sebagai salah satu varian pembelajaran daring informal. Dengan memanfaatkan metode campuran, desain konvergen, dan varian basis data paralel, penelitian ini berupaya mengeksplorasi dan menganalisis pengalaman pelajar daring di Indonesia dalam komunitas pembelajaran virtual, yaitu Komunitas Guru Belajar (KGB). Dalam penelitian ini, data kualitatif dan kuantitatif dikumpulkan dari melalui survei daring terhadap 365 responden dan wawancara semi terstruktur dengan sembilan orang informan. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis faktor untuk dataset kuantitatif dan analisis tematik untuk dataset kualitatif. Dalam fase interpretasi, data digabungkan dan dianalisis menghadirkan pengukuran yang lebih baik terhadap konsep dan pemahaman yang lebih baik terhadap konteks penelitian. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengalaman pelajar dalam aktivitas pembelajaran daring di KGB cenderung positif. Hasil tersebut terkonfirmasi melalui kedua analisis dataset. Secara kuantitatif, 30 dari 32 indikator pengukur pengalaman pelajar terbukti memiliki skor tinggi, yakni di atas 5. Analisis faktor menunjukkan bahwa indikator yang digunakan dapat merepresentasikan sebesar 60% dari total variasi. Secara kualitatif, pengalaman pelajar dianggap menyenangkan, berkualitas baik, bermanfaat, efisien, interaktif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Terdapat empat faktor yang berkontribusi terhadap hasil penelitian ini. Keempat faktor tersebut adalah faktor teknologi, faktor diri pembelajar, faktor sosial, dan faktor program pembalajaran. Di samping temuan terkait learner experience, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa media sosial potensial dioptimalkan untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan pembelajaran daring.

ABSTRACT
The rapid growth of information and communication technology (ICT) enables and enhances variation in learning technology. E-learning is now a common terminology, applicable for both formal and informal types of technology-mediated learning. This results in the emergence of virtual learning community, another informal type of e-learning. By applying mixed-methods approach, convergent design, and parallel databases variants, this study seeks to explore and analyse the learner experience in Indonesian context of virtual learning community, namely Komunitas Guru Belajar (KGB). In this study, qualitative and quantitative data are collected from online survey to 365 respondents and interview with 9 participants. Data are analyzed by using factor analysis for the quantitative dataset and thematic analysis for qualitative dataset. In the interpretation phase data are combined and analyzed to provide better measurement of concept and better understanding of the context of study. Result of the study shows that learner experience in KGB e-learning activity is inclined to be positive. This result is confirmed through both dataset analysis. Quantitatively, 30 of 32 indicators that measure learner experience are proven to have high scores, that is above the scale of 5. Factor analysis shows that instrument used in this study can explain 60% of the total variations. Qualitatively, learner experience is perceived as fun, good quality, useful, efficient, interactive, and relevant to the needs of the learners. There are four factors contribute to this result. Those factors are technological factor, learner factor, social factor, and course factor. Moreover, this study also shows that social media is can potentially be optimized as a proper medium to facilitate e-learning activity."

"Pengukuran laju aliran multifase merupakan hal yang krusial dalam industri minyak dan gas. Pengukuran laju aliran menjadi sangat penting untuk optimalisasi produksi dan flow assurance sistem produksi minyak. Multiphase Flow meter (MPFM) merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk melakukan pengukuran laju aliran multifase sehingga memiliki keunggulan dapat melakukan pengukuran dan mendapatkan hasil laju aliran dalam waktu singkat. Semakin berkembangnya kecerdasan buatan, pengukuran dapat juga dilakukan secara virtual. Virtual Flow Metering (VFM) merupakan salah satu cara pengukuran laju aliran multifase dengan menggunakan data sensor yang ada di ESP, dan pengukuran MPFM. Pada penelitian ini telah dirancang model machine learning untuk estimasi laju aliran menggunakan metode super learner dengan base learner XGBoost, AdaBoost, Bagging, Random Forest, dan Extra Trees. Estimasi laju aliran yang didapat dievaluasi dan divalidasi dengan menggunakan MAE, MAPE, R squared, dan cumulative deviation plot. Berdasarkan hasil evaluasi tersebut, model super learner menunjukkan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingkan model base learner yang digunakan, dengan hasil MAE 0,63, MAPE 1,60%, R squared 97,43%, dan maksimal deviasi 12,5%.

Multiphase flow rate measurement is crucial in the oil and gas industry. Flow rate measurement is very important for optimization of production and flow assurance of oil production systems. Multiphase Flow meter (MPFM) is a tool used to measure multiphase flow rates so that it has the advantage of being able to take measurements and get flow rate results in a short time. As artificial intelligence develops, measurement can also be done virtually. Virtual Flow Metering (VFM) is a way of measuring multiphase flow rates using sensor data in the ESP and MPFM measurements. In this study, a machine learning model for flow rate estimation has been designed using the super learner method with the base learner XGBoost, AdaBoost, Bagging, Random Forest, and Extra Trees. The flow rate estimates obtained were evaluated and validated using the MAE, MAPE, R squared, and cumulative deviation plots. Based on the results of this evaluation, the super learner model shows better results than the base learner model used, with MAE 0.63, MAPE 1.60%, R squared 97.43%, and a maximum deviation of 12.5%."

Undang-Undang adalah Peraturan Perundang-undangan yang dibentuk oleh Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat dengan persetujuan Presiden. Undang-Undang memiliki sifat mengikat secara umum. Semua ketentuan pada Undang-Undang berlaku untuk seluruh rakyat Indonesia, termasuk ketentuan pidana di dalamnya. Oleh karena itu, setiap warga negara Indonesia perlu memahami informasi sanksi pidana pada Undang-Undang. Melalui penelitian ini, peneliti mengajukan metode untuk mendapatkan informasi pidana dari Undang-Undang. Pendekatan yang dilakukan adalah dengan melakukan klasifikasi tiap pasal, ayat, dan poin huruf pada Undang-Undang. Penelitian ini menggunakan tiga metode klasifikasi, yaitu Support Vector Machine, Classification and Regression Tree, dan Ripple Down Rules Learner. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa metode Classification and Regression Tree memberikan hasil terbaik, dengan F1-score mencapai 93,3 .

ABSTRACT
Law is a set of provisions and rules formed by People 39 s Representative Council with the agreement of President. Law generally binds every people in Indonesia. In other words, all provisions in Law apply to all people in Indonesia, including the punishment provisions. Because of that, every Indonesian people needs to understand the punishment provisions in Law documents. In this research, we propose a method to get all the punishment provisions from Law text. The approach taken is by doing classification on every articles, verses, and points in Law document. We use three classification methods in this research, which are Support Vector Machine, Classification and Regression Tree, and Ripple Down Rules Learner. Experiment results show that Classification and Regression Tree gives the best results, with F1 score reaching 93,3 ."

"Tesis ini mencoba untuk menjawab permasalahan terjadinya kesenjangan pencapaian pemelajaran yang diraih pemelajar bahasa Mandarin sebagai bahasa kedua di Indonesia dengan meneliti strategi belajar hanzi yang digunakan oleh pemelajar Indonesia, faktor¬faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan suatu strategi belajar tertentu serta perbedaan strategi belajar yang digunakan oleh pemelajar yang berhasil dan pemelajar yang kurang berhasil.
Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian studi kasus yang menggunakan instrumen kuesioner, verbal report, wawancara, dan tes dengan jumlah subjek penelitian sebanyak 13 orang. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik tipologi.
Dari penelitian ini, ditemukan 64 buah strategi belajar hanzi yang terbagi dalam enam buah kelompok strategi. Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pemilihan strategi belajar tertentu dapat dilihat dari faktor pemelajar dan faktor ortografi. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga menemukan adanya strategi-strategi tertentu yang digunakan oleh pemelajar yang berhasil untuk mendukung pemelajarannya namun tidak digunakan oleh pemelajar yang kurang berhasil.

This study tried to answer why there was a gap in learning achievements among Indonesian learners who studied Mandarin Chinese Language as a second language. A research on the hanzi learning strategies used by the Indonesian learners, the factors that influenced the selection of a particular learning strategy and the differences of learning strategies applied by successful learners and unsuccessful learners was conducted to answer the question.
This research was a case study research with 13 research subjects. The instruments used for collecting the data were questionnaires, verbal reports, interviews as well as tests. The data were analyzed by using typology technique.
Based on the data collected, this research identified 64 harrzi learning strategies which were divided into six main categories. There were two factors that influenced the application of these strategies: learner factor and orthography factor. Furthermore, this research also found several particular strategies that were used effectively by the successful learners to enhance their studies, but they were not used by the unsuccessful learners.
