"Penggunaan pengadaan elektronik (e-Procurement) di dunia bisnis telah meningkat secara dramatis dalam dekade terakhir ini dengan makin banyaknya- perusahaan yang menggunakan teknologi Internet untuk pengadaan berbagai variasi barang dan jasa. Menjadi yang pertama atau setidaknya menjadi pendahulu dalam penggunaan e-Procurement telah menjadi langkah inti stratejik, untuk memastikan bahwa organisasi tidak akan tertinggal dalam kompetisi yang ada. Sejalan dengan pertumbuhan bisnis, banyak alat e-Procurement telah dikembangkan pada tahun-tahun terakhir ini untuk membantu organisasi mencari, membuat kontrak, dan membeli secara lebih efisien dan efektif. Salah satu alat yang sering digunakan di organisasi adalah electronic Reverse Auction dimana pemasok-pemasok potensial berkompetisi secara online dan pada 'waktu yang sebenarnya, menyediakan harga untuk barang atau jasa dalam sebuah lelang. Harga mulai pads tingkatan tertentu dan secara bertahap, sepanjang lelang tesebut, menurun seiring denga adanya perbaikan penawaran untuk mendapatkan kontrak yang ada. Metode electronic reverse auction telah terbukti menghasilkan penghematan di sisi finansiai dan efisiensi proses.
Banyak perusahaan di Indonesia, agar dapat bersaing secara global, telah mengaplikasikan e-Reverse Auction. Perusahaan-perusahaan ini sebagian besar mengaplikasikannya sejalan dengan strategi yang dimiliki oleh perusahaan induknya di luar negeri. Namun, masalah yang ada adalah apakah pemasok-pemasok di Indonesia telah siap untuk mendukung dan berpartisipasi dalam e-Reverse Auction untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimal dari metode Untuk menjawab pertanyaan ini, fokus diarahkan pada studi kasus dari aplikasi e-Reverse Auction di salah satu perusahaan multinasional minyak dan gas burni di Indonesia, XYZ Indonesia Inc. (XYZI). Analisa dilakukan terhadap tiap dimensi dari model empirikal hubungan pembeli-pemasok. Dimensi-dimensi tersebut adalah kepercayaan, kepuasan, adaptasilinvestasi transaksi spesifik, kekuatan/ketergantungan, komunikasi, komitmen, dan kerja sama.
XYZ telah membuat perjanjian dengan satu dari pembuat pasar terdepat untuk e-Procuremennt, Ariba, untuk menyediakan dukungan terhadap e-Reverse Auction kepada seluruh anak perusahaan -XYZ secara global. Di Indonesia, XYZI telah mengaplikasikan e-Reverse Auction sejak kuartal keempat 2004 dan menyelesaikan lima lelang menggunakan e-RA. Penghematan total yang didapat adalah sebesar US$ 785,984.49 dan dinyatakan sebagai kesuksesan terhadap pengaplikasiannya. Namun, jumlah tersebut pada kenyataannya adalah jumlah kotor karena terdapat beberapa kehilangan selama proses. Kehilangan yang diidentifikasi sebagian besar berasal dari waktu pengerjaan dan investasi yang dibuat oleh pembeli XYZ dan pemasok.
Setelah menganalisa ketujuh dimensi dari hubungan pembeli-pemasok, kepercayaan dan komitmen merupakan dimensi-dimensi terkuat. Fokus sebaiknya dibuat lebih untuk adaptasil investasi transaksi spesifik, kekuatand ketergantungan, komunikasi, dan kerja sama untuk mendapatkan keuntungan maksimal dari penggunaan e-Reverse Auction baik kepada pembeli maupun pemasok. Dimensi terakhir, kepuasan, lebih ditekankan pada pihak lain, Ariba, sebagai penyedia pembuat pasar.
Terakhir, beberapa strategi telah diajukan untuk mengembangkan e-Reverse Auction di XYZI. Strategi-strategi tersebut menyarankan untuk membuat perkenalan dan pendidikan terus menerus untuk e-Reverse Auction kepada semua pemasok-pemasok potensial XYZI, komitmen jangka panjang dengan pemasok sebagai basil lelang e-Reverse Auction, mempercepat waktu proses e-Reverse Auction, dan mendapatkan bantuan yang Iebih baik dari Ariba di Indonesia.

The use of electronic procurement (e-Procurement) in business has increased dramatically over this decade with more and more companies utilizing internet technology to procure a wide variety of goods and services. Being first or at least being early into the use of e-Procurement was considered a key strategic move, ensuring that the organization was not left behind the competition. In line with the nature growth of business, many e-Procurement tools have been developed over recent years to help organizations source, contract, and purchase more efficiently and effectively. One of the tools that commonly used in the organizations is electronic Reverse Auction (e-Reverse Auction) where potential suppliers are competing online and in 'real time', providing prices for the goods or services under an auction. Prices start at certain level and gradually, throughout the course of the auction, decline as suppliers offer improved terms in order to obtain the contract. This method of electronic reverse auction has been proven by many companies to provide savings in term of money and process efficiency.
Many companies in Indonesia, to be able to compete globally, have been implemented the e-Reverse Auction. These companies, mostly implemented it as an allignment to the strategy of its foreign parent company. However, the highlighted problem is whether the nature of suppliers in Indonesia is ready to support and participate in the e-Reverse Auction in order to obtain the most advantages of this method. To address this question, focus has been made to a case study of e-Reverse Auction implementation in one of the oil and gas multinational companies in Indonesia, XYZ Indonesia Inc. (XYZI). The analysis is made to each dimensions of empirical model of buyer supplier relationship. The dimensions are trust, satisfaction, adaptation) transaction specific investment, power/dependence, communication, commitment, and co-operation.
XYZI is an -Indonesian subsidiary of XYZ with location based in Houston. XYZ has came up with an agreement with one of the leading market makers for e-Procurement, Ariba, to provide support in e-Reverse Auction to all XYZ subsidiaries globally. In Indonesia, XYZI has implemented e-Reverse Auction since fourth quarter 2004 -and completed five tenders using e-RA as a result. A total savings of USS 785,984.49 has been claimed as a success to the implementation_ However, this claimed number is actually a - gross number due to several losses occured during the process. The losses identified are mostly in terms of time of process and investments made_ to both XYZI buyers and suppliers.
Having analyzed the seven dimensions of buyer-supplier relationship, trust and commitment have been considered the strongest dimensions. Focus should be made more in adaptation/ transaction specific investment, power/ depence, communication, and co-operation in order to gain the most advantage of e-Reverse Auction to both buyer and suppliers. The last dimension, satisfaction, is giving more attention to the other party, Ariba, as the market maker provider.
In the end, several strategies have been proposed to develop implementation of e-Reverse Auction in XYZI. The strategies are suggesting a continuous introduction and education of e-Reverse Auction to all future XYZI's suppliers, a long term commitment with supplier as a result of e-Reverse Auction tenders, speed up the timing of e-Reverse Auction process, and obtain a thorough assistance from Ariba in Indonesia.

"Lelang melalui email muncul seiring dengan perkembangan internet itu sendiri. Di Indonesia, lelang melalui email sudah dipelopori oleh pemerintah dengan situs lelang email yang dapat diakses melalui alamat domain www.lelangdjkn.kemenkeu.go.id. Tesis ini akan menganalisis mengenai langkah dalam penggunaan Aplikasi Lelang Email (ALE) dan keabsahan dari risalah lelang email. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif atau penelitian hukum kepustakaan. Hasil penelitian ialah bahwa penggunaan ALE dirasa efektif dan efisien, meskipun belum ada peraturan yang mengatur mengenai lelang email, risalah lelang email yang di keluarkan oleh KPKNL penyelenggara lelang tetap berlaku dan sah.

Auction via email appears along with the Internet itself. In Indonesia, the auction via email has been pioneered by the government with the auction site that can be accessed via domain address www.lelangdjkn.kemenkeu.go.id. This thesis will analyze about the auction procedure using the Auction Email Application (Aplikasi Lelang Email / ALE) and the validity of the email auction deed. The research method which used in this study is a normative juridical or legal research literature. Research found that the use of ALE was effective and efficient, although the regulations governing the email auction, is still far from perfection. With regard to the email auction deed, the writer found that the deed drawn/ issued by the state auction office are valid and legitimate.

"Ketentuan akan keharusan adanya NPWP bagi peserta lelang melalui internet (lelang online) menjadi kontra produktif bagi peserta lelang yang bukan Warga Negara Indonesia, dikarenakan akan menimbulkan ketidakefisienan dalam pelaksanaan lelang online tersebut. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana penerapan asas efisiensi dan asas kompetisi dalam pelaksanaan lelang online pesawat ex Pelita Air pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Serpong? Bagaimana upaya menciptakan asas efisiensi dan asas kompetisi terhadap pelaksanaan lelang online pesawat ex Pelita Air pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Serpong? Penelitian ini menggunakan metode yuridis normatif, dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan menggunakan metode analisis data kualitatif, karena data yang diperoleh bersifat kualitas.Hasil penelitian menyatakan penerapan asas efisiensi dan asas kompetisi dalam pelaksanaan lelang online pesawat ex Pelita Air pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Serpong tidak terjadi, khususnya bagi peserta lelang yang berasal dari luar negeri. Hal tersebut dikarenakan adanya ketentuan dalam Pasal 34 ayat (2) Peraturan Menteri Keuangan Republik Indonesia Nomor 27/PMK.06/2016 Tentang Petunjuk Pelaksanaan Lelang yang mengatur kewajiban Peserta Lelang menunjukkan NPWP, sehingga membuat peserta lelang dari luar negeri dengan terpaksa membutuhkan badan hukum di Indonesia sebagai perwakilannya, yang pada akhirnya adalah tidak terciptanya asas efisiensi dan asas kompetisi. Upaya menciptakan asas efisiensi dan asas kompetisi terhadap pelaksanaan lelang online pesawat ex Pelita Air pada Kantor Pelayanan Kekayaan Negara dan Lelang Serpong, yaitu materi peraturan perundang-undangan dengan memperhatikan keadilan bagi seluruh peserta lelang.

The provision on the necessity of NPWP for internet auction participants (online auction) becomes counter productive for bidders who are not Indonesian citizens, because it will cause inefficiency in the implementation of online auction. Problems in this research is how the application of the principle of efficiency and the principle of competition in the implementation of online auction airplane ex Pelita Air at State Service Office and Serpong Auction? How is the effort to create the principle of efficiency and the principle of competition on the execution of online auction aircraft ex Pelita Air on State Wealth Office and Serpong Auction? This study uses normative juridical method, using secondary data and using qualitative data analysis method, because the data obtained is quality. The result of research stated that the application of efficiency principle and competition principle in the execution of online auction of airplane ex Pelita Air at State Service Office and Serpong Auction does not happen, especially for bidders coming from abroad. (2) Regulation of the Minister of Finance of the Republic of Indonesia Number 27 / PMK.06 / 2016 Concerning the Auction Implementation Guidelines which regulates the obligation of Bidders to indicate NPWP, thus making the auction participants from abroad is forced to require legal entity in Indonesia as its representative, which in the end is not the creation of the principle of efficiency and the principle of competition. Efforts to create the principle of efficiency and the principle of competition on the implementation of online auction aircraft ex Pelita Air at the Office of State Assets and Auction Serpong, the material legislation with regard to fairness for all bidders."

"In recent years, the rising competitive environment with shorter product life cycles and high customization forces
industries to increase their flexibility, speed up their response, and enhance concurrent engineering designs. To integrate
these prospects, supply chain collaboration becomes a pertinent strategy for industries to strengthen their
competitiveness. The network design problem is used to implement supply chain collaboration. In the buying and
selling process, sharing information between buyer and supplier are important to obtain a transaction decision. The
optimimum supply chain profit can be identified by mathematical model of network design problem. The Mathematical
Model takes into consideration the uncertainity in negotiation of supply chain, transportation problems, and locationallocation
of products from supplier to buyer in the planning based on the time value of money. The results show that
the model can be used to optimize the supply chain profit. The supplier gets a profit because income were received in
the initial contract, while the buyer profit comes from lower pay."

"Dalam pengoperasian jaringan pipa transmisi gas, selain menyediakan jasa pengangkutan gas bumi, sesungguhnya transporter juga menyediakan jasa penyimpanan gas bumi milik para shippers. Pada kenyataannya saat ini belum ada penerapan biaya penyimpanan gas (imbalance charge) untuk pengoperasian pipa gas. Perhitungan keekonomian pembangunan pipa transmisi gas biaya yang diperhitungkan saat ini hanya biaya jasa pengangkutan gas bumi dalam bentuk toll fee sedangkan untuk biaya jasa penyimpanan gas (imbalance charge) belum diperhitungkan sehingga kompensasi terhadap faktor resiko kegagalan pipa akibat proses penyimpanan gas belum dipertimbangkan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa dan mengembangkan apakah penerapan imbalance charge dapat menjadi nilai tambahan dalam pengembalian investasi pada perusahaan transporter.
Proses penelitian dimulai dari studi literatur fenomena linepack yang menyebabkan adanya keadaan imbalance gas, penerapan imbalance charge di negara Eropa yang kemudian dilanjutkan dengan pengumpulan data di lapangan untuk mendapatkan volume berlebih di dalam jaringan pipa EJGP, nilai imbalance charge dan metode imbalance charge yang cocok diterapkan di Indonesia berdasarkan pengoperasian shipper dominan. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa terdapat volume berlebih sebesar 27.46 MMscf pada 3 bulan operasi, besaran nilai imbalance charge 0.17/MSCF sedangkan metode yang cocok adalah evaluasi kumulatif harian dengan toleransi batas atas sebesar 1/6 kapasitas pipa yang dipesan dan batas bawah 1/6 kapasitas pipa yang dipesan dan penerapan pinalti berjenjang.

In the operation of the gas transmission pipeline network, Transporters not only providing natural gas transportation services but also natural gas storage services belonging to the shippers. In fact, there is currently no implementation of gas storage costs (imbalance charge) for gas pipeline operations. The economic calculation of the cost of gas transmission pipeline construction that is taken into account is only the cost of natural gas transportation services called toll fee while the cost of gas storage services (imbalance charge) has not been calculated so compensation for risk factors for pipe failure due to gas storage has not been considered. Therefore, this study aims to analyze and develop whether the application of imbalance charge can be an additional value in returning investment for transporter.
The research process starts from the literature study of pipe functions as a means of transporting and storing natural gas, the phenomenon of linepacks which causes the existence of gas imbalance, the application of charge imbalances in European countries, After that, the operation of one of the pipe segments is carried out, namely the EGJP pipe to get the phenomenon of the occurrence of linepacks, cost of imbalance charge and the concept of applying imbalance charge. Based on the results of the above observations, there is an excess volume of 27.46 MMscf at 3 months of operation, the amount of the charge imbalance value is 0.17 / MSCF while the suitable method is the daily cumulative evaluation with an upper limit tolerance of 1/6 reserve capacity and the lower limit of -1/6 reverse capacity and implementation of tiered penalties

"ABSTRAK
Lelang melalui internet e-auction merupakan suatu modernisasi lelang yang memungkinkan pembeli atau peserta lelang dapat berpartisipasi dengan melakukan penawaran secara tertulis tanpa perlu hadir pada suatu tempat pelaksanaan lelang melainkan cukup menggunakan media internet. Lelang melalui internet diselenggarakan DJKN melalui KPKNL atau Balai Lelang dan dapat diakses melalui situs www.lelangdjkn.kemenkeu.go.id. Selain itu terdapat lelang melalui internet yang diselenggarakan situs yang tidak terdaftar di DJKN. Perumusan masalah yang akan dianalisis dalam tesis ini yaitu tentang perbedaan prosedur pelaksanaan lelang pada situs yang tidak terdaftar di DJKN dan keabsahan dan akibat hukumnya ditinjau dari peraturan lelang di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah yuridis normatif, jenis data yang digunakan data sekunder berupa sumber hukum kepustakaan didukung dengan data primer berupa wawancara kepada informan. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis secara kualitatif sehingga menghasilkan data deskriptif analitis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan lelang melalui internet yang diselenggarakan situs yang tidak terdaftar di DJKN tidak sesuai dengan peraturan lelang yang berlaku di Indonesia serta tidak ada perlindungan hukum berdasarkan peraturan lelang.

ABSTRACT
Auction via internet e auction is modernization of auctions that enable buyers or bidders to participate by offering in writing without attend an auction site but simply use the internet media. E auction is conducted by DJKN through KPKNL or Auction Hall and can be accessed through www.lelangdjkn.kemenkeu.go.id website. In addition, there are e auctions which are organized by site that is not registered in DJKN. This thesis will analyze the implementation of those kind of e auction from applicable auction rules point of view in Indonesia. The research method used is normative juridicial or legal research literature. The results showed that the implementation of e auction organized by sites that are not registered in DJKN is not appropriate with the applicable auction rules in Indonesia, there is no legal protection under the auction rules."

"ABSTRAK
Latar belakang. Kebisingan merupakan potensi bahaya yang sering ditemui pada industri hulu migas, dan memerlukan pengendalian yang tepat dengan PKP agar tidak menimbulkan NIHL. Perusahaan hulu migas X menjalankan PKP sejak tahun 2014, namun perubahan STS pada audiometri berkala sebesar 12,7% melebihi acuan dari NIOSH.
Tujuan Penelitian. Untuk menilai penerapan PKP yang dilakukan perusahaan hulu migas X.
Metode penelitian. Menggunakan metode penelitian mixed method, dilakukan scoring pada ke-8 langkah keluaran dan perhitungan perubahan STS yang terjadi. Secara kualitatif membandingkan pelaksanaan tahapan keluaran, proses dan masukan yang diperoleh melalui kontingensi data dengan panduan dari NIOSH.
Hasil penelitian. Dilakukan penilaian dan kategorisasi terhadap 8 langkah pada tahap keluaran, dengan hasil hazard monitoring, evaluasi audiometri dan record keeping dikategorikan cukup, sedangkan pengendalian enjinering dan administratif, APT, edukasi dan motivasi, evaluasi program dan audit dikategorikan kurang. Sehingga hasil penilaian untuk keseluruhan langkah pada tahap keluaran adalah kurang. Hasil pada keluaran ini berkaitan erat dengan proses dan masukan. Hampir keseluruhan proses dilakukan oleh tim pelaksana PKP yang merupakan gabungan dari tim kesehatan dan higiene industri yang sebelumnya tidak memiliki pengalaman dalam menjalankan program yang kompleks ini. Dari pihak manajemen, keterbatasan dalam pendanaan, yang utamanya untuk melakukan pengendalian enjinering dan administratif, dimana pendanaan tersebut berkaitan dengan struktur gabungan dua perusahaan serta akan habisnya masa kontrak kerja sama turut memberikan andil pada kegagalan ini.
Kesimpulan. Perubahan STS pada pelaksanaan PKP di perusahaan hulu migas X sebesar 12,7% dikarenakan terdapat kekurangan pada tahapan masukan, proses dan keluaran dibandingkan panduan dari NIOSH, yang diakibatkan keterbatasan dari pihak manajemen serta tim pelaksana PKP.

ABSTRACT
Background. Noise is a potential hazard that is often encountered in the upstream oil and gas industry, and requires proper control with HCP to prevent NIHL. Upstream oil and gas company X has run HCP since 2014, but the STS changes on a periodical audiometry of 12.7% still exceed the reference from NIOSH.
Purpose. To evaluate the implementation of HCP in upstream oil and gas company X.
Method. Using mixed method, scoring the 8 steps of output stage and calculation of STS changes. Qualitatively compares the implementation of the outputs, processes and inputs stages obtained through contingency data, with guidance from NIOSH.
Result. Assessment and categorization of the 8 steps at the output stage, with results: hazard monitoring, audiometric evaluation and record keeping are categorized fair, while engineering and administrative control, hearing protection device, education and motivation, program evaluation and audit are categorized poor. The result for the overall output stage is poor. Outputs results are related to processes and inputs. Almost the whole process is carried out by the HCP team, which is a combination of health section members and industrial hygienists that previously had no experience running this complex program. On the management side, financing constraints, principally for engineering and administrative control, where the funding relates to the combined structure of the two companies and the expiration of the contract period contribute the failure.
Conclusion. STS changes in the implementation of HCP in upstream oil and gas company X amounted to 12.7% due to lack of input stage, process and output compared to guidance from NIOSH, which resulted from limitations of management and HCP implementation team."

"Untuk dapat terus berkembang sebuah organisasi memerlukan cara untuk mengelola asset pengetahuannya atau yang biasa di kenal sebagai Knowledge management (KM). KM didefinsikan sebagai upaya untuk menangkap, mengolah dan membagikan asset pengetahuan dalam perusahaan. Ada beberapa langkah penting saat sebuah organisasi membangun Knowledge Management system nya. Dimulai dengan Knowledge acquisition, Knowledge Creation, Knowledge Storage dan di akhiri dengan Knowledge application. Roda ini harus terus berputar agar perbaikan terus berkelanjutan.
Riset ini bertujuan untuk memberikan gambaran tentang seberapa efektif upaya pengelolaan aset pengetahuan dan apa saja yang dapat di usulkan untuk membuka peluang perbaikan. Dua kelompok informan di kumpulan sebagai nara sumber untuk mewakili pandangan dari sisi Senior Management dan di sisi lain kelompok pekerja yang merupakan community of practice di perusahaan.
Model Baku yang digunakan dalam riset ini adalah Model Sukses Knowledge Management yang diusulkan oleh Jennex & Olfman dan di gabungkan dengan model SECI dari Nonaka & Takeuchi. Riset ini adalah sebuah study case tentang performa sebuah KMS di industry Hulu Minyak dan Gas yang seringkali di persepsi kan sebagai ilmu yang sudah konvensional dan using.
Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan ada beberapa aspek yang perlu ditingkatkan dari system KM yang ada saat ini yaitu, membangun trust dan appreciation dan perbaikan service quality dari perangkat lunak yang ada saat ini.

To be able to continue to grow an organization needs a way to manage its knowledge assets or commonly known as Knowledge management (KM). KM is defined as an effort to capture, process and share knowledge assets within the company. There are several important steps when an organization builds its Knowledge Management system. It starts with Knowledge acquisition, Knowledge Creation, Knowledge Storage and ends with Knowledge application. This wheel must continue to rotate so that repairs will continue.
This research aims to provide an overview of how effective the management of knowledge assets and what can be proposed to open opportunities for improvement. Two groups of informants were gathered as resource persons to represent the views from the Senior Management side and on the other hand the workers group was the community of practice in the company.
The standard model used in this research is the Knowledge Management Success Model proposed by Jennex & Olfman and combined with the SECI model from Nonaka & Takeuchi. This research is a study case about the performance of a KMS in the Upstream Oil and Gas industry which is often perceived as a conventional and using science.
From the results of the study it was found that there are several aspects that need to be improved from the current KM system, namely building trust and appreciation and improving service quality from existing software.

"Laporan magang ini membahas tentang analisis penerapan Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) 404 dalam Shared Service Center (SSC) pada PT XYZ. PT XYZ bergerak dalam industri manufaktur. Dalam penerapan SOX 404, PT XYZ telah memiliki alur proses pengimplementasian yang telah dirancang dan diterapkan di seluruh cabang perwakilannya di seluruh dunia. Country Finance Center (CFC) merupakan unit SSC yang memberikan jasa pengelolaan keuangan kepada empat unit bisnis yang dimiliki oleh PT XYZ. Sebagai pengelola proses dan aktivitas akuntansi serta pelaporan keuangan, CFC berkewajiban dalam menerapkan kepatuhan terhadap SOX 404. Kesimpulan dari laporan ini ialah PT XYZ melalui CFC telah merancang dan menjalankan sistem pengendalian internal serta penerapan SOX 404 yang sesuai dengan standar dan prosedur yang berlaku.

This Internship Report discusses about analysis of Sarbanes Oxley Act (SOX) 404 implementation in Shared Service Center (SSC) of PT XYZ. PT XYZ is a manufacturing company. In implementing SOX 404, PT XYZ has implementation process cycle which designed to be applied in its whole representative office in the world. Country Finance Center (CFC) is an SSC unit delivering financial management service to XYZ?s four business units. As the process owner of financial reporting and accounting activity, CFC is obligated to implement SOX 404 compliance standards. The conclusion of this report is PT XYZ through its CFC has designed and implemented internal control system and SOX 404 compliance based on applicable standards and procedures."

"In the past few decades, the concept of social responsibility has emerged as an increasingly important feature of the business landscape. No longer can businesses base their decisions solely on economic criteria (profit), now they must also consider the legal, ethical, philanthropic and social impacts of each business decision.
The role of business is rapidly changing. In today's emerging global society, businesses have embraced corporate social responsibility (CSR) not only as a value reflective of their new role in contributing to societal goals, but also as a strategy for improving the bottom line.
Corporate Social Responsibility is business' responsibility, strategy, and contribution to sustainable development. It called business responsibility because of the basic principal that we are not the owner of nowadays, but we owned to the future. It called business strategy because through CSR, the company can use it as a strategy to prevent from threats.
Corporate Social Responsibility plays a key role in enhancing the business image of the company. The CSR is part of the company's strategy. CSR gives values to three stakeholders: company, community and local government.
The company needs the secure feeling condition in order to make it free from any threats caused by external that can affect to the going concern operation of the company. The company losses measurement because of environment threats result is the cost that has to be paid by the company. For example the cost of discontinue project that was blocked by the community for reasons like oil spill in the river or sea, etc. Therefore, CSR is a "must".
Thirty years ago, the Club of Rome stated that there were only 30 years' worth of oil reserves and that we should impose zero growth. Thirty years later, with sustained economic growth, there are still more than 40 years' worth of reserves in front of us. We should not conclude from this that the diagnosis was completely false. However, the researcher believes that if we try to do our best for this planet, we still can renew the wealth that is kept in the tummy of the earth. In conclusion, doing well for our lands benefits the entire stakeholder and the earth itself.
The researcher is trying to emphasize the CSR doing by oil and Gas Company in Indonesia named Total E&P Indonesia. Oil and gas industry is the industry that dealing with its activities within area of exploration and production of hydrocarbon resources to produce oil and gas. Its working area is often overlapped with the center activities of communities which will affect the stability of the environment.
Nowadays, the threats to the company like oil & gas have showed the scale that can harm the investment in mineral resources, and become the bilateral issue between the investor countries and our country Indonesia. The direct looses normally resulted by the interrupted of operation due to a blockage by the communities to Total E&P Indonesia have reached the cost between USS 70,000 - USS 75,000 per days.
To overcome those problems, the company develops an approaching method intensive program called Sustainable Development Program. If the company gets in trouble, it is not sustainable. Sustainable development is an essential parameter that impacts all the company's activities. Sustainable development is a basic element of business that cannot be seen as a constraint."
