The book presents the latest studies on the work–life balance of millennial (also known as Generation Y) building professionals in Singapore and South Korea. Its main goal is to compare and contrast the workplace attitudes of millennials, and to provide guidelines that help supervisors in the construction industry manage their employees’ expectations regarding work–life balance. Accordingly, it explains and links various principles regarding work–life conflicts, work–life enrichments and the work–life interface. Furthermore, the book introduces readers to coping strategies, a dimension that has not yet been explored substantially and has the potential to contribute significantly to the study and understanding of work–life balance. The book makes recommendations for the top management on assigning a capable leader to drive the changes in the organization, and on empowering the leader to implement effective strategies for promoting work–life balance, especially for the millennials who are now playing an increasing central role in the global construction sector.

......This thesis discusses the legal protection of well-known trademarks for trademark dilution against unfair competition in Indonesia. The author proposes two main issues: First, regarding the protection of well-known trademarks for trademark dilution against unfair competition based on International Treaties and Trademark Law in the United States, European Union, Singapore, and Indonesia. While the second is regarding the implementation of dilution theory by the Judge in his consideration in deciding the well-known trademark dispute. By using a normative juridical research method with a statutory approach and a comparative law method. The protection provided in Law No. 20 of 2016 regarding Trademarks and Geographical Indications and The Regulation of Minister of Law and Human Rights No. 12 of 2021 regarding Trademark Registration has not explicitly regulated and provided protection for well-known trademarks for an act of trademark dilution against unfair competition in Indonesia. On the other hand, the Singapore Trademark Act 1998 Chapter 332 as revised in 2005 has provided legal protection for well-known trademarks for trademark dilution against unfair competition in Singapore. However, if referring to the consideration of the Panel of Judges of the Commercial Court at the Central Jakarta District Court, it has indirectly implemented and provided legal protection of well-known trademarks for trademarks dilution against unfair competition correctly. The authors suggest that the protection of well-known trademarks for trademark dilution can be used as a new legal provision to provide legal certainty for the owner of a well-known trademark.

......This research is made to show about the Provision of Incentives in Issuing Green Bonds to Issuers in the Indonesian’s Capital Market. Meanwhile, the regulation regarding granting green bond incentives issued by the governments of Singapore and Japan have succeeded in significantly increasing the development of green bonds in their countries. Recommendations from this research are the government can grant incentives from a monetary or fiscal perspective by coordinating with relevant ministries/agencies and the government can grant green bond incentives in a subsidy scheme or reduce mandatory costs to get a "green" label as has been implemented by Singapore and Japan.

This book focuses on current subcontracting practices in the construction industry and their effects on Singapore’s construction productivity. It offers readers a better understanding of how the fragmentation of large and small firms in Singapore impacts construction productivity when operating under the commonly adopted multilayer subcontracting system (MLSS), which extends globally to the construction industries in other countries that have adopted the MLSS. The book also assesses the effectiveness of subcontracting practices in helping local contractors improve their construction productivity (and thereby improve the industry’s overall productivity). In closing, it provides recommendations on how the problems associated with the MLSS can best be addressed, and how its benefits can be capitalized on through organizational learning.
