"Krisis identitas merupakan keadaan di mana seseorang mulai meragukan identitas yang dimilikinya. Krisis identitas dapat terjadi karena seseorang menerima represi – represi yang membuatnya harus melakukan sebuah resistensi untuk mengatasi represi tersebut. Karya sastra Onder De Sneeuw Een Indisch Graf bagian De Veertigste Dag karya Frans Lopulalan (1985) menceritakan krisis identitas yang dialami tokoh Ik yang merupakan kaum imigran Maluku di Belanda serta resistensi yang dilakukannya. Jurnal ilmiah ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana resistensi yang dilakukan tokoh Ik untuk mengatasi krisis indentitas yang dialami olehnya.

Identity crisis is a state where someone start doubting their identity. It could be happen because their receive repressions that make them have to do resistance to get hold the repressions. A literary work Onder De Sneeuw Een Indisch Graf part De Veertigste Dag made by Frans Lopulalan (1985) tells about identity crisis that happened to character Ik who is one of Mollucan in Netherland and how he resist the identity crisis. "Jurnal ini membahas tindak-tindak budaya, seperti pelaksanaan tradisi dan ritual serta penggunaan bahasa yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat Maluku generasi pertama dan kedua di Belanda pada fragmen “De veertigste dag” dalam roman Onder de Sneeuw een Indisch Graf karya Frans Lopulalan. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa orang-orang Maluku berusaha untuk "membedakan diri" mereka dengan melakukan berbagai tindak budaya sebagai bentuk pertahanan diri. Opresi yang dialami oleh komunitas Maluku di Belanda justru membuat keinginan untuk mempertahankan budaya Maluku tumbuh subur.

This journal discuss about culture acts such as the tradition and ritual execution, and also the language which is used by the first and second generation of Maluku society in Netherlands on fragment “De veertigste dag” in roman Onder de Sneeuw een Indisch Graf written by Frans Lopulalan. The method that is used in this research is qualitative. The result of this research shows that Maluku people try to distinguish themselves by doing any kind of culture acts as a symbol of self defense. The oppression that Maluku community experienced in Netherlands arouses their will to maintain Maluku culture’s development."

"Karya ilmiah ini membahas posisi tokoh Frans pada fragmen “De Veertigste Dag” dalam roman Onder de Sneeuw een Indisch Graf karya Frans Lopulalan. Tokoh ini berada dalam dua komunitas, yaitu komunitas Maluku dan komunitas Belanda. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif. Pendekatan struktural Erica van Boven dan Gilis Dorleijn dan Burhan Nurgiyantoro digunakan dalam menganalisis unsur tokoh dan latar cerita. Selanjutnya, permasalahan identitas tokoh Frans dianalisis dengan pendekatan identitas budaya Stuart Hall.

This scientific paper discusses the character of Frans on fragment “De Veertigste Dag” in roman Onder de Sneeuw een Indisch Graf created by Frans Lopulalan. This figure lives in two communities, namely the Moluccan community and the Dutch community. This research uses qualitative descriptive method. The structural approach of Erica van Boven, Gilis Dorleijn and Burhan Nurgiyantoro are used in analyzing the character and setting of the story. Furthermore, the character identity issue of Frans is analyzed by the cultural identity approach of Stuart Hall."

"ABSTRAKMasa kejayaan Hindia-Belanda di bidang ekonomi dan dampak dari Politik Etis turut mendorong maju dan berkembangnya dunia iklan pada waktu itu. Banyak perusahaan berlomba-lomba agar produknya laku di pasaran, oleh sebab itu mereka memanfaatkaan media iklan untuk mewujudkan tujuannya. Situasi ini dimanfaatkan pula oleh perusahaan Belanda yaitu Van Nelle dengan mengimpor produknya ke Hindia-Belanda. Penggunaan sosok pribumi dalam iklan Tembaco Van Nelle salah satunya memiliki tujuan untuk menarik hati kaum tersebut agar mau membeli produk yang ditawarkan. Dari sana dapat dilihat citra yang berusaha dibangun oleh perusahaan berkaitan dengan sosok pribumi yang ditampilkan dalam iklan poster. Tulisan ini membahas bagaimana citra pribumi dibentuk dalam iklan poster Tembaco Van Nelle, dengan ruang lingkup pembahasan berada pada periode tahun 1925-1935 di Hindia-Belanda. Dalam meneliti citra pribumi, penulis menggunakan teori citra oleh Frank Jefkins dengan metode penelitian kualitatif.

The Indies glory period in the economic field and the impact of the Dutch Ethical Policy has contributed to the advancement and development of the advertising world at that time. Many companies were competing to have their products sold in the market, so they took advantage of advertising media to achieve their goals. This situation was exploited also by the Dutch company, Van Nelle, by importing its products to the Dutch East Indies. One of the purposes by using the indigenous figures in Tembaco Van Nelle advertising was to attract the people to buy products offered. From there it can be seen the image that the company was trying to build regarding the indigenous figure featured in the poster advertisement. This journal discusses about how the indigenous image of Indonesian is shaped in the Tembaco Van Nelle poster advertisement, with the scope of the discussion lies in the period 1925-1935 in the Dutch East Indies. In researching the indigenous image, the author uses the theory of image by Frank Jefkins with qualitative research methods. "

"In October 1918, Jan Burgers, 23 years old, started as professor of aerodynamics, hydrodynamics, and their applications at the Technical University in Delft. This can be regarded as the birth of fluid mechanics in the Netherlands, not only as an academic discipline but also as the start of the serious study of flow phenomena in engineering environments. During the period of Burgers tenure in Delft (till 1955) three Dutch institutes were founded which to this day remain important centres of research in various fields of fluid mechanics: aerospace engineering, hydraulics, and naval engineering. Burgers and others developed mathematical, experimental, and numerical approaches of a broad range of fluid flows; some of their achievements have become well-known worldwide and can be seen as highlights of Dutch fluid mechanics. From the 1950s stromingsleer (flow theory) attained a permanent and respected place in the curriculum and research of (technical) universities, at many old and new research institutes and also at several industrial research laboratories. In the 1980s fluid mechanics finally became recognized as a serious branch of physics and an important field of (applied) science. This resulted in a close cooperation between academic groups, institutes and industry and the foundation of the Burgerscentrum, the Research School for Fluid Mechanics in the Netherlands. One hundred years after Burgers appointment in Delft, Dutch fluid mechanics is still very much alive. This volume gives a full account of its rich history and also offers a view on the broad range of areas of application: transport, energy production, biology and medicine, production processes, etc. It has been written not only for those working in this field but also for those interested in the history of Dutch science and in the development of science and the fascinating world of fluid flow phenomena."

"Perkembangan industri fashion yang pesat sejak lama tidak hanya terjadi di atas pergelaran busana atau butik-butik saja, namun juga pada penggunaan bahasa pada keterangan yang menyertai foto. Dalam artikel fashion, foto adalah hal yang penting untuk mendukung artikel. Foto yang didukung dengan keterangan foto akan semakin memperkuat rasa penasaran pembaca, sehingga dapat tertarik untuk melanjutkan proses membaca. Pada penelitian ini kita akan melihat majas apa saja yang muncul pada lima keterangan foto yang menjadi korpus, dan menelaah apakah fungsi yang didukung oleh majas yang bersangkutan sesuai dengan fungsi sebenarnya dari keterangan foto. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kuantitatif, dengan pengambilan data dari lima keterangan foto dari lima artikel mengenai trend mode musim panas 2014 di web fashion "Modeblog". Hasilnya ditemukan bahwa setiap keterangan foto memiliki lebih dari dua majas, dan majas-majas tersebut memuat fungsi informatif keterangan foto, namun juga memuat fungsi seruan, fungsi pengalihan, dan fungsi ekspresif.

The rapid development in Fashion Industry has occurred for quite a while not only on catwalks or in the boutiques, but it can also be found in the usage of language especially in the texts, below photo's in fashion article. The text usually gives explanation of the photos, and it stimulates the eagerness of the readers to read the article completely. In this paper, we will try to find out what kind of figure of speeches are being used in the five texts which are found below the photos taken from 5 editions of "Modeblog.nl", and we try to identify the functions of the figure of speeches. This analysis uses the quantitative research method, and the data's are taken from "Modeblog.nl", which talk about the fashion trends in the Summer of 2014. The results show that every text below the photo's contains more than 2 figure of speeches, and the function fulfilled by the figure of speeches in all of the texts is definitely the informative function. Functions such as the appealing function, the distracting function, and the expressive function are also identified, but they are not always found in every texts of the photos."
