Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of ten (10) competency standards as abilities expected by pharmacists when graduating and entering professional work practices. As a preparation and experience of prospective pharmacists to be able to understand the role of pharmacists and improve competence, the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice is carried out at City Health Department South Jakarta Period January 2019. During PKPA it is expected that pharmacist candidates can broaden their horizons, understanding, and experience to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

Sandoz Indonesia, Apotek Prima Sehat, and The East Jakarta Administration City Health Office during the January-April 2019 period. During internship, it is hoped that prospective pharmacists can broaden their horizons, understandings and experiences to do pharmaceutical work in professional workplaces."

"Profesi apoteker mempunyai peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Oleh karena itu, calon apoteker dituntut untuk menjalani praktik profesi sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di PT Aventis Pharma periode Januari – Maret 2022 dan Apotek Kimia Farma Senen periode April 2022. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi dan apotek, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice as a provision and experience to understand the role of pharmacists and increase competence before entering the world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is held at PT Aventis Pharma for the period January – March 2021 and Apotek Kimia Frama for the April 2021 period. Through the activities in the pharmaceutical industry, and pharmacy, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to obtain appropriate insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to perform pharmaceutical practice."

"Apoteker dalam industri farmasi memegang peranan penting agar obat yang dihasilkan bermutu, aman, dan berkhasiat. Kedudukan Apoteker yang diatur dalam CPOB yaitu sebagai penanggung jawab produksi, pengawasan mutu, dan pemastian mutu.. Calon apoteker wajib mengikuti praktik kerja profesi secara langsung di industri farmasi dan mengetahui gambaran umum mengenai permasalahan kefarmasian di industri farmasi. Tugas khusus yang diberikan berupa kualifikasi equipment. Tujuan dari tugas khusus ini adalah memahami proses kualifikasi serta tahapan pembuatan dokumen yang dibutuhkan selama proses kualifikasi berlangsung.

Prospective pharmacists are required to follow professional work practices directly in the pharmaceutical industry and know an overview of pharmaceutical problems in the pharmaceutical industry. The special task given is equipment qualification. The purpose of this specific task is to understand the qualification process and the stages of document preparation needed during the qualification process."

"Salah satu peran seorang apoteker adalah sebagai life-long learner, sehingga penting bagi seorang apoteker untuk terus meningkatkan pemahaman dan kompetensinya di dunia farmasi. Bagi seorang calon apoteker, satu cara untuk meningkatkan hal tersebut adalah dengan melakukan Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA). Bidang yang dipraktikkan oleh calon apoteker Universitas Indonesia pada saat PKPA di antaranya adalah apotek serta industri (Pabrik dan/atau Distributor) atau klinis (RS atau Puskesmas). Pada Laporan PKPA ini dapat dipelajari dan juga diterapkan terkait konsep Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), terutama mengenai validasi pembersihan sebagai tugas khusus PKPA di Industri (PT Takeda Indonesia), yang dilaksanakan selama 3 bulan, dari Januari – Maret 2021. Selain itu juga, dapat dipelajari dan juga diterapkan terkait pelayanan farmasi seperti pengkajian resep, menyiapkan obat, pelayanan informasi obat (PIO), konseling dan bahkan cara membuat rancangan kerjasama untuk pengobatan rujuk balik (PRB) sebagai tugas khusus PKPA di Apotek (Apotek Atrika), yang dilaksanakan selama 1 bulan, dari Maret – April 2021. PKPA ini dilakukan dengan harapan calon apoteker mampu mengemban tanggung jawab dalam melaksanakan tugasnya di bidang apapun yang akan ditempuh olehnya nanti, baik itu merupakan bidung apotek, bidang industri ataupun bidang klinis.

One of a pharmacist’s roles is being a life-long learner, so it is important to continuously upgrade their knowledge and competency within the field. For an upcoming pharmacist, one of the ways to upgrade them is by doing Pharmacist Field Practice (PKPA). The sector that will be practiced by the upcoming pharmacist of Universitas Indonesia during PKPA are either from practice in pharmacy, industrial (Manufacturer and/or Distributor) or clinical (Hospital or Puskesmas). In this report, we can learn and implement concepts of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), especially regarding cleaning validation as the specific task in the industrial PKPA (PT Takeda Indonesia), implemented for 3 months, from January – March 2021. Aside from that, we can also learn and implement concepts of pharmaceutical services such as recipe screening, drug preparation, drug information service (PIO), counselling, and how to plan a referral treatment as the specific task for the PKPA in pharmacy (Apotek Atrika) implemented for 1 month, from March – April 2021. The field practice is conducted in hopes that upcoming pharmacists will be able to uphold their responsibilities and tasks in any sector, be it pharmacy, industrial or even clinical."
