"Classifying accident information into a specific categories provides inspectors with data needed for accident analysis and subsequent decision-making. This research proposes development of a database for accident analysis prevention. It will also presents a template and accident database focusing on fatal electrocutions and falls in the construction industry. Data has been stored in MySQL database, and a program editor has been employed to customize the program for accident analysis. An accident analysis form connected to the database has been developed, along with an accident report in qualitative format and meaningful categories to provide analyzable data. The program can be used as soon as an inspector finishes preparing an accident report; accessing the database minimizes the lead time for translating qualitative reports into analyzable data, so that the Council for Labor Affairs, corporate personel, and inspectors can have real time information about accident trends and patterns for the prevention of repetitive accidents."

"The development of the construction industry in Indonesia has been substantially contributing to the enhancement of the social and economic development of the people. However, its expansion has also become an issue, as the development might be implicated in the abuse of environmental sustainability when the practices of conducting the construction project abandon the rules and regulations of sustainable green construction concepts. Therefore, this study attempted to introduce a quantitative assessment tool called the Green Construction Site Index (GCSI) to evaluate the performance of an ongoing project to meet the sustainable green construction concept. The aim of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of GCSI as a quantitative assessment tool to measure the implementation of the green construction concept conducted by ongoing projects. Data were collected by onsite direct observation, interviews with key personnel, and project documentation review. Data were organized and analyzed using descriptive elaboration. The results showed that three aspects, the Efficiency Index (IE), Productivity Index (IP), and Awareness Index (IA), were effective in assessing 10 ongoing construction projects, categorized as Non-Commercial Non-Residential Building, Commercial Residential Building, and Commercial Non-Residential Building. The index generated using GCSI, upon assessing 10 buildings, was 3.39 and fell into the Good category with IE = 3.51, IP = of 2.86, and IA = 3.84. Another finding shows that the Project Organizational Commitment Index (POCI) to the indicator of the GCSI was 3.31 (Good category) with IPOL = 3.36, IPRO = 3.49, and IPRAC = 2.75. The capability of the GCSI to identify three aspects within a construction project simultaneously and comprehensively suggests the importance of its function as an effective tool that gives benefits to not only the contactors, but also to the authorities that control the green construction–related performance. Therefore, the GCSI is expected to be applied as a standardized reference by both the construction industries and regulating authorities. Despite its satisfactory findings, the GCSI needs to be furthered to achieve its reliability and validity to be adopted internationally."

Accident information should be classified into specific categories thus it can be used for accident analysis and referred to an inspector for a decision on what action to take. This research purposed to develop a database and program for possible accident analysis and prevention. This thesis will present a template and accident database focus on fatal electrocution and fatal falls in construction Industries. Database of accident will be input and stored in My SQL and Dreamweaver 8 will be used as an editor to customize the program for accident analysis.
Result of this program is accident analysis form which connect to database, thus accident report in qualitative format is coded into meaningful categories and analyzable data as soon as an inspector finish preparing the accident report. The database can minimize the lead time for translating qualitative report into analyzable data so that council of labor affair and inspectors can have real time information on the accident trend and patterns for the prevention of repetitive accident.

"This text provides a balance of theory, technique and facilitation. The emphasis is on providing a practical and proven framework for risk management on real projects with a clear, concise description of the complex topic of risk for professionals. Written by two experts in the field, it offers a practical, proven means of quantifying and minimizing risk, to inform business decisions in the design and construction field. Case studies and examples on the proper application of software and principles help make this book an important reference to the field"-- Provided by publisher.
"The book presents an integrated approach to cost and schedule for qualitative risk analysis. This approach recognizes the value of considering the project schedule when cost is estimated. The approach was created and developed at the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT). The authors have expanded the scope of the process to cover any type of construction, and have provided two case studies developed throughout the book presenting the process in use on an instutional construction project and a heavy civil construction job"

"The construction industry has a vast impact on the environment and the economy. Construction project performance requires a focus on increasing the resource efficiency and reducing the impact on the environment during the construction lifecycle. This on-going research is addressed towards the need of improving construction project performance by creating added-value for building projects using quality management (QM) and value management (VM) approaches. This research employs a quantitative approach through a questionnaire survey distributed to construction industry stakeholders. The questionnaire consists of three parts of discussion including identification of critical success factors and barriers that exist typically at each construction stage in building projects, plus identification of additional functions in building projects, and total investment cost for building projects. As the significant findings indicate, this research evaluates how the understanding of quality and its perceived processes plus how the identification of additional functions can be applied to deliver efficiency and more added-value in building construction projects e.g. Energy Efficient Buildings."

Along with Indonesia's economic growth increased in line which held by largescale construction projects , the bigger of scale of the project will increase the complexity of work, with the result of project construction loaded with a variety of risk changes that allow for conflict, to avoid disputes over the conflict because the change, it is important for contractors to make a claim under the measures determined in accordance with the conditions of the contract. The improvement claims process in this research is the development of administrative systems and documentations claim in construction project.
The method used is a case study of handling claims on construction projects at PT X by analyze domain factors claim on construction project which got from previous research and international journals. The factors will be analyzed using Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) method to obtain the relationship between these factors, so the result is a proces model every claim indicator the results of the analysis ISM in the form of a flowchart between each of the variables of each indicator, among others: identification of claims, claims planning, presentation of claims, claims administration and claims documentation, developed into Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Claims in PT X that help contractors in claims submission,in other their claim can be accepted by owner.
