"Penelitian ini menganalisis gerakan Ni Putes Ni Soumises (NPNS) yang bertahan dari 2003 hingga 2020 melalui kacamata ideologi gender dan sekularisme. NPNS merupakan gerakan berbasis ideologi gender yang berumur panjang dalam memperjuangkan kepentingan politik perempuan migran melawan ideologi fundamentalis yang represif di komunitas banlieue. Selama lebih dari satu dekade, NPNS telah menjadi gerakan yang signifikan dalam lanskap sekularisme Prancis. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini ingin mengungkap alasan perkembangan dan kebertahanan NPNS sebagai gerakan ideologi gender yang signifikan di Prancis. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan studi pustaka, penelitian ini menerapkan teori Butler dan Lauretis tentang ideologi gender, serta konsep Aparatus Negara (State Apparatuses) milik Althusser, untuk menganalisis dinamika NPNS melalui tiga periode: kebangkitan, kejayaan, dan masa bertahan. Temuan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kebertahanan NPNS disebabkan oleh dukungan negara secara politis dan materi melalui penentangan gerakan terhadap dominasi budaya patriarki laki-laki Muslim banlieue, yang sejalan dengan ideologi sekuler Prancis. Selain itu, peran signifikan NPNS sebagai ruang aman bagi perempuan migran yang menjadi korban kekerasan berbasis gender memicu dukungan dari masyarakat yang turut berkontribusi atas bertahannya NPNS.

This research analyzes the Ni Putes Ni Soumises (NPNS) movement that lasted from 2003 to 2020 through the lens of gender ideology and secularism. NPNS is a long-term gender ideology-based movement that fights for migrant women's political interests against repressive fundamentalist ideologies in banlieue communities. For more than a decade, the NPNS has been a significant movement in the French secularism landscape. Therefore, this study aims to uncover the reasons for the development and survival of the NPNS as a significant gender ideology movement in France. Using qualitative approach with literature studies methodology, this research applies Butler and Lauretis' theories on gender ideology, as well as Althusser's concept of State Apparatuses, to analyze the dynamics of NPNS through three periods: the rise, the triumph, and the defensive stage. This research findings show that the longevity of the NPNS is due to political and material state support through the stance of the movement against the dominance of the banlieue's Muslim male patriarchal culture, which is aligned with French secular ideology. In addition, the significant role of NPNS as a safe space for migrant women who are victims of gender-based violence triggers support from the community, which contributes to the longevity of NPNS."

"Representasi wanita dalam industri perfilman menunjukkan bahwa penggambaran karakter perempuan masih erat kaitannya dengan peran yang kurang signifikan sebagai karakter minor. Sebagai konsekuensi dari karakterisasi gender antara perempuan dan laki-laki, karakter perempuan seringkali digambarkan melalui karakterisasi yang cenderung lemah dan tidak berdaya, yang dalam hal ini berpengaruh terhadap degradasi citra perempuan di industri perfilman. Oleh karena itu, melalui konsep gender dan maskulinitas, makalah ini akan menganalisis karakter-karakter dalam serial televisi Orphan Black untuk menelaah aspek pemberdayaan perempuan dengan menggunakan teori gender dan maskulinitas dalam menganalisis karakter-karakter klon wanita, serta narasi film guna menyingkap ideologi gender yang cenderung direpresentasikan ambivalen dalam film Orphan Black.

Women representation in film industry shows that numerous images of women are still associated with less important role as minor characters. As a consequence of gender characterization of women and men, women charachters mostly suffer from weak and powerless characterization, and it contributes to the degradedation of women 39 s image in film industry. A science fiction TV series called Orphan Black, nonetheless, manages to represent women through their feminine as well as masculine qualities that seem to redefine the gender ideology. However, the tv series also shows some contradicly gender issues. Through the concepts of gender and masculinity, this paper will analyze the characters to see the empowerment aspects by using gender and masculinity theory to analyze the female clone characters and the narrative of Orphan Black to expose its ambivalent gender ideology."

"Topik penelitian ini adalah ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska karya Eduard Uspenskij. Tulisan ini bertujuan mengidentifikasi ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska. Teori yang digunakan dalam analisis ini adalah teori semiotik Roland Barthes. Untuk melihat ideologi yang terkandung dalam film ceburaska penulis menggunakan dua tahapan teori semiotik Roland Barthes berupa denotasi dan konotasi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode descriptive dan criticsm. Dalam Analisis ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska penulis juga menggunakan konsep-konsep sebagai berikut: konsep tokoh dan penokohan, ideologi, dan film sebagai ideologi. Hasil penelitian ini adalah film ceburaska mengandung unsur-unsur ideologi komunisme yang dapat dilihat dari tanda-tanda yang ada dalam setiap adegan. Latar belakang Eduard Uspenskij juga mempengaruhi keberadaan ideologi komunisme dalam film ceburaska.

The topic of this research is communist ideology in the film ceburaska by Eduard Uspenskij. This paper aims to identify the ideology of communism in ceburaska. The theory used in this analysis is Roland Barthess semiotics theory. In order to see the ideology contained in ceburaska, the writer use two stages of Roland Barthes's semiotic theory of denotation and connotation. The method used in this research is descriptive and criticsm method. In the analysis of communist ideology in ceburaska, the writer also use the following concepts: the concept of character and characterization, ideology, and film as an ideology. The outcome from this research is ceburaska film containing elements of communist ideology that can be seen from the signs that exist in every scene. The background of Eduard Uspenskij also the influence the existence of communist ideology in ceburaska."
