Obesity is a common problem around the globe. In Indonesia, 12.8 percent of above 18 years old population has excess body weight. From the mentioned number, 20.7 percent counts as obesity. Obesity can increase the risk of chronic diseases such as hypertension, cardiovascular, and other non-communicable diseases. To treat obesity, several ways have been done to lose body weight. However, weight loss in obesity is difficult to retain and often comes back to the starting point. This fluctuation on body weight is called weight cycling. In weight cycling, lipid mass level is lower than free lipid mass level, which can lead to increased risk of cardiovascular disease and type 2 diabetes mellitus. Well-managed diet has been prescribed to treat weight cycling, in which low calorie high protein diet is often recommended for best result. In obesity, oxidative stress occurred in the fat tissue because of hypoxia. This study aims to observe the difference in total plasma SOD activity between the subject groups with low calorie high protein diet and low calorie standard protein diet. Methods : Subjects are 20-50 years old workers at Pusat Pelayanan Kesehatan in Balai Kota DKI Jakarta and are obese with weight cycling. Subjects are divided into the control group, which receives low calorie standard protein diet education, and the treatment group, which reveives low calorie high protein diet education. Results : The result showed no significant difference in total plasma SOD activity between the low calorie high protein diet group and low calorie standard protein group. Interpretation & conclusion : high protein and standard protein diet educations do not impact total plasma SOD activity in obese subjects with weight cycling.

The study discusses the role of social media in the implementation of a weight loss diet for obese clients at PT. Gizi Sehat Indonesia in 2022. Some of the critical success factors for weight loss explored in this study include an overview of social media use, adherence to dietary prescriptions and recommendations for physical activity, motivation, social support, and nutritional knowledge. Qualitative research was carried out with a Rapid Assessment Procedure design. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with 4 obese clients who succeeded in losing weight and 2 obese clients who had not succeeded. Triangulation was carried out by interviewing 6 nutritionists from related clients and by reviewing reports on food intake and reports on the client's physical activity level. The results showed that from the aspect of the description of the use of social media, there were no differences related to the types, tools, and duration of using social media between the two categories of informants. The difference lies in the time they are most active in using social media and the form of engagement of informants on social media content. The role of social media in complying with dietary prescriptions and physical activity recommendations, as well as for obtaining motivation depends on each individual regardless of the two types of informant categories. From the aspect of social support, there are differences in the type of support needed on social media from the two groups of informants. From the aspect of nutritional knowledge, there is no difference in the description of the knowledge of the two groups of informants. It is recommended for further research to be carried out on subjects who have lost >5% initial body weight and have managed to maintain it for at least 1 year to obtain more precise results. "

Excessive diet can cause eating disorder. Dieting behavior is common found in girl adolecents in the world and even in Indonesia. The objective of this study was to determine the description and relationship of individual and environmental factors with dieting behavior among university students of Nutrition and Communication Science Universitas Indonesia Batch 2009.
The method used in this study is cross sectional design which was conducted towards 173 samples with total sampling. The study was done at April-May 2012. The result of analysis showed that BMI, body image, diet knowledge, and mass media influence have significant association with dieting behavior.
As their psychosocial development, adolecents start trying to pleasant with their body and concern to looks attractive. The BMI has the significant relation to dieting behavior. Besides that, body image also significantly related to dieting behavior because the internalization of thin is ideal by mass media will instill body disatisfaction to those who are not thin so that they diet to be ideal. The diet knowledge also related to dieting behavior. Mass media show the pictures and the models that are thin so that those are related to body image and eventually related to dieting behavior.
The conclusion of this study is BMI, body image, diet knowledge, and mass media influence have significant association with dieting behavior. The author suggest to do the intervention through education or training related to balance nutrition, diet, BMI measurment to girl adolecents and also cooperation with mass media.

Fast food is a type of food that has been processed or cooked in a short time and that is served quickly on order basis, in a still hot condition, and can be taken away to be eaten in the street. Fast food is characterized by unbalanced nutritional intake, which is mostly high in calories, fat, sugar and salt, but low in fiber. Currently, the fast food industry has grown rapidly around the world, including in Indonesia. This may affect adolescents' diet due to increased frequency of fast food consumption. Adolescents are experiencing changes in lifestyle patterns such as changing dietary behavior and food choices that are consumed which are often unhealthy, such as foods that contain high amounts of sugar, salt, and fat. Evidenced by WHO (2020) which states that 80% of adolescents around the world often consume fast food and Nilsen (2009) states that 69% of people in Indonesia often consume fast food. This study aims to determine factors related to fast food consumption among students of the Faculty of Public Health, University of Indonesia class of 2023. This research was conducted using a cross-sectional method involving 151 respondents. Data collection was carried out from Maret – April 2024 using the simple random sampling. The results showed that 76,2% of respondents consumed fast food frequently (≥ 3 times/week). The results of the bivariate test analysis showed that there is a significant difference between pocket money to buy fast food (p-value 0,007; OR 3,111), emotional eating (p-value 0,025; OR 3,821), campus distance to fast food outlets (p-value 0,002; OR 3,600), fast food promotion (p-value 0,042; OR 2,445), dan of social media instagram exposure (p-value <0,001; OR 28,8) dengan konsumsi fast. However, it is no significant difference between gender (p-value 0,370), total pocket money (p-value 0,331), nutrition and fast food knowledge (p-value 1,000), peer group (p-value 0,344), online food delivery (p-value 1,000), dan residential distance to fast food outlets (p-value 0,685). After knowing the research results, it is hoped that college students can eat healthier foods and limit the use of social media and the influence of advertisements and fast food promotions."

This study annotates recipe translation from a keto baking book. The problems in this research are grouped into two. First is the terms of ingredients and tools. Second is the cooking techniques. Problems are regrouped according to procedures and organized in a table. Several translation procedures are applied during annotation. There are two methods of translating recipes in this study, namely, the semantic method and the communicative method. The results showed that the translation strategies used for the names of tools and ingredients were oriented towards SL so that the taste of the food produced is the same as the TS recipe. The strategies for cooking techniques were oriented towards TL, because the cooking techniques must be easily understood by the reader in order to produce the food texture and appearance according to the recipe. Culinaries vocabulary development needs to be done to assist translators in translating recipes."
