"ABSTRAK
Pekerjaan engineering memiliki tingkat pengaruh yang paling tinggi pada proyek. Proses dalam fase engineering (desain rekayasa) dilakukan dengan pendekatan beberapa tahap, dimulai dari tahap konseptual, pengembangan desain sampai detail engineering. Kesalahan desain, minimnya informasi, minimnya pengalaman engineer (perekayasa), dan tidak adanya manajemen yang baik dalam penegelolaan proyek merupakan sebagian permasalahan yang muncul dalam proyek engineering yang dapat membuat keterlambatan suatu proyek. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk Mengidentifikasi proses manajemen proyek engineering eksisting dan faktor risiko pada setiap aktivtias proses. Selanjutnya adalah mengembangkan proses manajemen proyek engineering berbasis PMBOK untuk meningkatkan sasaran kinerja waktu. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis risiko kualitatif untuk menentukan risiko tertinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, terdapat 11 level risiko yang tinggi dan berpengaruh, yang kemudian ditindaklanjuti. Adapun hasil penelitian yaitu pengembangan pada struktur organisasi, RACI, bagan alir aktifitas, dan checklist item.

ABSTRACT
Engineering has the highest influence on the project. Engineering phase contain by several stages, start by conceptual stage, basic engineering, design development to detail engineering. Wrong design, lack of information, lack of engineer experience, and improper project management are some of problems that arise in engineering project that could delay a project. Therefore, this research aims to identify the existing project management process in engineering and risk factors on each process activities. Afterwards to develop engineering project management process based on PMBOK to improve time performance. The method of this research used a qualitative risk analysis to determine the highest risk. Based on the results of the analysis, there are 11 high and influential risk levels, which are need to respons. The results are the development of organizational structure, RACI, flow chart activities, and checklist items."
