"Suatu negara memiliki otoritas untuk melakukan segala tindakan yang berkaitan dengan isu keamanan negaranya. Pemblokiran yang dilakukan oleh Amerika Serikat terhadap Huawei, merupakan bentuk upaya negara tersebut untuk melindungi kepentingan keamanan nasionalnya. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk menganalisis bagaimana pemblokiran Huawei di Amerika Serikat dilakukan sebagai upaya melindungi keamanan nasional Amerika Serikat. Tuduhan atas Huawei sebagai perusahaan yang digunakan oleh pemerintah Tiongkok untuk melakukan aktivitas mata – mata kepada Amerika Serikat dan rakyatnya menyebabkan Presiden Donald Trump mengeluarkan perintah eksekutif untuk memblokir secara permanen Huawei di AS. Untuk membuktikan tuduhannya terhadap Huawei, pemerintah Amerika Serikat mendorong negara – negara aliansinya untuk ikut memblokir Huawei dan mendorong membatalkan kerja sama pengembangan jaringan 5G dengan Huawei. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif dengan menggunakan teknik penelitian deduktif untuk memahami persepsi ancaman Amerika Serikat terhadap Huawei sebagai ancaman keamanan nasional. Berdasarkan analisis yang dilakukan oleh penulis, penyebab terjadinya pemblokiran Huawei oleh Amerika Serikat adalah karena Huawei dianggap dijadikan alat oleh pemerintah Tiongkok yang berbahaya bagi keamanan nasional AS.

A country has the authority to take all actions related to state security issues. The blocking by the United States (US) against Huawei is a form of US efforts to protect its country's national security interests. Research in this case aims to analyze how Huawei is blocked in the United States as an effort to protect the national security of the United States. Allegations of Huawei as a company used by the Chinese government to carry out spying activities on the US and its people, led President Donald Trump to issue an executive order to block Huawei permanently in the US. To prove its accusations against Huawei, the US government is encouraging its allied countries to participate in blocking Huawei and pushing to cancel 5G network development cooperation with Huawei. This study uses a qualitative analysis method using deductive research techniques to understand the perception of the US threat to Huawei as a threat to US national security. Based on the analysis conducted by the author, the cause of the US blocking Huawei is because Huawei is considered a tool by the Chinese government to attack US national security."

Di Amerika Serikat mereka yang tertindas adalah kaum kulit hitarn serta kelompok masyarakat lain yang posisinya inferior terhadap kelompok WASP.Black Panther Party adalah organisasi pergerakan hak asasi masyarakat kulit hitam Amerika yang mengusung cara-cara radikal revolusloner yang identik dengan perjuangan perang-perang pembebasan nasional. Pemerintah Amerika Serikat melihat hal ini sebagai ancaman keamanan nasional. Demi perlindungan keamanan dan sistem nilai, penanganan harus segera diambil untuk menghancurkan organisasi ini.

The goverment of The United States of America tends to correlate externai threat and domestic movement of the founding of Black Panther Party as a threat to the national security. The focus of this research is on the effort to crush the Black Panther Party from within the organization by the government of United States.

National security is a condition which is aimed by a state. Strategy in national security contains the action or reaction to the object or situation in which a threatening character can create chaos. Not only from enemies beyond the state borders but also inside state borders. The real crux of national security is reaching a feeling of security.

War of national liberation that was done by oppressed society on an over the world was launched against imperialism and colonialism. In the United States, the oppressed party is the black people and also other society groups whose position inferior to the WASP. Black Panther Party is an organization of African-American people which launched revolutionary radical ways identical to the wars of national liberation. The government of the United States saw this matter as a threat to the national security. For the sake of protecting the value system and security, they have to take some drastic measures to break this organization."

"Amerika saat ini menghadapi berbagai tantangan dan ancaman sepanjang periode 2002-2010. Strategi keamanan Amerika Serikat pada periode ini menunjukan peningkatan intensitas defensif dan kooperatif, di tengah peningkatan kapabilitas militer China sepanjang periode 2002-2010, dimana China berpotensi melakukan aksi ofensif dan mengancam Amerika Serikat. Tesis ini akan fokus pada pertanyaan mengapa strategi Amerika Serikat mengalami peningkatan intensitas defensif terhadap terhadap China yang mengalami peningkatan kapabilitas militer di tahun 2002-2010. Tesis ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan menggunakan teori dilema keamanan, dalam rangkaian pengujian hipotesa. Hasil temuan dalam tesis ini mengungkapkan bahwa intensitas defensif dan kooperatif yang ditunjukan Amerika Serikat melalui strateginya disebabkan oleh peningkatan intensitas dilema keamanan. Argumen ini juga dipengaruhi perhitungan rasional terhadap keunggulan defensif yang dimiliki AS, serta intensitas ofensif-defensif China yang tidak dapat dibedakan. Sifat defensif dalam strategi keamanan Amerika Serikat memungkinkannya untuk memitigasi meningkatnya intensitas dilema keamanan, khususnya melalui peningkatan kekuatan defensif diantara tahun 2002-2010, serta melalui peningkatan kerjasama pada periode 2006-2010.

United States facing numerous challenges and threat during the period 2002-2010. United States security strategy in this period showed an increase in the intensity of defensive and uncooperative, in mid of the increasing of Chinese military capabilities over the period 2002-2010, which China could potentially take offensive action and threaten the United States. This thesis focused on the question of why the strategy of the United States experienced an increase in defensive intensity against China, which its military capabilities have increased in the years 2002-2010. This thesis uses quantitative methods and security dilemma theory, in a series of hypothesis testing.

The findings in this thesis reveal that the intensity of defensive and cooperative, caused by the increasing of the security dilemma intensity. This argument is also influenced by rational calculations of United States defensive advantage and China offensive-defensive that can not be distinguished. Defensive nature of the security strategy of the United States allowed it to mitigate the increasing intensity of security dilemmas, particularly through increasing the defensive strength between the years 2002-2010, as well as through increased cooperation in the period 2006-2010."

ABSTRACTThis thesis examines Hollywood movies that have been used by the US governmentas an instrument to propagate the dominant idea of U.S. national security state since1945. This explanative research uses qualitative method. It examines the role that theU.S. Department of Defense plays in producing popular images of military power andgeopolitical identity and explores how these practices become important aspect of theprocess of securitization in the U.S. The analysis looks at how the Pentagon-Hollywood connection represents a key in the Military-Industrial-Media-EntertaimentNetwork, where movies are simultaneously being used as a tools for recruitment,military public relations, and perhaps also bring in some degree of commercial profit.Pentagon utilizes the theme of major Hollywood films to popularize discourses ofmilitary superiority, heroism, and American leadership."
