Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa dengan cara mengeksploitasi teknologi digital dan teknologi informasi, industri musik independen mampu meningkatkan efektivitas strategi pemasaran. Dengan demikian, biaya layanan streaming dimasukkan sebagai salah satu komponen dari model produk dan promosi. Selain itu, strategi penetapan harga alternatif diperlukan untuk memberikan insentif yang signifikan dalam menarik minat konsumen. Peentingnya format digital menyoroti distribusi musik ke depannya.

The purpose of this study is to analyse the implication of digital technology and advanced information technology in regards to the overall operation of independent music industry, particularly in terms of marketing effectiveness. The analysis revealed that through such exploitation of digital and information technology, independent music industry is able to enhance marketing strategies more effectively. In doing so, the inclusion of streaming services is used as part of product and promotion model. Furthermore, alternative pricing strategy is necessary to provide necessary incentivesin enticing music consumer. The importance of digital format highlights the future of distribution through music.
