"Sebagai agent of regional development, Bank Pembangunan Daerah (BPD) sudah seharusnya mampu mendorong percepatan pembangunan daerah setempat guna membantu perkembangan pembangunan nasional di Indonesia. Salah satu upaya BPD dalam membantu pembangunan daerah adalah dengan memanfaatkan tugas utamanya sebagai sebuah lembaga keuangan, yakni menyalurkan dana himpunan kepada masyarakat dalam bentuk kredit, terutama pada sektor produktif. As agent of regional development, Regional Development Banks should be able to stimulate the development of local area in order to increase national development in Indonesia. One thing that Regional Development can do in order to stimulate the regional development is maximize its main duty as financial institution, which has to distribute funds from third party in the form of credit, especially in productive sector. This research is focusing on the effect of non-oil and gas import, Gross Domestic Regional Product, and Own-Source Revenue, ROA, CAR, NPL, Third Party Funds, size, and interest rate toward credit and productive loan distribution of Regional Development Banks in Indonesia. The result shows that credit distribution is affected significantly by non-oil and gas import, Own-Source Revenue, CAR, NPL, size, and interest rate. Meanwhile, productive loan distribution is affected by Gross Domestic Regional Product, CAR, Third Party Funds, and size."

"Tesis ini membahas tentang risiko kredit yang dihadapi oleh produk kartu kredit syariah di Bank Z Syariah selama tahun 2010 hingga tahun 2012. Penelitian diawali dengan melakukan analisis deskriptif terlebih dahulu terhadap populasi dari seluruh pemegang kartu kredit Bank Z Syariah baik yang berstatus lancar maupun yang mengalami default. Analisis kemudian dilanjutkan dengan penggunaan metode CreditRisk+, dimana portofolio kartu kredit yang dimiliki Bank Z Syariah kemudian dibagi sesuai dengan eksposurnya ke dalam beberapa portofolio yang lebih kecil, yang disebut dengan band. Dilanjutkan dengan pengukuran mean default pada awal penelitian yang kemudian akan menunjukkan besarnya expected loss, unexpected loss, serta economic capital dari masing-masing band. Pada akhirnya hasil pengukuran ini akan dibandingkan dengan real loss yang dihadapi oleh produk kartu kredit Bank Z Syariah.

This study focuses on the measurement of credit risk which encountered by the sharia credit card product on Bank Z Syariah from year 2010 to 2013. This study started by performing descriptive analysis for the whole cardholders of Bank Z Syariah’s sharia credit card, whether their statuses are current or default. The analysis then continued with the use of CreditRisk+ method, which first step was splitting theIR whole sharia credit card portfolio into several bands based on their exposure. Measuring mean default of each band was the next step, then continued on calculating the amount of expected loss, unexpected loss, and economic capital. At the end of this study, the amount of expected loss, unexpected loss, and economic capital will be compared to the amount of real loss which encountered by Bank Z Syariah’s sharia credit card product."

"Pandemi Covid-19 telah mendisrupsi aktivitas global di semua sector. Sebagai upaya menekan penyebaran virus, pembatasan aktivitas berdampak pada merosotnya aktivitas ekonomi. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan likuiditas akibat keterbatasan kreditor, perbankan dapat meningkatkan non-core liabilities dari perbankan yang tidak leluasa menyalurkan kredit karena menurunnya permintaan kredit. Aktivitas ini meningkatkan interkonektivitas perbankan yang berasal dari neraca. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tren interkonektivitas perbankan selama pandemi Covid-19 dan pengaruhnya terhadap kontribusi risiko sistemik setiap individual bank di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan the generalized method-of-moments (GMM) estimator yang dikembangkan untuk dynamic models of panel data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya tren peningkatan interkonektivitas selama pandemi dan mendapatkan pengaruh positif dan signifikan interkonektivitas terhadap kontribusi risiko sistemik setiap individual bank pada periode sebelum pandemi Covid-19, sementara selama pandemi didapatkan pengaruh yang negatif. Temuan ini menyiratkan bahwa pengaruh interkonektivitas terhadap kontribusi risiko sistemik setiap individual bank bervariasi waktu dan ukuran bank memainkan peran penting dalam menentukan kontribusi risiko sistemik setiap individual bank.

The Covid-19 pandemic has disrupted global activity in all sectors. In an effort to minimize the the spread of the virus, restrictions on activities have led to a decline in economic activity. This has led some banks to meet their funding needs by increasing non-core liabilities. At the same time, other banking groups may no longer have the flexibility to extend credit due to less credit demand. This activity may increase banking interconnectedness from the balance sheet. This study aims to describes the trend of banking interconnectedness during the Covid-19 pandemic and its impact on the systemic risk contribution of the Indonesian banking industry. This study used the generalized method-of-moments (GMM) estimator developed for dynamic models of panel data. This study found an increasing trend in bank interconnectedness during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, this study also discovered a positive effect of bank interconnectedness on systemic risk contributions in the period before the Covid-19 pandemic, while a negative effect on systemic risk contributions was found during the pandemic. These findings imply that the effect of interconnectedness on the banking systemic risk contribution varies over time and the size of the bank plays an important role in determining the contribution of systemic risk."

"Penelitian ini membahas kemampuan model Nelson-Siegel mengestimasi credit spread obligasi korporasi dengan rating AAA, AA dan A di Indonesia. Hasil dari estimasi yield curve Nelson-Siegel digunakan sebagai penentu estimasi credit spread. Selanjutnya hasil estimasi dibandingkan dengan credit spread IBPA untuk melihat tingkat akurasi terhadap credit spread aktual di pasar. Proyeksi credit spread juga dilakukan dengan metode otoregresi pada data beta, yield dan credit spread hasil estimasi model Nelson-Siegel. Credit spread proyeksi ketiga variabel tersebut kemudian dibandingkan dengan credit spread aktual dan credit spread IBPA untuk menentukan metode proyeksi yang paling akurat. Estimasi dan proyeksi credit spread dapat berguna bagi investor dalam menghitung nilai wajar obligasi serta menentukan waktu yang tepat dalam berinvestasi pada obligasi korporasi yang memberikan yield lebih tinggi dari obligasi pemerintah.

This research discusses the Nelson-Siegel model capabilities to estimate the credit spread of corporate bonds with a rating of AAA, AA and A in Indonesia. The results of the yield curve estimated using the Nelson-Siegel models are used as a determinant of the estimated credit spread. Furthermore, the results compared with the credit spread estimated by IBPA to look at the accuracy toward the actual credit spread in the market. Credit spread projection is also performed using the autoregression in beta, yield and credit spread resulted from NelsonSiegel model estimation. Credit spreads projection of these three variables were then compared with the actual credit spread and IBPA credit spread to determine the most accurate projection method. Credit spread estimation and projection can be useful for investors in calculating the fair value of bonds and determining the right time to invest in corporate bonds that yielding higher than government bonds."

"Penelitian ini mencoba menjawab pertanyaan tentang apakah data trade credit termasuk data yang dikelola oleh biro kredit mengingat pentingnya peranan trade credit dalam perekonomian. Dalam menjawab pertanyaan tersebut, penelitian yuridis-normatif ini meninjau praktik-praktik biro kredit di beberapa negara di dunia, terutama dari segi kerangka hukum, untuk melihat tentang keberadaan pengelolaan data trade credit (utang dagang) oleh biro kredit di negara-negara tersebut. Selain tentang pengelolaan data trade credit, penelitian ini juga mempelajari ketentuan-ketentuan hukum yang memberikan perlindungan terhadap data kredit yang dikelola.Data trade credit ternyata adalah data yang telah dikelola oleh biro kredit di negara-negara tersebut. Mereka bahkan telah memasukkan unsur trade credit secara eksplisit dalam definisi kredit pada umumnya, tidak seperti definisi kredit di Indonesia yang hanya terbatas pada kredit oleh lembaga keuangan. Negara-negara tersebut juga memiliki kerangka hukum terhadap perlindungan data yang lebih komprehensif daripada yang ditemui di Indonesia. Penelitian ini juga mendapatkan beberapa pembelajaran dari negara-negara tersebut tentang struktur biro kredit yang dapat mengatasi kendala-kendala yang berpotensi muncul dalam pengelolaan informasi trade credit di Indonesia.

This research attempts to answer the question on whether trade credit is processed by credit bureaus, owing to the important role trade credit plays in the economy. In the quest for the answer, this legal-normative research looks at the practices of credit bureau in several countries in the world, especially at their legal and regulatory frameworks, to observe the existence of such trade credit processing by the credit bureaus in those countries. Aside from the trade credit processing, this research also learns about the various legal rules providing for the protection of the credit data processed by the credit bureaus.

The processing of trade credit is already part of the operation of the credit bureaus in those countries. They have also explicitly included the trade credit elements in their definition of credit, unlike the credit definition in Indonesia which is still largely limited to the credit by financial intermediaries. Those countries also employ more comprehensive legal frameworks of data protection than the one found in Indonesia. This research also benefits from some learning on the credit bureau structures in those countries, which can be used to address the constraints potentially arising in the trade credit processing in Indonesia."

"Penelitian ini menganalisis pengaruh kredit terhadap kesejahteraan rumah tangga yang dikepalai perempuan di Indonesia. Tesis ini menggunakan data Survei Sosial Ekonomi Nasional (SUSENAS) yang dilakukan pada tahun 2018, yang berisi sekitar 45.000 observasi terhadap kepala rumah tangga perempuan di Indonesia. Kesejahteraan di sini diukur dengan pengeluaran per kapita per bulan rumah tangga. Penelitian ini menggunakan Propensity Score Matching untuk menganalisis pengaruh rata-rata kredit terhadap pengeluaran dan mengendalikan faktor perancu seperti usia, pendidikan, lokasi, status perumahan, status perkawinan, status ibu rumah tangga, status pekerjaan, dan ukuran rumah tangga. Hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kredit berpengaruh signifikan terhadap pengeluaran rumah tangga yang dikepalai perempuan.

This study analyses credit's effect on female-headed household welfare in Indonesia. This thesis employed a dataset from the National Socio-economic Survey (SUSENAS) conducted in 2018, which contains approximately 45,000 observations of female-headed households in Indonesia. Welfare here is measured by expenditure per capita per month of the households. This study employed Propensity Score Matching to analyse the average effect of credit to expenditure while controlling confounding factors such as age, education, location, housing status, marriage status, housewife status, employment status, and household size. The result shows that the credit extension significantly affects the expenditure of female-headed households."

"Saat ini, banyak negara berkonsentrasi pada pembangunan ekonomi untuk mempromosikan perdamaian berdasarkan rekonsiliasi dan kerja sama dan mempromosikan kesejahteraan rakyat mereka sendiri daripada konfrontasi ideologis dan militer yang ada dalam proses pembentukan tatanan internasional baru ini. Namun, situasi Asia Timur Laut termasuk semenanjung Korea memiliki ambivalensi rekonsiliasi dan ketegangan karena peningkatan ketergantungan bersama di antara negara-negara di wilayah tersebut, sisa-sisa Perang Dingin, dan ketidakpastian rezim Korea Utara.

 Dalam situasi ini, Six-Party Talks (SPT) belum dilanjutkan untuk waktu yang lama karena uji coba nuklir Korea Utara dan uji coba peluncuran rudal, dan minat dalam perundingan enam negara baru-baru ini meningkat. Dalam tulisan ini, Penulis membahas persepsi dan kebijakan negara-negara Asia Timur Laut yang berfokus pada diskusi tentang pelembagaan multilateral yang disebut SPT. Selain itu, upaya, kinerja dan keterbatasan kelembagaan untuk melembagakan SPT juga dibahas.

 Pada akhirnya, untuk mengembangkan SPT sebagai kerjasama keamanan multilateral di wilayah tersebut, perlu untuk memperkuat elemen multilateral dalam hal operasi dan fungsi perundingan, dan pada saat yang sama, perbaikan lingkungan di wilayah tersebut harus dilakukan untuk membangun kerjasama keamanan multilateral. Selain itu, sangat penting untuk mendapatkan dukungan aktif dan kerjasama di negara-negara tetangga.

Many countries are now focusing on economic development to promote peace and promote the welfare of their citizens based on reconciliation and cooperation rather than ideological and military confrontations that exist in the process of forming a new international order. But the situation in Northeast Asia, including the Korean Peninsula, is ambiguous due to increased interdependence among countries in the region, the remnants of the Cold War and uncertainties in the North Korean regime.

 Under these circumstances, the Six-Party Talks (SPT) did not last long due to North Korea's nuclear and missile tests, and interest in the SPT has recently increased. The paper discusses the perceptions and policies of Northeast Asian countries that focus on discussions on multilateral institutionalization, called SPT. And also discussed efforts, achievements and institutional limitations to institutionalize SPT.

 Finally, in order to develop SPT as a multilateral security cooperation within the region, it is necessary to strengthen multilateral elements in terms of operational and negotiating functions, and at the same time carry out environmental improvements in the region to develop multilateral security cooperation. It is also very important to gain active support and cooperation from neighboring countries.
