"Klaim antara pihak-pihak yang terkait dalam proyek konstruksi adalah hal yang sering terjadi dalam pelaksanaan pekerjaan. Klaim akan dapat menyebabkan terhambatnya pelaksanaan pekerjaan di proyek konstruksi apabila tidak mendapat penanganan yang baik dari masing-masing pihak yang terkait. Untuk itu perlu dicari cara untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor penyebabnya sehingga diharapakan dapat menghindari atau meminimalkan dari kemungkinan terjadinya klaim tersebut.Tujuan tesis ini adalah untuk mengetahui seberapa besar hubungan yang berpengaruh nyata antara pengaruh klaim terhadap kinerja waktu kontraktor untuk proyek-proyek bangunan bertingkat di wilayah Jabotabek. Hasil dari penelitian ini yang menggunakan analisis stastitik terhadap sample proyek dalam bentuk kuisioner memperlihatkan hasil yang menyatakan bahwa adanya klaim dengan variabel penentu yang mewakili variabel lainnya mempunyai tingkat kesesuaian sebesar 84,4% terhadap variabel kinerja waktu proyek dengan model persamaan linear dengan 2 variabel penentunya adalah, pembayaran termin yang terlambat dan perhitungan struktur dan disain bangunan yang tidak tepat."
