"[Hipertensi merupakan penyakit degeneratif yang mempunyai prevalensi tinggi diIndonesia. Banyak pasien hipertensi mengombinasikan antihipertensikonvensional dengan obat bahan alam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untukmengevaluasi pengaruh penggunaan obat bahan alam yang digunakan secarabersamaan dengan antihipertensi konvensional pada pasien hipertensi di RSUDKota Depok. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kohortretrospektif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan secara retrospektif menggunakan datasekunder berupa rekam medis dan data primer yang diambil dari hasil wawancarapasien dengan menggunakan kuesioner. Subjek penelitian ini adalah pasien rawatjalan RSUD Kota Depok yang tidak menderita penyakit lain. Pasien yang bersediadiambil datanya berjumlah 104 orang yang dikelompokan menjadi pasien terapikonvensional (56 orang) dan pasien terapi kombinasi bahan alam (48 orang).Secara umum peserta penelitian adalah perempuan, kawin, berusia dibawah 60tahun, tamat SMA, tidak mempunyai pekerjaan atau ibu rumah tangga, sudahmempunyai kesadaran untuk mengurangi konsumsi garam, berolahraga, danmenderita hipertensi tahap II. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa terapikombinasi bahan alam tidak memberikan efek bermakna terhadap tekanan darah., Hypertension is a degenerative disease with high prevalence in Indonesia. Manypatients combine conventional antihypertensive drugs with herbal medicine. Thisstudy is aimed to evaluate the effect of herbal medicine as conjunction withconventional antihypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients at Depok TownGeneral Hospital. This study wa retrospective cohort study. Data was collectedretrospectively using a quaestionnaire. The subjects were out-patients at DepokTown General Hospital who did not suffer other diseases. Patients who werewilling their data to be collected were 104 people, and divided into conventionaltherapy (56 people) and herbal combination therapy (48 people).
