"Skripsi ini membahas sebuah cerpen Luka Karya Lu Xinhua melalui pendekatan intrinsik dan ekstrinsik. Pengkajian melalui pendekatan intrinsik membahas tentang karya sastra mengenai alur, latar waktu dan latar tempat, serta tokoh dan penokohan. Pendekatan ekstrinsik sebagai salah satu aspek dalam sosiologi sastra untuk menghubungkan kejadian di dalam cerpen dengan kondisi sejarah Cina. Analisis tersebut bertujuan untuk memaparkan luka batin yang dialami tokoh utama yaitu Wang Xiaohua. Berdasarkan analisis menunjukkan bahwa luka batin tebesar Wang Xiaohua adalah karena dia tidak dapat hidup bersama dengan ibunya. Dari cerita cerpen juga dapat diketahui bahwa apa yang disajikan oleh Lu Xinhua dalam cerpen Luka banyak hal yang menjadi realistis pada masa Revolusi Kebudayaan di Cina.

This thesis analyzed short story The Wounded by Lu Xinhua by using the intrinsic and extrinsic approaches. The study through the intrinsic approach discussed the structure of literary work including plot, time, place, and characterization of the characters themselves. Meanwhile, the extrinsic approach as one of the aspect in sosiology of literature to link the events in the short story with the history of China itself. The analysis is intended to describe the inner wound that Wang Xiaohua suffered as the main character. The study shows that the inner wound of Wang Xiaohua was mainly because she could not live with her mother. From what Lu Xinhua wrote in the story of The Wounded, it is known that some of the matters were the reflection of Chinese Cutural Revolution era."

"ABSTRAKJurnal ini membahas tentang ironi yang terdapat dalam cerpen bergaya realis Unsu Joheun Nal karyaHyeon Jin Geon yang dibuat pada era 1920-an. Cerpen ini menceritakan tentang Bapak Kim, seorangpenarik bendi yang tinggal di Seoul dan memiliki seorang istri yang sedang sakit di rumah. Pada suatuhari ia merasa bahwa hari itu adalah hari keberuntungannya karena ia mendapat banyak uang dari hasilkerjanya. Ironisnya ia menemukan istrinya meninggal dunia ketika ia tiba di rumah. Tujuan penelitianini adalah untuk mengetahui ironi-ironi yang terdapat di dalam cerpen Unsu Joheun Nal. Dalammelakukan penelitian, penulis menggunakan metode close-reading untuk menganalisis ironi yangterdapat cerpen tersebut. Penelitian dimulai dengan membaca teliti teks cerpen Unsu Joheun Nal danmengaitkannya dengan sumber-sumber lain yang terkait. Dengan begitu, penulis dapat memahami danmenganalisis ironi apa saja yang terdapat di dalam cerpen tersebut. Melalui langkah tersebut, penulismerumuskan kesimpulan bahwa cerpen Unsu Joheun Nal mengandung beberapa ironi situasional. Ironisituasional tersebut tergambar dalam inti cerita cerpen dan beberapa situasi pada bagian-bagian kecilcerpen.

ABSTRACTThis journal discussed about the irony portrayed in Unsu Joheun Nal, a realist short story written in1920s era by Hyeon Jin Geon. This short story tells about Mr. Kim, a rickshaw-man living in Seoul anda husband of a sick wife. One day, he knew that it was his lucky day because all of sudden, he got quitea big amount of money from his work. Ironically, he found his wife has been dead when he reachedhome. The purpose of this study was to determine the irony portrayed in the short story Unsu JoheunNal. In conducting the research, the writer used close-reading method to analyse the irony potrayed inthe short story. The research began with reading the short story text and other sources related. The writerthen understood and analysed the irony in the short story. Through these steps, the writer compose aconclusion that the short story Unsu Joheun Nal portrayed some situational irony. Those situationalironies portrayed in the main story and some situations in the small parts of the short story."
