"This book addresses a range of basic and essential topics, selected from the author's teaching and research activities, offering a comprehensive guide in three parts: Statics, Kinematics and Kinetics. Chapter 1 briefly discusses the history of classical and modern mechanics, while Chapter 2, presents preliminary knowledge, preparing readers for the subsequent chapters. "ABSTRAKPerancangan merupakan hal yang sangat penting dalam dunia teknik, proses perancangan merupakan penerapan konsep-konsep dari berbagai ilmu-ilmu keteknikan yang dipadukan dengan sentuhan kreativitas. Fungsi dari perancangan adalah mendefinisikan karakteristik dari produk sehingga dapat bersesuaian dengan kebutuhanpasar, sehingga memahami kebutuhan pasar merupakan langkah penting untuk kesuksesan perancangan.Penelitian ini mencoba untuk membuat konsep perancangan sebuah alat pengering kertas daur ulang sederhana yang disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pasar dan menganalisa hal-hal yang sering terjadi pada proses pengeringan, Hasil pengujianmenunjukan bahwa dalam 1 jam, alat ini mampu mengeringkan 285 gram air yang terkandung di dalam kertas daur ulang basah.

ABSTRACTDesign has always been important in all engineering practice, the design process involves the application of concepts from engineering science topic coupled with creative touch. The design function leads the definition of the physical form of the product to best meet costumer needs, so understanding costumer needs is a significantstep to succesful design.This research attempts to make a design concept of a recycled paper drying machine that is appropriated with costumer needs and identify features common in dyring process. Test result shows that in I hour this machine is able to dry 285 gram water in wet recycled paper."
