"ABSTRAKDalam penentuan proyek irigasi, Departemen Pekerjaan Umum dihadapkan suatu masalah yaitu kesulitan menentukan proyek yang diusulkan oleh berbagai daerah maupun instansi lain yang disebabkan banyaknya kriteria.Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan metode analisa pengambilan keputusan yang multi-kriteria, selanjutnya dipergunakan untuk menyaring program pembangunan irigasi agar diperoleh hasil yang optimum.Metode yang dipergunakan adalah dengan pendekatan Proses Hirarkhi Analitik (PHA). Langkah-langkahnya yaitu: pertama membuat hirarkhi untuk pengambilan keputusan. Kedua adalah menentukan faktor dan sub faktor, selanjutnya dicari bobot untuk penilaian dengan menggunakan nilai eigen dan vektor eigen. Ketiga adalah menentukan klasifikasi penilaian untuk setiap sub faktor atau kriteria. Keempat adalah melaksanakan penilaian terhadap proyek-proyek yang diusulkan yaitu nilai yang telah dinormalisasi dikalikan bobot, selanjutnya dijumlahkan. Terakhir menentukan urutan prioritas proyek yaitu sesuai urutan jumlah nilai.

ABSTRACT

In selecting the irrigation project, the Department of Public Work faces the solve the difficulty to select the project proposed by province government or by other institutions because of many criteria.

The purpose of the research is to develop the method to analyze the multi-criteria decision making, the method is then utilized to screen the program of irrigation to yield the optimum result.

The method is approach by the analytical hierarchy process. The steps of the process are : the firs, to make hierarchy to make the decision; the second, to determine the factor and sub factor, then searched to weigh the evaluation using eigen value and eigen vector, the third to determine the classification of evaluation for the proposed project, e.g., the normalized value multiplied by the weight, the summed; the last step, to determine sequence of the project priority based on the order of the value sum."

"Di berbagai negara dan industri, manajemen manufakturing dari sudut strategi hanya memainkan peranan pembantu dibandingkan dengan fungsi pemasaran dan keuangan. Kebanyakan perusahaan tidak mempunyai strategi manufakturing formal dan tidak diarahkan sama sekali untuk mencapai sasaran perusahaan. Padahal tanpa strategi yang berarti, perusahaan dapat membuat keputusan jangka pendek yang bisa kontradiksi dengan tujuan jangka panjang, dengan hasil yang tidak sesuai antara aktivitas manufakturing dan strategi perusahaan.PT. X sebagai suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dalam industri farmasi juga tidak terlepas dari kebutuhannya untuk mengelola operasi manufakturingnya agar dapat mendukung strategi perusahaan untuk dapat bersaing dalam pasar farmasi. Penelitian ini menggambarkan bagaimana manajemen operasi di PT. X menggunakan pendekatan audit manufakturing sebagai elemen dalam formulasi strategi manufakturing yang sejalan dengan strategi perusahaan. Formulasi strategi manufakturing menggunakan model dari Menda (2004) dan dilakukan untuk produk obat A dan B yang diproduksi sendiri oleh PT. X. Alternatif strategi manufakturing yang diperoleh adalah strategi penekanan biaya dan variasi rasa produk untuk produk A, serta strategi penekanan biaya untuk produk B.Dari kedua alternatif strategi manufakturing produk A, kemudian dipilih strategi yang paling sesuai untuk kebutuhan perusahaan saat ini dengan menggunakan metode Analytic Network Process (ANP). Kriteria kinerja yang digunakan meliputi biaya, kualitas, pengantaran, dan fleksibilitas. Strategi manufakturing yang dipilih adalah alternatif strategi yang mempunyai skor akhir paling besar, yaitu strategi variasi rasa produk baik untuk metode rata-rata responden dengan bobot yang berbeda maupun bobot yang sama.

In many countries and industries, manufacturing management is still subordinate in strategy making to the marketing and financial functions. Many firms have no formal manufacturing strategy and manufacturing is simply not geared to a business's corporate strategy. Without a meaningful strategy, firms often make short-term decisions that are in conflict with their long-term goals, which invariably results in a poor match between manufacturing activities and the firm's overall strategy.

PT. X as a pharmaceutical company also has the need to manage their manufacturing operations in line with corporate strategy to leverage their competitive advantage in pharmaceutical market. This research describes how operation management in PT. X using manufacturing audit approach as key element to formulate manufacturing strategy that fit the corporate strategy. The formulation of manufacturing strategy proposed by Menda (2004) has applied in PT. X. The formulation is particularly used for medicine product A and B. Manufacturing strategy alternatives adopted include production cost reduction and variations of flavor for product A. For product B, manufacturing strategy adopted is only production cost reduction.

From both manufacturing strategy alternatives of product A, the most suitable strategy for current condition of the company is selected using Analytic Network Process (ANP) method. Performance criteria used include cost, quality, delivery, and flexibility. The selected manufacturing strategy is variations of flavor that has the highest final score, for different or same weighted average of respondents? methods."

"This paper aims to address the notable lack of empirical works that examine factors influencing executive's interpretation. It examines (1) the direct influence of cognitive style (comprising analytic and intuitive thinking) on executive's interpretation of strategic issues as controllable, and (2) the moderating effect of two group level characteristics, namely information processing structure and comprehensiveness on how cognitive style influences executive's interpretation. Using case scenarios questionnaires, the study collected responses from 46 executives in the Indonesian pharmaceutical industry and analysed the hypothesized relationship using hierarchical-multiple regression. The study demonstrates that (I) faith m intuition has direct and positive effects on executive's interpretation of issues as controllable; (2) the impact of the need for cognition only bears fruit when it interacts with comprehensiveness; and (3) although information processing structure does not moderate the relationship between faith in intuition and executive's interpretation (i.e., hypothesis is not supported), it shows a direct relationship with executive's interpretation. The paper discusses the results in terms of its implication for research in the psychology of strategic management."
