"Keluarga memiliki asosiasi yang kuat dengan kesehatan dan penyakit seseorang melalui hubungan dan dinamika kehidupannya. Dengan mengetahui salah satu riwayat penyakit keluarga, seseorang dapat melakukan pencegahan serta menurunkan risiko untuk mengalami suatu penyakit tertentu. Skripsi ini membahas profil riwayat penyakit keluarga dan hubungannya dengan penyakit pasien di Klinik Dokter Keluarga Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia tahun 2006-2008. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain potong lintang. Data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder dari Laporan Studi Kasus Pasien di Klinik Dokter Keluarga Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia tahun 2006-2008. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hipertensi merupakan penyakit terbanyak yang dialami pasien dan keluarganya. Penyakit non-infeksi lain seperti diabetes melitus juga menduduki peringkat atas. Sementara persentase penyakit infeksi seperti infeksi saluran pernapasan akut dan tuberkulosis juga cukup tinggi. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan hubungan antara riwayat diabetes melitus tipe 2, penyakit jantung koroner, hipertensi derajat 2, alergi, asma, penyakit kulit, dan tuberkulosis paru dalam keluarga dengan penyakit yang dialami oleh pasien.
Family has strong association with health and diseases through a relationship and the dynamics of life. Knowing one of the family history, a person can prevent and reduce the risk for experiencing a particular disease. The objective of this study was to evaluate the profile of family history and its association with the patient?s disease in Family Physician Clinic Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia 2006-2008. The research was conducted by using the cross-sectional method. The samples collected from Patient Case Reports in the Family Physician Clinic, Faculty of Medicine University of Indonesia 2006-2008. The result shows that hypertension is the most frequent disease of the patients and family. Non-infection diseases such as diabetes mellitus also in top ranked. While the percentage of infections diseases such as acute respiratory tract infection and tuberculosis are also quite high. There are significant associations between family history of type 2 diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, stage 2 of hypertension, allergy, asthma, skin diseases, tuberculosis, and the patient?s diseases."
