This article is going to examine environmental justice in Pongkor gold mining area using PETI study. PETI is considered disadvantageous for the environment. PETI is also considered as a polemic for both the local communities and the miners, as they have lack of knowledge in environmentally friendly mining techniques. The analysis shows that PETI Pongkor mine as action (1) may violate existing environmental regulations; (2) has identified as environmentally harmful; and (3) the act is done by human, so loss environmental justice. Because basically, environmental justice ensure that environment is free from degradation, have the equality of rights that every individual has to utilize th environment, and give protection from various threats."

This study examines that environmental damage in the Kendeng Mountains Karst Area involves cooperation between corporations and the state. State-corporate crime refers to the interaction between the government and corporations in the form of policies that can benefit each other. Through systematic literature review and content analysis methods, this study identifies several patterns of interaction that occur between the government and corporations, namely 1) corporate initiatives in manipulating AMDAL, 2) Ignoring the right to information of affected residents, 3) Intimidation, 4) Issuance of urgent environmental permits. These patterns were each carried out to launch the fantastic business expansion of cement companies. At the same time, this study found that the massive expansion also had a wide impact on the environment. Drawing on the perspective of green criminology, the analysis shows that environmental crimes are not limited to what is prohibited by formal law. Rather, environmental crimes can also occur in actions that are permitted by formal law."

This paper discusses the issue of coal mining in East Kalimantan as an environmental crime issue. This paper uses three analytical fields from the perspective of green criminology, namely, ecological justice, species justice, and environmental justice. The data collected in this paper comes from data belonging to Jaringan Advokasi Tambang Kalimantan Timur and several other online sources in the last 10 years. The results show that coal mining causes its own damage to the environment such as holes from former coal mines, floods, river pollution, lack of Green Open Space and affects the habitat of certain species. The issue of coal mining is also not only related to environmental issues, but also related to other social issues."
