"The development of general education program at Islamic Religious Tertiary Education (PTAI) is feasible to conduct in order to meet the people's demand, in addition to increase enrollment and improve the competitiveness of PTAI graduates. However, it also needs to make a re-arrangement on PTAI institutional management seriously. Firstly, it needs to formulate a standard rule which specifically governs clearly the organization of PTAI, including on how to regulate the conditions, process and legal base for PTAI when it is going to organize a general study program. Secondly, the pattern of concentration development or study program at PTAI should refer to the applicable statutory regulation, according to the scientific atmosphere of University, Institute and Tertiary School, so it will not occur an overlapping between one and the other, and become clear also the respective domain of such institutions in educational development."

"Perguruan Tinggi Kedinasan (PTK) yang selanjutnya disebut PTKL (Perguruan Tinggi Kementerian Lain) baik Kementerian Lembaga maupun Lembaga Pemerintah non Kementerian pada awalnya ditujukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan internal Kementerian Lembaga/Instansi yang bersangkutan, namun dalam perjalanannya berkembang menjadi perguruan tinggi yang tidak hanya ditujukan untuk memenuhi kebutuhan internal akan tetapi juga pemenuhan kebutuhan KL/LPNK lain, sektor,dan masyarakat umum. Faktanya perkembangan tersebut belum diikuti dengan perangkat regulasi dan tata kelola yang memadai sehingga di satu sisi seiring bertambahnya PTKL menambah beban APBN dan di sisi yang lain berpotensi terjadi tumpang tindih dengan perguruan tinggi sejenis di bawah Kementerian yang membawahi pendidikan tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang memotret eksistensi PTKL dengan tahapan metodologi kualitatif yaitu review regulasi, observasi lapangan (field review) dan wawancara narasumber dan / tenaga ahli terkait. Temuan permasalahan dalam penelitian ini diantaranya regulasi yang berlaku saat ini sudah tidak relevan dengan kondisi sebenarnya di lapangan, tidak adanya kriteria baku pendirian pendidikan tinggi vokasi (PTKL), masih lemahnya kerjasama PTKL dengan pasar kerja/industri, masalah tagging anggaran dan tata kelola internal."

"Studi mengenai alienasi sebagian besar dilakukan di konteks Barat berfokus pada perbedaan jenis kelamin dan ras/etnis. Bagaimanapun, hasil studi-studi tersebut masih belum jelas. Hanya sedikit studi yang mempelajari alienasi dalam konteks pendidikan tinggi, khususnya pada negara berkembang dengan budaya kolektivis. Studi ini menguji tentang perbedaan jenis kelamin pada tingkat alienasi mahasiswa psikologi yang berada di semester dua, empat, enam dan delapan di Universitas Indonesia. Partisipan studi ini adalah 107 mahasiswi dan 20 mahasiswa (Rata-rata usia = 19,95 tahun; kisaran usia = 18-24 tahun). Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat alienasi antara mahasiswa dan mahasiswi tidak berbeda secara signifikan. Meskipun mahasiswa menunjukkan tingkat alienasi yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan mahasiswi, perbedaan tingkat alienasi yang signifikan hanya tampk pada mahasiswa dan mahasiswi semester enam. Hasil ini mengindikasikan bahwa jenis kelamin memiliki pengaruh yang kecil pada alienasi. Temuan ini menunjukkan pentingnya kesadaran akan tuntutan universitas dan proses belajar; peran penting familiaritas terhadap lingkungan belajar; dan dibutuhkan optimalisasi terhadap layanan pendukung mahasiswa.
Previous studies on alienation were mostly done within Western business context focusing on gender and racial/ ethnicity differences. However, their results were still equivocal. Less attention has been given to address the phenomenon in higher education context, especially in a developing country with collectivist culture. The present study examined gender differences at the levels of alienation amongst psychology students enrolling in semester two, four, six, and eight at the University of Indonesia. Participants were 107 female and 20 male university students (Mage = 19.95; range = 18–24 years old). It was found that levels of alienation among male and female students were not significantly different. Although male students showed higher levels of alienation than their female counterparts, only semester six female and male students showed significance difference at their level of alienation. Results indicated that gender had a marginal influence on alienation. These findings suggested that the awareness of university demands and learning process are important; familiarity to learning environment is vital; and optimisation of the student support service is needed."

"Today, education has an important role in communities. Master of management program is a field of social science that would be needed in the labor market in various parts of life, viz social, cultural, political, and economic. “X” University has a program that offered in post graduate study, i.e. 'master of management program'. This program is popular in Indonesia. Some factors can be seen, by using the LISREL program, to test SEM (structural equation modeling). Those factors are from 'service marketing mix' (nature of service performance). and will affect the ittention of “X” University undergraduate Business program student, to continue their study to post graduate, master of management program in the similar University. The results showed factor that make they continue theirs study to 'master of management program' in the similar university is 'Promotion & Education'. Then “X” University, undergraduate Business program student's satisfaction is derived from 'Physical Environment' and 'Process'.

"continuing education is aterm that usually used to provide educaiton for adult students, in upgrading their knowledge in particular field of study and therefore it can be form of a certificate or degree programs. the ceritficate programs which is combined with a transfer credit system is becoming more releveance for adults students who work. after 24 years of participating in providing education for adult learner, UT has many experiences in providing programs through distance education mode, including ezperience of credit transfer system. Ut has 4 facilities that provide programs in degree programs and therefore UT already developed printed course materials about 820 for regular students and 120 for elementary school teaher training programs. these printed course materials can be utilized by other programs that has about similar curriculum or a taylor made program. besides for utilizing course materials continuing program should be so designed that courses in this program can be transfer to a degree program. a certificate continuing education program should be appropriate designed to meet not only the competency required for that program but also that the course taken by students could be transer for a degree program. from the operational point of view of UT system continuing educaiton program could be atached in UT system without many difficulties as long as courses of program will be regarded as a different course although it uses same course material "

"The sustainability of higher education should be supported by marketing strategies that enhance marketing performance and attract a higher number of prospective students. Considering the decision of prospective students to attend a particular institution is always motivated by the information they obtain on that institution’s achievements, this study aims to develop digital network empowerment and digital information sharing activities based on the resource-based view model. In addition, considering digital services have not yet had a conclusive effect on marketing performance, this study also aims to develop digital service recovery to enhance the effect of digital network empowerment and digital information sharing on marketing performance. Primary data were collected using a questionnaire sent to the management teams of Indonesian private Islamic higher education institutions via a Google form link. The data were processed using SPSS and Amos. The findings demonstrate that digital network empowerment and digital information sharing have a very significant effect on marketing performance, but digital service recovery does not. However, digital service recovery has a very significant effect on digital network empowerment and digital information sharing. The findings illustrate that digital network empowerment and digital information sharing can contribute to the resource-based view model to enhance marketing performance."
