""Entrepreneurship" is a process which takes place in a network in the presence of
social relations. Vast majority of the studies related to entrepreneurship have been
in the form of personality traits of the entrepreneurs and paying attention to social
networks and social capital, has been neglected by them. This study investigates the
rural entrepreneurship in Iran and the cases of the study are some Villages in the county
of Kerman. The research method is library work and field study. After defining the
indexes and Variables of the study through a questionnaire, the necessary data are
gathered. The sampling population is estimated 150 rural enterprises in the county of
Kerman. The research findings show that there is a direct and significant relationship
between rural entrepreneurship and social capital, entrepreneurship and correlation,
entrepreneurship and awareness, entrepreneurship and cooperation. In the factor
analysis of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurship infrastructures have the highest effect
on the process of entrepreneurship."

"Permasalahan faktual public value creation dalam praktik kewirausahaan sosial dapat ditelusuri dengan menggunakan kerangka Moore?s strategic triangle. Pada permasalahan konseptual public value (Erridge, 2005) yang perlu dieksplorasi adalah (1) sulitnya mendefinisikan dan mengukur suatu nilai publik, (2) nilai-nilai di dalam sektor publik yang bersifat bersaing, (3) adanya penekanan yang kuat pada partisipasi tetapi sulit dicapai. (4) berpotensi menjadi tautological argument dimana nilai publik hanya bisa dicapai melalui capaian tujuan-tujuan sosial ekonomi, dan (5) konsep yang belum dikembangkan lebih jauh oleh pemerintah dan akademisi. Sementara dalam kewirausahaan sosial ditemukan masih sedikitnya penelitian yang menggunakan data empiris, perlunya mengeksplorasi pengukuran kesuksesaan, serta disiplin lain yang memperkuat konsep kewirausahaan sosial (Cukier, W., Trenholm, S., & Gekas, G., 2011).
Memperhatikan kedua jenis permasalahan tersebut, tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah mengeksplorasi varian strategic triangle dari Moore (1995) dalam praktik kewirausahaan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi kasus Ponpes Agribisnis Al Ittifaq di Bandung Jawa Barat, dipilih karena memenuhi karakteristik konsep kewirausahaan sosial (Dees, 1999) yang menghasilkan values atau outcomes yang diciptakan oleh hybrid voluntary sector melalui misi dan program. Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) digunakan untuk mengeksplorasi public value scorecard (Moore, 2002) dan memberikan pemecahan masalah yang mengacu pada kaidah Checkland (1990).
Penelitian ini memiliki simpulan yaitu dalam rangka menciptakan nilai publik yang berlegitimasi dan berkelanjutan secara politik, layak secara operasional dan administratif, dan bernilai secara substansi, PPAI secara praktik telah menggunakan varian-varian pada ketiga komponen strategic triangle dengan bobot kontribusi yang berbeda. Setiap varian mampu dilaksanakan oleh PPAI karena organisasi ini dipimpin seorang kyai yang memiliki kepemimpinan paternalistik dan kharismatik, serta didukung varianvarian utama lainnya sebagai perbaikan (improvement) dari public value scorecard. Varian-varian perbaikan itu adalah (1) jejaring kerjasama (collaborative network) untuk lingkungan otoritas, (2) kultivasi nilai-nilai agama dan budaya lokal untuk kapabilitas operasional, dan (3) strategi bisnis kemitraan dan hubungan patron klien untuk proposisi nilai publik.

The factual problems on public value creation in social entrepreneurship practice can be traced by exploring Moore?s strategic triangle. In conceptual problems on public value are related to (1) difficulty to define and measure a public value, (2) the contested values in public sector, (3) there is a strong emphasis on participation that is uneasy to be attained, (4) it potentially become tautological argument in which public value are merely attained through social economic goals, and (5) the unclear concept is not yet developed by government and academician (Erridge, 2005). And then, in social entrepreneurship, it is found that the least number of research using empirical data, the need exploration for measurement and achievement, and other disciplines to strengthen the concept of social entrepreneurship (Cukier, W., Trenholm, S., & Gekas, G., 2011).
Considering two kinds of problems above, the main purpose of this research is to explore the variant of the Moore?s strategic triangle (1995) in social entrepreneurship practice. This research utilizes Al Ittifaq's Islamic Boarding School for Agribusiness (PPAI) located in Bandung West Java as single case study. It is selected because PPAI as a hybrid voluntary sector has conformed with some characteristics of social entrepreneurship concept (Dees, 1999), which generates values and outcomes through its mission and programs. Soft Systems Methodology (SSM) is utilized to explore the public value scorecard (Moore, 2002) and also contribute to the problem solving interest which refers to Checkland concept (1990).
The concluding remarks of this research are in creating public value which legimate and politically sustainable, operationally and administratively feasible, and substantively valuable, PPAI practicallyimplemented variants of the strategic triangle with different weight of contribution and function. Then, every variant can be carried out by PPAI because it is led by the religious civic leader (kyai) who employs paternalistic and charismatic leadership, and supported by other prime variants which are the improvement of public value scorecard. Of those the improved variants are as follow: (1)collaborative network for authorizing environment, (2) cultivation of religious and local wisdom values for operational capability, and (3) business partnershipstrategy and patron client relationship for public value proposition."

"Penanggulangan kemiskinan tidak hanya dilaksanakan dengan strategi penurunan beban pengeluaran masyarakat miskin dan rentan melalui program perlindungan sosial (bantuan sosial dan jaminan sosial), tetapi beriringan dengan strategi peningkatan pendapatan melalui Program Kewirausahaan Sosial. Dalam mengoptimalkan program tersebut, diberikan pendampingan program untuk memberikan fokus pada inisiatif usaha, penguatan kapasitas dan prospek wirausaha baru, kemandirian wirausaha, penciptaan ekosistem kewirausahaan yang mendukung inovasi dan kreativitas dan penekanan pada pertumbuhan usaha yang berkeberlanjutan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis program pemberdayaan melalui kewirausahaan sosial dan peran pendamping program dalam memberdayakan Keluarga Penerima Manfaat (KPM) Program Keluarga Harapan (PKH) yang telah graduasi. Data penelitian diperoleh dari hasil pengamatan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi dengan subyek penelitian KPM PKH yang telah graduasi di Provinsi DKI Jakarta. Pendekatan penelitian yang dipergunakan adalah kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian bersifat explanatory. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa proses pemberdayaan melalui kewirausahaan sosial mencakup perencanaan pembentukan awal usaha melalui identifikasi, pemetaan usaha, dan analisis permasalahan dalam menentukan kebijakan intervensi program yang diberikan kepada penerima manfaat. Lebih lanjut untuk mencapai keberhasilan program, penerima manfaat melakukan identifikasi kebutuhan SDM dan bahan baku, serta meningkatkan kemampuan dan keahlian melalui pelatihan usaha dan pembagian tugas tenaga kerja sesuai dengan keahliannya. Dalam mengembangkan usaha dan pemasaran hasil produk kewirausahaan sosial, penekanan diupayakan pada teknik pemasaran, perizinan, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan pengemasan produk. Hasil kedua menunjukan bahwa pendamping sosial dan mentor bisnis memiliki peran dalam memberikan pendampingan dan pemantauan usaha untuk mempercepat pengembangan usaha KPM. Pendamping sosial dan mentor bisnis melakukan pendataan penerima bantuan program kewirausahaan sosial untuk memastikan ketepatan sasaran penerima bantuan. Selama program berlangsung pendamping sosial memberikan sosialisasi dan motivasi, edukasi berwirausaha, pelatihan, koordinasi perizinan, akses pembiayaan, pemasaran hasil untuk pengembangan usaha KPM. Pasca program kewirausahaan sosial terjadi peningkatan usaha KPM, peningkatan keahlian dan keterampilan usaha, serta perubahan perilaku KPM yang memberikan berdampak sosial terhadap masyarakat sekitar dengan membuka akses lapangan pekerjaan dan kerjasama kemitraan

Poverty abatement is not only accomplished with a strategy of reducing the expenditure duty of the poor and vulnerable through social protection programs (social assistance and social security) but side-by-side with a strategy of increasing income through the Social Entrepreneurship Program. In optimizing the program, program assistance is accommodated in order to focus on business initiatives, strengthening the capacity and prospects of new entrepreneurs, entrepreneurial independence, creating an entrepreneurial ecosystem that supports innovation and creativity and an emphasis on sustainable business growth. This research aims to describe and analyse empowerment programs through social entrepreneurship and the role of program assistants in empowering beneficiary families (KPM) of the Family Hope Program (PKH) that have been certified. The research data were attained from observations through observation, interviews, and documentation studies with research subjects KPM PKH who had certified in DKI Jakarta Province. The research approach used is qualitative with explanatory research. The results of the study show that the empowerment process through social entrepreneurship includes planning the initial formation of a business through identification, business mapping, and problem analysis in determining program intervention policies given to beneficiaries. Furthermore, in order to achieve program success, beneficiaries identify human resource and raw material needs, as well as improve capabilities and expertise through business training and division of labour tasks according to their expertise. In developing the business and marketing the results of social entrepreneurship products, emphasis is sought on marketing techniques, licensing, technology utilization, and product packaging. The second result shows that social mentors and business mentors have a role in providing business assistance and monitoring to accelerate KPM business development. Social assistants and business mentors collect data on beneficiaries of the social entrepreneurship program to ensure the accuracy of targeting beneficiaries. During the program, social assistants provide socialization and motivation, entrepreneurship education, training, licensing coordination, access to financing, and marketing of results for KPM business development. After the social entrepreneurship program, there has been an increase in KPM's businesses, increased business expertise and skills, and changes in KPM's behaviour which has a social impact on the surrounding community by opening access to jobs and partnerships"
