"Mae Teang District is home to many tributaries of the Ping River. Each tributary is associated with different geographical characteristics and uses. This study is the first report on benthic diatom diversity in the designated water bodies and the first comparison of benthic diatom distribution in the Ping River and its tributaries, including the Mae Hao and Mae Luang Streams in Mae Taeng District of Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. The benthic diatom distribution and physico-chemical properties were investigated in August and November 2015 at three locations in each water body. The highest abundance of benthic diatoms was found in the Ping River (143 species), followed by Mae Hao (132 species) and Mae Luang Streams (90 species). The most abundant species found in the Ping River were Planothidium lanceolatum, Nitzschia palea, Navicula cryptotenella and Seminavis strigosa. The most abundant species found in the Mae Hao Stream were Nitzschia palea, Seminavis strigosa, Surirella splendida and Sellaphora pupula. The most abundant species found in the Mae Luang Stream were Navicula cryptotenella, Diadesmis contenta, Karayevia oblongella and Achnanthes brevipes. Additionally, Amphipleura lindheimeri Grunow was identified as a newly recorded species for Thailand. This study revealed that the Ping River and Mae Hao Stream are similar bodies of water when compared with the Mae Luang Stream in terms of benthic diatom diversity and water quality. In addition, indicator species of tolerance and sensitivity to organic pollution were found. In conclusion, the areas of utilization were found to have affected the distribution of benthic diatoms in these water bodies, along with the water quality of the Ping River and its tributaries."

"Dilakukan penelitian mengenai Dinoflagellata bentik penyebab Ciguatera Fish Poisoning (CFP) di Taman Wisata Perairan (TWP) Gili Matra, Lombok Utara, dari tanggal 10 sampai 15 Oktober 2022. Penelitian bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan antara kelimpahan Dinoflagellata di antara substrat hidup yaitu lamun dan substrat mati yaitu karang mati serta melihat hubungannya dengan parameter lingkungan dan lokasi. Substrat Dinoflagellata yaitu lamun dan karang mati dikumpulkan berdasarkan 6 stasiun yang berbeda. Sampel kemudian dikocok dengan konsisten selama 1 menit sehingga Dinoflagellata bentik yang tertempel dapat lepas. Kemudian dilakukan penyaringan bertingkat sehingga hanya tersisa Dinoflagellata saja dan substrat diukur luas permukaannya. Pencacahan dilakukan menggunakan mikroskop dan perhitungan dilakukan menggunakan Sedgewick Rafter. Setelah itu, hasil penemuan diidentifikasi dan dihitung kelimpahannya menggunakan rumus kelimpahan. Faktor lingkungan di analisis dengan menggunakan metode Analisis Komponen Utama (AKU). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan keberadaan 3 genus Dinoflagellata penyebab CFP yaitu Coolia, Ostreopsis dan Prorocentrum. Kelimpahan terbanyak dapat ditemukan di Gili Air dengan jumlah total 124 sel/cm2. Selain dari itu, Prorocentrum memiliki kelimpahan terbanyak di antara semua stasiun dengan jumlah total 105 sel/cm2 dan substrat lamun memiliki kelimpahan terbanyak dengan 137 sel/cm2. Berdasarkan AKU dan analisis kelimpahan, ditemukan jika Prorocentrum dan Coolia paling melimpah di stasiun Gili Air Lamun yang dikelompokkan dengan Gili Air Karang dan variabel nitrit, DO, suhu dan TSS. Sementara, Ostreopsis ditemukan paling melimpah di Gili Trawangan Karang yang dikelompokkan dengan Gili Trawangan Lamun dan variabel fosfat. Namun, pengelompokkan tersebut tidak menjelaskan rendahnya kelimpahan pada Gili Meno dimana parameter linngkungannya dalam batas normal dan bahkan mendukung pertumbuhan Dinoflagellata. Sehingga kelimpahan Dinoflagellata bentik penyebab CFP tidak begitu dipengaruhi parameter lingkungan, melainkan lebih dipengaruhi oleh substrat dan lokasi.

Research was done on Benthic Dinoflagellates causing Ciguatera Fish Poisoning (CFP) in Gili Matra, North Lombok, on the 10th-15th of October 2022. The main goal of the research was to see the relationship between Dinoflagellate abundance, seagrass as a natural substrate, dead coral as a non-natural substrate, environmental parameters, and location. The substrates used in this research were collected based on 6 different stations. The obtained substrate is then shaken inside a bottle so that the Dinoflagellates can detach. Then, a filter is used to capture the Dinoflagellates and remove any unwanted debris. The substrate is also kept so that surface area can be measured. Further inspection is done under the microscope using a Sedgewick Rafter while counting and identifying the Dinoflagellates seen. The result is then converted into abundance using data from the corresponding substrate’s surface area. Principal Component Analysis (PCA) is then done to find the relationship between environmental parameters and substrate. 3 genus of CFP causing Dinoflagellates were found (Coolia, Ostreopsis, and Prorocentrum). The most abundant station can be found in Gili Air with a total of 124 cells/cm2. The genus Prorocentrum is the most abundant in all stations with a total of 105 cells/cm2 and seagrass has more abundance than dead coral with a total of 137 cells/cm2. Based on the PCA analysis and the abundance data, Prorocentrum and Coolia were found most abundant in the station Gili Air Lamun which is grouped with Gili Air Karang and the variables nitrate, DO, temperature, and TSS. Ostreopsis was found to be the most abundant in Gili Trawangan Karang which is grouped with Gili Trawangan Lamun and the variable phosphate. However, the groupings do not explain the low abundance found in Gili Meno even though the grouped environmental factors were normal and even advantageous on promoting Dinoflagellate growth. Therefore, based on analysis, the abundance of benthic Dinoflagellates causing CFP is more based on location and substrate instead of environmental parameters."

"Penutupan permukaan air menghalangi cahaya matahari yang masuk ke badan air sehingga mengganggu proses fotosintesis fitoplankton. Konsentrasi klorofil-a berpengaruh terhadap perubahan aktivitas fitoplankton yang akan mempengaruhi produktivitas primer. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk menganalisis pengaruh kedalaman terhadap produktivitas primer fitoplankton dan klorofil-a serta korelasi antar keduanya pada kondisi dengan dan tanpa adanya penutupan permukaan air. Penelitian dilakukan di Solar Panel Terapung (SPT) Danau Mahoni UI. Sampel diambil pada kedalaman 30 cm dan 60 cm pada kondisi tertutup dan kondisi terbuka. Analisis data dilakukan dengan menggunakan regresi, uji parametrik independent t test, uji korelasi Pearson dan Spearman Rho. Berdasarkan nilai rata-rata, menunjukan bahwa kedalaman air memberikan pengaruh terhadap kedua parameter. Namun, berdasarkan uji independent t test didapatkan nilai sig. (2-tailed) >0,05 bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan nilai produktivitas primer dan konsentrasi klorofil-a yang berarti antara kedalaman 30 cm dengan kedalaman 60 cm. Hubungan produktivitas dengan klorofil-a pada kondisi tertutup menghasilkan koefisien determinasi (R2 ) sebesar 0,8, sementara kondisi terbuka menghasilkan R 2 sebesar 0,088. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa korelasi produktivitas primer dengan klorofil-a lebih kuat pada kondisi tertutup. Keberadaan penutupan permukaan badan air berupa solar panel terapung memberikan pengaruh yang siginifikan terhadap penurunan nilai produktivitas primer dan klorofil-a.

The closure of the water surface blocks the sunlight that enters the water body so that it interferes with the photosynthetic process of phytoplankton. The concentration of chlorophyll-a affects changes in phytoplankton activity which will affect primary productivity.The purpose of the study was to analyze the effect of depth on the primary productivity of phytoplankton and chlorophyll-a and the correlation between them in conditions with and without water surface cover. The research was conducted on the floating solar panel of Lake Mahoni UI. Samples were taken at a depth of 30 cm and 60 cm in closed and open conditions. Data analysis was performed using regression, parametric independent t test, Pearson and Spearman Rho correlation test. Based on the average value, it shows that the water depth has an effect on both parameters. However, based on the independent t test, the sig. value was obtained. (2-tailed) > 0.05 that there is no significant difference in the value of primary productivity and chlorophyll-a concentration between a depth of 30 cm and a depth of 60 cm. The relationship between productivity and chlorophyll-a in the closed condition resulted in a coefficient of determination (R2) of 0.8, while the open condition resulted in an R2 of 0.088. The results of the analysis showed that the correlation of primary productivity with chlorophyll-a was stronger in closed conditions. The existence of surface cover of water bodies in the form of floating solar panels has a significant effect on the decrease in the value of primary productivity and chlorophyll-a."

"Telah dilakukan penelitian Asosiasi Dinoflagellata Bentik dengan Diatom Bentik pada Substrat Lamun di Perairan Gili Matra, Lombok Utara pada Bulan Mei 2022. Penelitian dilakukan dengan mengambil 3 helai daun lamun Cymodocea rotundata pada setiap titik sampel, kemudian dilakukan pengocokan selama 1 menit dan penyaringan dengan saringan bertingkat (125 µm dan 20 µm). Dinoflagellata bentik yang ditemukan berjumlah 2 genera. Dua genera yang ditemukan tersebut berasosiasi sekunder dan dapat berpotensi menyebabkan ciguatera. Kelimpahan tertinggi terletak pada bagian barat Gili Meno (2200 sel/cm2), dan kelimpahan terendah terletak pada bagian selatan Gili Trawangan (1801 sel/cm2). Sedangkan Diatom bentik yang ditemukan berjumlah 14 genus. Kelimpahan tertinggi Diatom bentik terdapat di Gili Meno (91100 sel/cm2) dan terendah di Gili Trawangan (49128 sel/cm2). Correspondence Analysis (CA) menggunakan PAST versi 4.10 menunjukkan hubungan asosiasi Dinoflagellata bentik dengan Diatom bentik pada Grafik sumbu 1-2 yaitu genus Prorocentrum dengan Navicula, Prorocentrum dengan Nitzschia, Prorocentrum dengan Licmophora, dan Prorocentrum dengan Cocconeis di stasiun GT1, GM1, dan GM3. Sedangkan pada Grafik sumbu 1-3 terdapat asosiasi antara Ostreopsis, Prorocentrum, Thallasiothrix, Cocconeis, Striatella, Coscinodiscus, dan Rhizosolenia. Korelasi Spearman menunjukkan korelasi positif terjadi antara Ostreopsis dengan Thallassiothrix pada Gili Meno stasiun 2. Selain itu, Prorocentrum dengan Nitzschia, Prorocentrum dengan Licmophora, Prorocentrum dengan Grammatophora, Prorocentrum dengan Raphoneis, Prorocentrum dengan Thallasiosira pada Gili Meno stasiun 1,3 dan Gili Trawangan stasiun 1. Sedangkan korelasi negatif terjadi antara Ostreopsis dengan Nitzschia, Ostreopsis dengan Licmophora, dan Prorocentrum dengan Rhizosolenia.

The association of benthic dinoflagellates with benthic Diatoms on seagrass substrates in Gili Matra waters study was conducted in May 2022. The study is carried out by taking 3 leaf samples of Cymodocea rotundata seagrass at each sampling point, then followed by shaking for a minute and filtering with a stratified sieve (125 µm dan 20 µm). Benthic dinoflagellates were found in 2 genera. The benthic species found are in secondary association and have a potential to cause ciguatera. The highest abundance is located in the western part of Gili Meno (2200 cells/cm2), and the lowest abundance is located in the southern part of Gili Trawangan (1801 cells/cm2). On the other side, the benthic Diatoms were found in 14 genera. The highest abundance of benthic Diatoms is found in Gili Meno (91100 cells/cm2) and the lowest in Gili Trawangan (49128 cells/cm2). Correspondence Analysis (CA) using PAST version 4.10 shows the association relationship of benthic Dinoflagellates with Benthic Diatoms on the 1-2 axis graph, namely the genus Prorocentrum with Navicula, Prorocentrum with Nitzschia, Prorocentrum with Licmophora, and Prorocentrum with Cocconeis at GT1, GM1, and GM3 stations. While in the 1-3 axis graph there is an association between Ostreopsis, Prorocentrum, Thallasiothrix, Cocconeis, Striatella, Coscinodiscus, and Rhizosolenia. The Spearman correlation suggests a positive correlation occurred between Ostreopsis and Thallassiothrix at Gili Meno station 2. In addition, Prorocentrum with Nitzschia, Prorocentrum with Licmophora, Prorocentrum with Grammatophora, Prorocentrum with Raphoneis, Prorocentrum with Thallasiosira on Gili Meno station 1.3 and Gili Trawangan station 1. Meanwhile, a negative correlation occurred between Ostreopsis with Nitzschia, Ostreopsis with Licmophora, and Prorocentrum with Rhizosolenia."

"ABSTRAK
Phosphorus is an essential element for living organisms. However, an excess loading of phosphorus produces undesirable eutrophication in water bodies. However, different phosphorus species play different roles in the bioavailability and geochemical cycling of phosphorus in the water column. Few studies on the abundance and form of particulate phosphorus have been conducted in Thailand. This study investigated the abundance of particulate phosphorus, in both organic and inorganic forms, in the Mae Klong river, Thailand. The variation in abundance of particulate phosphorus and its form were examined. Low Total Particulate Phosphorus (TPP) concentrations were found upstream, with two TPP peaks at the MK7 and MK10 stations, which are located near urban areas. Within the TPP pool, Particulate Organic Phosphorus (POP) was the dominant form of particulate phosphorus at eight sampling stations, whereas Particulate Inorganic Phosphorus (PIP) was the dominant form at four sampling stations. The high proportion of POP in the TPP pool and strong relationship between TPP, POP, and chlorophyll a suggested that phytoplankton was a source of particulate phosphorus in the Mae Klong River. Our findings on the abundance and chemical speciation provide a better understanding of the cycle of this bioactive element and, will support the establishment of water management and regulation in the Mae Klong River."

"Studi tentang lembaga perwakilan baik lembaga perwakilan nasional atau Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat maupun lembaga perwakilan daerah atau Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah sudah banyak dilakukan, dengan tema dan judul yang beragam. Studi atau penelitian ini juga mengambil tema tentang Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah di Era Otonomi Daerah yang banyak memberikan berbagai kewenangan dan kekuasaan kepada daerah. Implikasi dari adanya UU No. 22/1999 tentang Pemerintahan Daerah salah satunya adalah bahwa DPRD menjadi sebuah lembaga yang punya kekuasaan yang cukup besar di daerah, sehingga seringkali dengan kekuasaannya DPRD dapat menjatuhkan seorang Bupati/Walikota bahkan Gubemur. Kekuasaan DPRD yang besar itu juga yang seringkali dipergunakan oleh DPRD untuk menekan eksekutif daerah dalam laporan pertanggungjawabannya, sehingga seringkali terjadi money politics, konflik-konflik antara eksekutif dan legislatif di daerah, bahkan kerapkali legislatif itu sendiri yang melakukan korupsi dan penyalahgunaan kekuasaan (abuse of power).
Studi ini bermula dari keinginan peneliti untuk mengkaji tentang perilaku atau dinamika politik yang terjadi di DPRD Jawa Barat, yang berbentuk konflik dan konsensus, balk konflik dan konsensus antar anggota DPRD, intra fraksi maupun antar fraksi dalam rangka penyelesaian dana kaveling. Tujuan Penelitian adalah untuk mengkaji proses atau dinamika politik yang terjadi di DPRD Jawa Barat, dan menganalisa konflik-konflik dan konsensus politik yang terjadi serta kepentingankepentingan yang dipunyal oleh partai politik dan anggota DPRD Jawa Barat dalam konflik-konflik dan konsensus politik yang terjadi di DPRD Jawa barat tentang penyelesaian kasus "dana kaveling"
Untuk menjelaskan konflik dan konsensus politik tentang penyelesaian dana kaveling, maka peneliti menggunakan kerangka teori tentang Konflik Politik dan Konsensus Politik. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Pendekatan Kualitatif. Tipe penelitian yang dipakai dalam penelitian ini adalah tipe penelitian deskriptif-analitis, dengan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu dengan menggunakan studi kepustakaan, wawancara mendalam (depth interview).
Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan melalui studi pustaka dan wawancara mendalam memperlihatkan bahwa konflik yang terjadi adalah antara anggota dan fraksi yang bersedia mengembalikan dana kaveling dengan anggota dari fraksi yang tidak bersedia mengembalikan dana. Sumber Konflik Politik yang terjadi di DPRD Jawa Barat dalam penyelesaian dana kaveling adalah karena adanya perbedaan nilai-nilai moralitas antar anggota DPRD, adanya kepentingan-kepentingan yang dipunyai oleh masing-masing anggota dan fraksi-fraksi di DPRD Jawa Barat terutama kepentingan politik dalam rangka menghadapi pemilihan umum 2004 serta juga karena kepentingan ekonomi untuk mendapatkan dana/uang untuk kepentingan kesejahteraan anggota DPRD Jawa Barat.
Konflik politik tersebut memang tidak menjadi berlarut-larut dan dapat diselesaikan melalui kompromi diantara fihak-fihak yang terlibat dalam konflik sehingga melahirkan konsensus di antara mereka untuk tidak mengembalikan dana kaveling kepada pemerintah propinsi Jawa Barat, dan mereka lebih memilih penyelesaian kasus ini melalui mekanisme hukum bukan mekanisme politik. Mereka atau anggota dan fraksi yang menolak untuk mengembalikan dana kaveling beralasan bahwa proses pemberian dana kaveling sudah sesuai dengan prosedur dan tata tertib DPRD, serta sudah merupakan kesepakatan antara eksekutif (Gubernur Jawa Barat R. Nuriana) dengan legislatif (yang diwakili oleh Pimpinan DPRD dan para Ketua Fraksi), yang kemudian dianggarkan dalam APBD Jawa Barat tahun 2000, 2001 dan 2002.
Model konsensus yang dilakukan adalah model dimana ada kesepakatan pendapat antara berbagai fihak yang terlibat konflik, serta model dimana ada kesepakatan diantara mereka tetapi dengan model adanya dominasi pendapat dan keputusan yang dilakukan oleh fraksi-fraksi dengan jumlah anggota yang lebih banyak seperti FPDIP, FPartai Golkar serta FPPP. Dominasi pendapat dan keputusan yang melandasi konsensus itu adalah bahwa ada kesamaan kepentingan diantara mereka yaitu kepentingan ekonomi (dana tersebut diperuntukan bagi kesejahteraan anggota DPRD), kepentingan politik untuk menghindari citra buruk anggota DPRD (menghindari sebutan "politisi busuk" dari masyarakat), serta dalam kerangka lebih luas adalah untuk kepentingan politik dalam menghadapi pemilu 2004.

Conflict And Consensus In Region Legislative Institution Study Of Conclusion Case "Dana Kaveling" In DPRD West Java ProvinceStudy about representative institution in nationally or regionally have many already done, with variety of theme and title. This study or research also takes the theme about region of house of representative (DPRD) in region autonomy era which gives many authorities in each region. Implication from constitution No. 2211999 about region government that one include about region of house of representative (DPRD) becomes an institution that have big authority in it's region. Being that oftenly governor or major can be fell by DPRD. The big authority of DPRD. oftenly used for pressing region executive in responsible report, then money politics it could be happened. Unfortunately legislative itself which makes corruption or abuse of power?
This study began from researcher intend to be studying about conflicts and consensus of politics behavior that happened in West-Java DPRD. Conflicts and consensus which researched in this study focused in West-Java DPRD. It takes a place between individual (member of DPRD), infra fraksi, inter fraksi to find conclusion about "Kaveling Fund". The aim of research to know about conflict and consensus that happens in West-Java DPRD, and analyzing about interest of political party which settled in DPRD about conclusion of "Kaveling Fund" case.
Explaining conflict and consensus politic about conclusion of "Kaveling Fund", researcher using basic theory of political conflict and political consensus approaching that used in this research is qualitative. Type of research that used is "descriptive-anilities". with data technique by bibliography, also using depth interview.
Result from the research shows that conflict that happen is between individuals in DPRD who wants to get back Kaveling Fund and some of them who don't want to give back the find. The source of conflict caused there are many factors gradually the different of moral from the individuals besides there are interest of political intend from each person in fraksi. Mainly to face the national election 2004, and economy factors to individual prosperity in DPRD.
The political conflict can be "finished" by compromise between the individuals who involved until take the consensus to "keep" the Kaveling Fund. They prefer to choose the solve of case through the law mechanism not political mechanism. The people in DPRD who refuse to give back the fund had a reason that Kaveling Fund had been following the procedure of DPRD and following the agreement between the executive and legislative, later it's estimated budget in West Java APBD on 200, 2001, 2002.
Type of consensus is agreement between each side who is involved in conflict, or agreement that comes from the majority argument which usually come from big fraksi like FPDIP, FPartai Golkar and FPPP. Base the agreement caused there are same interested among them economically (prosperity fund for each member), to avoid bad image from each member of DPRD. (Avoid "Politisi Busuk" from society). More widely the consensus is taken to get the interest of political to face national election 2004.

"The groundwater problem at Mae Moh mine has drawn attention as the mining excavation goes
deeper, thus resulting in detailed investigation of hydrogeological condition. One of the problems
facing the mining is floor heave influenced by groundwater. The control of groundwater pressure in
deep-seated aquifers with high elevation becomes important in the mining. In addition, the
underground water at Mae Moh mine is naturally contaminated by arsenic. Therefore, the
developments of 3D groundwater model of deep pit mine using Modflow simulation and the
studies of underground water treatment are needed for the future planning. The predictive
simulations were carried out for eight years (2007 to 2015). Because stability of the Mae Moh mine
shows how can be closely linked to the water environment, this paper aims to report the field Visits
to the water related facilities of the mine, which were conducted during 2010-2013. The result
reveals that the potentiometric head level is strongly increased, which might be a potential risk for
the floor heave; thus, depressurization is required. Field measurements reveal pH level at 8 and a
range of total dissolved solid (TDS) at 870-2020 ppm. Treatment efficiency shows that more than
95% of the arsenic can be successfully removed using ferric chloride."
