Selain itu, calon apoteker juga dapat memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan pekerjaan kefarmasian, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampian, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

Internship that be held at Apotek Kimia Farma 202 Depok, PT SamMarie Tramedifa, and PT Medifarma Laboratories aims to understand the duties and responsibilities of pharmacists in the drugstore, pharmaceutical supplier, and pharmaceutical factory. In addition, the pharmacist candidate can also have the insight, knowledge, skills, and practical experience to undertake pharmaceutical work."

Apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalani praktik profesi. Standar kompetemsi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari sepuluh (10) standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Sebagai bekal dan pengalaman calon apoteker untuk dapat memahami peran apotekervdan meningkatkan kompetensi, maka dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Kimia Farma no 284, PBF PT SamMarie Tramedifa dan PT Medifarma Laboratories periode bulan Januari-April 2019. Selama PKPA diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman,dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.

A pharmacist plays an important role in the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacies and pharmaceutical wholesalers. Pharmacists must meet competency standards as a requirement for entering the workforce and undergoing professional practice. Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of ten (10) competency standards as abilities expected by pharmacists when graduating and entering professional work practices. As a preparation and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice is carried out at Kimia Farma Pharmacy no. 284, PBF PT SamMarie Tramedifa and PT Medifarma Laboratories for the period January-April 2019. During PKPA it is expected that pharmacist candidates can broaden their horizons , understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

"Apoteker memiliki peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Salah satu hal penting yang perlu dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam bidang praktik kefarmasian. Oleh karena itu, calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani praktik profesi sebagai bekal untuk memahami peran apoteker, serta meningkatkan kemampuan sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT SamMarie Tramedifa periode Januari 2022, PT Mahakam Beta Farma periode Maret – April 2022, dan Apotek Kimia Farma periode Mei 2022. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi, pedagang besar farmasi, dan apotek tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh pengalaman, pengetahuan, wawasan, dan keterampilan yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

The pharmacists have important role in pharmacy practice. One of important things that must be done to become a professional pharmacist is participate directly in the field of pharmacy practice. Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice as a provision and experience to understand the role of pharmacists, and improve their abilities before entering the world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is held at PT SamMarie Tramedifa in January 2022, PT Mahakam Beta Farma in March – April 2022, and Apotek Kimia Farma in May 2022. Through the activities in the pharmaceutical industry, wholesale pharmaceutical distributor, and pharmacy, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to get appropriate experience, knowledge, insight, and skills to perform pharmaceutical practice."

"Apotek, Pemerintahan, dan Industri Farmasi merupakan salah satu sarana pelayanan kesehatan tempat dilaksanakannya praktik kefarmasian oleh Apoteker. Praktik kefarmasian merupakan suatu pekerjaan yang dilakukan oleh tenaga kefarmasian meliputi pembuatan termasuk pengendalian mutu sediaan farmasi, pengamanan, pengadaan, penyimpanan, dan pendistribusian atau penyaluran obat, pengelolaan obat, pelayanan obat atas resep, pelayanan informasi obat, serta pengembangan obat, bahan obat dan obat tradisional. Seorang Apoteker harus mampu melaksanakan pekerjaan kefarmasian baik bersifat manajerial hingga praktik pelayanan kefarmasian yang menjamin keselamatan dan kesehatan pasien yang dilayaninya. Untuk mencapai peran tersebut, seorang calon Apoteker perlu memperoleh pengalaman praktis dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan kefarmasian di Apotek, Pemerintahan, dan Industri Farmasi secara nyata. Oleh karena itu, penulis melakukan kegiatan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di Apotek Kimia Farma no. 202 Depok, Suku Dinas Kesehatan Kota Administrasi Jakarta Selatan, dan PT. Guardian Pharmatama pada periode Januari-April 2019. Praktik kerja ini diharapkan dapat memberikan pengetahuan praktis dan pengalaman kerja dengan terlibat langsung dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian.

Pharmacy, Government, and the Pharmaceutical Industry is one of the health service facilities where pharmacy practices are carried out by pharmacists. Pharmaceutical practice is a work carried out by pharmaceutical personnel including manufacturing including quality control of pharmaceutical preparations, security, procurement, storage, and distribution or distribution of drugs, drug management, prescription drug services, drug information services, and drug development, drug and drug ingredients traditional. A Pharmacist must be able to carry out pharmaceutical work both managerial to the practice of pharmaceutical services that ensures the safety and health of the patients he serves. To achieve this role, a Pharmacist candidate needs to gain practical experience in carrying out pharmacy work in the Pharmacy, Government and the Pharmaceutical Industry. Therefore, the authors carry out the Pharmacist Professional Work Practices (PKPA) at Kimia Farma Pharmacy no. 202 Depok, South Jakarta Urban Health Service Office, and PT. Guardian Pharmatama in the period January-April 2019. This work practice is expected to provide practical knowledge and work experience by directly involved in pharmaceutical work."

Pharmacists have an important role as one of the healthcare professional. Pharmacists must comply with the competency standards before get into the professional practices. Therefore, in order to get experiences working as a healthcare professional, the Pharmacists Internship Program that called as Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) have been implemented. The prospective pharmacists get to do the internship at several places, such as PT SamMarie Tramedifa, Apotek Kimia Farma No. 510 Lenteng Agung, and PT Aventis Pharma. The prospective pharmacists are expected to get more knowledge and experiences to do the pharmaceutical practices in various places during the PKPA."

Selama PKPA, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memperluas wawasan, pemahaman, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di tempat praktik kerja profesi.

Pharmacists play important roles in pharmacy, pharmaceutical industry, and pharmaceutical distributor or wholesaler. As a requirement to enter practical working environment, a graduated pharmacist must fulfil the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Standards (Standar Kompetensi Apoteker Indonesia) which consisted of ten competency standards. Internships at PT SamMarie Tramedifa, Apotek Atrika, and PT Soho Industri Pharmasi were done to provide practical working experiences for pharmacist candidates so they can gain a better understanding of what their roles are and enhance their competencies. During the internship period from February to August 2020, pharmacist candidates were expected to expand their knowledge and continually update their skills as required to enable them to perform pharmaceutical profession at the mentioned workplaces.
