"Profesi apoteker mempunyai peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian. Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Maka dari itu, calon apoteker dituntut untukmenjalani prktik profesi sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Atrika pada Periode Juli 2021, PT Pharos Indonesia periode Oktober –November 2021, PT SamMarie Tramedifa periode Desember 2021. Melalui proses PKPA di industri farmasi, pedagang besar farmasi, dan apotek tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman yang sesuai untukmelakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian.

The pharmacist profession has an important role in pharmacy work. One of the important things that must be done to become a professional pharmacist is to participate directly in the practice of pharmacy. Therefore, prospective pharmacists are required to undergo professional practice as a provision and experience to understand the role of pharmacists and increase competence before entering the world of work. Pharmacist Professional Work Practices will be held at Apotek Atrika in the period of July 2021, PT Pharos Indonesia for the period of October – November 2021, PT SamMarie Tramedifa for the period December 2021. Through the PKPA process in the pharmaceutical industry, pharmaceutical wholesalers, and pharmacies, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to gain insight, knowledge, skills, and experience suitable for do pharmaceutical work."

"Praktik kerja profesi apoteker adalah suatu kegiatan yang dilakukan di akhir perkuliahan profesi apoteker yang menunjang mahasiswa untuk terjun ke dalam dunia kerja yang sebenarnya. Dalam kegiatan ini, calon apoteker (mahasiswa) mendapat gambaran langsung mengenai apa saja tugas dan kewajiban serta kegiatan-kegiatan lain yang dilakukan seorang apoteker di suatu instansi seperti industri farmasi, rumah sakit, puskesmas, perusahaan besar farmasi (PBF), serta apotek. Dalam suatu industri farmasi, apoteker dapat berperan pada departemen Quality Control, dimana apoteker bertugas menjamin bahan baku dan bahan pengemas yang digunakan dalam pembuatan sediaan farmasi aman, bermutu, dan memenuhi spesifikasi. Di apotek, seorang apoteker berperan sebagai pemberi pelayanan kesehatan seperti memberikan pelayanan informasi obat hingga konseling. Apoteker juga bertugas untuk memberikan edukasi mengenai swamedikasi kepada para pelanggan apotek. Tidak hanya pelayanan kesehatan saja, seorang apoteker di apotek juga memiliki peran managerial, mulai dari pengadaan obat hingga pemusnahan obat di apotek. Dalam suatu PBF, peranan apoteker adalah sebagai Apoteker Penanggung Jawab (APJ). Sebagai seorang APJ, apoteker memiliki kewajiban untuk memastikan seluruh kegiatan distribusi mengikuti peraturan Cara Distribusi Obat yang Baik (CDOB). Selama praktik kerja di PBF PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari, selain mempelajari peranan seorang APJ, mahasiswa juga mendapat kesembatan untuk membuat suatu inovasi yang nantinya dapat diterapkan dalam distribusi obat dan alat kesehatan. Dari hasil praktik kerja ini, penulis dapat menyimpulkan bahwa kegiatan praktik kerja profesi apoteker ini sangat bermanfaat bagi mahasiswa, terutama seorang calon apoteker yang telah siap untuk memasuki dunia kerja. Penulis mendapat berbagai ilmu pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang menarik dari kegiatan praktik kerja ini.

Pharmaceutical Student Internship is a program carried out at the end of the pharmacist profession study that supports students to enter the real world of work. In this program, prospective pharmacists (students) will have a real experience of what are the duties and obligations of a pharmacist, as well as other activities carried out by a pharmacist in an institution such as the pharmaceutical industry, hospitals, health centres, the pharmaceutical distributors, and pharmacies. In the pharmaceutical industry, pharmacists have a role in the Quality Control department, where pharmacists are assigned with ensuring the safety of the raw materials and packaging materials used in the manufacture of pharmaceutical preparations are in quality and meet the specifications. In a pharmacy, a pharmacist acts as a provider of health services such as providing drug information services and counselling. Pharmacists are also responsible for providing education about self-medication to pharmacy customers. Not only health services, but a pharmacist in a pharmacy also has a managerial role, ranging from drug procurement to drug destruction at the pharmacy. In a pharmaceutical distributor, pharmacists must ensure that all distribution activities comply with Good Drug Distribution (GDB). During the internship at PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari (a pharmaceutical distributor), apart from studying the role of a pharmacist, students also had the opportunity to create an innovation that could later be applied in the distribution of drugs and medical devices. From the results of this internship, the author can conclude that this Pharmaceutical Student Internship program is very beneficial for students, especially a prospective pharmacist who is ready to enter the real work environment. The author got various knowledge and many interesting experiences from this internship program."

"Untuk memahami tanggung jawab dan peran sebagai Apoteker maka seorang calon Apoteker akan melakukan Praktik Kerja Profesi sekaligus mendapat gambaran yang lebih jelas mengenai dunia kerja yang selanjutnya akan dijalani oleh calon Apoteker setelah lulus. Apotek, Pedagang Besar Farmasi (PBF), dan Rumah Sakit adalah beberapa contoh tempat dimana profesi Apoteker dapat melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilakukan di Apotek Roxy Pademangan pada periode Januari 2021 dilanjutkan di Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Jakarta 3 pada periode Februari 2021 dan di Rumah Sakit yang berfokus pada pendidikan untuk lingkup Universitas Indonesia yaitu Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia pada periode Maret-Mei 2021. Dari pengalaman Praktik Kerja Profesi tersebut diharapkan menjadi salah satu bagian pembelajaran bagi calon Apoteker untuk mengembangkan pengetahuan, pengalam, serta keterampilan sebelum melakukan praktik kefarmasian setelah lulus.

Internship or professional work practice is to understand the responsibilities and roles of a pharmacist as a pharmacist candidate will carry out a professional work practices and at the same time get an overview of the work that they will face after graduating from Pharmacist Profession Program. Pharmacies, Pharmaceutical Wholesalers, and Hospitals are some examples of places where the Pharmacist profession can play a role in pharmacy practice. Pharmacist professional work practice were carried out at the Apotek Roxy Pademangan on January 2021 period, followed by Kimia Farma Trading & Distribution Jakarta 3 on February 2021 period and lastly at a hospital that focused on education for the scope of the University of Indonesia, Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia on March-May 2021 period. From the professional work practice experience in hopes that it will become a part of learning for prospective Pharmacists to develop knowledge, experience, and skills prior to practicing pharmacy after graduation.

"Dengan obat sebagai produknya, sebuah industri farmasi diharuskan untuk mengikuti Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) untuk memastikan keamanan pasien. Salah satu aspek pada CPOB adalah dokumentasi, yaitu bagian dari sistem manajemen informasi dan dokumentasi yang baik, serta penting diperhatikan dalam pemastian mutu. Proses dokumentasi bertujuan untuk memastikan tiap personil mendapatkan rincian pekerjaan yang jelas dan relevan untuk mengurangi misinterpretasi akibat komunikasi lisan. Implementasi dari aspek ini adalah catatan bets. Catatan bets yang lengkap dibutuhkan untuk memulai proses produksi sehingga beberapa faktor dapat memengaruhi waktu preparasinya dan berdampak terhadap proses produksi. Laporan ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor yang memengaruhi waktu preparasi catatan bets dan dampaknya terhadap proses produksi. Dilakukan studi literatur mengenai catatan bets dan sistem dokumentasi pada industri farmasi. Standar prosedur operasional (SPO) persuahaan mengenai pembuatan catatan bets utama, sistem dokumentasi, dan manajemen catatan bets dikaji. Dilakukan juga wawancara bersama staf pemastian mutu dan produksi mengenai proses preparasi catatan bets dan aspek produksi mana yang mungkin terdampak oleh preparasi catatan bets. Notifikasi pembuatan catatan bets dari sistem Oracle® kemudian dikumpulkan. Data yang terkumpul dilakukan analisis dan identifikasi terkait faktor yang berpengaruh. Diagram fishbone dibuat sebagai visualisasi. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa rentang waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk preparasi catatan bets adalah 1-8 hari. Beberapa aspek berperan dalam keterlambatan preparasi, seperti man (kurangnya tenaga kerja, kesalahan manusia), machine (kesalahan sistem dan proses printing), material (waktu tunggu dari material yang dibutuhkan, perubahan pada catatan bets utama), environment (kondisi penyimpanan catatan bets yang kurang baik), serta method (ketidakpatuhan terhadap SOP). Aspek-aspek ini berperan dalam keterlambatan pada proses produksi.

With drugs and medicines as its product, a pharmaceutical industry is required to comply with the national current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) to ensure patient safety. One of many aspects discussed in GMP is documentation, a part of information and document management system and paramount in quality assurance. Documentation process aims to ensure that each personnel receives a clear, detailed, and relevant job description to minimize misinterpretation due to verbal communication. An implementation of this aspect is batch record. A complete batch record is needed to commence the production process, thus several factors could affect its preparation time and in turn affect the production timeline. This report aims to analyze factors affecting batch record preparation time and its impact on the production process. Literature study about batch record and documentation system in pharmaceutical industry was conducted. The company’s existing standard operational procedure (SOP) about master batch record creation, documentation system, and batch record management were reviewed. A quality assurance (QA) and production staff were interviewed about the batch record preparation process and which production process might be affected by it, respectively. Batch record notification from the Oracle® system were collected. Several affecting factors were then identified and analyzed on their impact on the production process with a fishbone diagram as a visualization. Analysis results showed that the time interval needed for batch record preparation is 1-8 days. Several aspects contribute to preparation delay, which are man (lack of manpower, human error), machine (system and printing error), material (lead time of materials needed, changes in master batch record), environment (unfavorable storage conditions), and method (not following the applicable SOP). These aspects contribute to the delay in production process."

Sebagai Apoteker Pengelola Apotek (APA), diperlukan kompetensi yang memadai dalam pelaksanaan tanggung jawab profesi yang mencakup ilmu kefarmasian dan keterampilan wirausaha demi kemajuan dan eksistensi apotek yang dikelolanya. Apotek Atrika merupakan sarana apotek yang ideal sebagai tempat PKPA, karena telah mempunyai dan menerapkan sistem dalam pengelolaan kegiatan operasional apotek, yang mencakup sejumlah aspek teknis, yakni: perencanaan dan pengadaan barang yang efisien, penyimpanan dan penataan persediaan yang teratur, arus barang keluar dan masuk terdokumentasi, pelayanan berorientasi pasien, pengelolaan dan pengawasan keuangan dan administrasi memadai, serta kegiatan promosi yang sesuai dengan peraturan yang berlaku.

Tugas khusus praktik kerja di Apotek Kimia Farma adalah Evaluasi Kerasionalan Peresepan Obat Pada Pasien Diabetes Melitus di Apotek Kimia Farma 382 Depok. Tujuannya untuk mengetahui apakah obat yang diberikan sudah rasional atau belum agar dilakukan pengkajian ulang agar tidak terjadi kesalahan berulang.

Apothecary internship has the purpose of gaining knowledge, understanding and experience to do pharmacy practice as well as understanding the duties and function Apothecary in practice. Internship at Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia is given an assignment entilled Evaluation of Drug Use with ABC Method in Outpatient Pharmacy at Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia Period January - September 2021. The purpose is to know which drugs are classified as fast moving, slow moving and dead stock. Drugs are classified as slow moving need to be eliminated so it doesn’t become dead stock. Special assignment at PT Anugerah Pharmindo lestari is Digitizing the Quality Assurance Process: eQMS System Development Using Smartphone Application aims to overcome the problems felt by BRQA in order to simplify the work, shorten the time and minimize the occurrence of errors. Special assignment at Apotek Kimia Farma is Evaluation of Rational Prescribing in Diabetes Mellitus Patients at Apotek Kimia Farma 382 Depok. The purpose is to find out whether the drug given is rational or not so that a re-examination is carried out so that there are no repeated errors."

Tujuan dari tugas khusus tersebut adalah agar penulis memahami rangkaian proses kalibrasi thermo hygrometer yang merupakan alat pencatat suhu dan kelembaban ruangan dan alat transportasi yang sering digunakan di PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari. A pharmaceutical wholesaler is obligated to implement Good Distribution Practice GDP . GDP regulate various aspects to ensure product quality in distribution supply chain is maintained, since the products are sent by principal until they are received in the retailer or drug store to sell to the customer. One of the most important aspect in the GDP is personnel. In the pharmaceutical wholesaler, pharmacist has a role as pharmacist in charge of the pharmaceutical wholesaler that assigned to ensure product quality in the distribution supply chain is maintained and to report to the regulators Ministry of Health and Food and Drug Administration regularly. In this term, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari provides the opportunity to pharmacist candidates to do professional practices in order to obtain the knowledges, skills, insights, and professional experiences in the pharmaceutical wholesaler so the candidates can understand the implementation of GDP in the wholesaler and can implement it in the future. Not only do the professional practice, pharmacist candidate also do the special assignment in this session, that is calibration of thermo hygrometer. Apoteker dapat bekerja di industri farmasi, pelayanan (apotek, rumah sakit), pemerintahan, dan juga Pedagang Besar Farmasi (PBF). Praktik Kerja memberikan gambaran dan pengalaman di dunia kerja. Pengamatan secara langsung mengenai kegiatan yang ada di setiap departemen (Produksi, Quality Control, dan Quality Assurance) dilakukan pada praktik kerja di industri farmasi, Apoteker juga dilatih untuk menganalisis berbagai masalah yang terjadi dan mengidentifikasi penyelesaiannya. Pada praktik kerja di PBF, apoteker diperlihatkan secara garis besar mengenai pekerjaan yang ada di setiap departemen dan ditugaskan untuk membuat proyek inovasi. Pada praktik kerja di apotek, apoteker melakukan pelayanan kefarmasian. Apoteker ditugaskan untuk melakukan skrining resep, penyiapan resep, dan disertai dengan konseling ke pasien. Skrining resep dilakukan untuk mencegah atau meminimalisir terjadinya medication error.

Pharmacist is a profession in the field of health that has a very wide scope of work. Pharmacist can work in the pharmaceutical industry, health services (pharmacies, hospitals), government and also pharmaceutical distributor. Internship provide an overview and experience in the world of work. Direct observations about the activities in each department (Production, Quality Control, dan Quality Assurance) are occurred during internship at the pharmaceutical industry. Pharmacist also learnt how to analyze many problems that happened and have to identified the closure. During internship at the pharmaceutical distributors, pharmacist was shown every department’s responsibility in general and had to make an innovation project. During internship at pharmacy, pharmacists did any pharmaceutical services. Pharmacist had to do prescription screening, prescription services, which be given with counselling.
