"ABSTRACT
Dalam organisasi pelayanan kemanusiaan terdapat kecenderungan bahwa pelibatan relawan dalam pelayanan hanya ditujukan untuk kegiatan yang sifatnya insidental saja, dan belum mensinergikan relawan dalam struktur organisasi secara berkelanjutan. Selain itu, terdapat juga suatu kondisi dimana terjadi ketimpangan antara jumlah staf dan relawan. Sehingga jumlah staf yang sedikit harus dibebani dengan peran pengelolaan relawan, beriringan dengan berbagai pekerjaan yang biasa mereka lakukan. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, skripsi ini membahas mengenai proses pelaksanaan manajemen relawan yang diterapkan dalam organisasi pelayanan kemanusiaan Sekolah Relawan, beserta dengan faktor pendukung dan penghambat proses pengelolaan tersebut. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa Sekolah Relawan melakukan pengelolaan relawan secara langsung, dan memiliki enam tahapan utama, yaitu 1 persiapan internal, 2 rekrutmen, 3 orientasi dan pelatihan, 4 penugasan atau aksi, 5 penguatan dan pemberian dukungan, dan 6 pengawasan. Adapun faktor yang mendukung proses pengelolaan relawan adalah keberadaan visi dan misi yang mengarah pada relawan, motivasi pribadi relawan, suasana kekeluargaan dan pengaruh pimpinan organisasi. Sedangkan faktor penghambat yang dialami, antara lain belum adanya bagian khusus yang menangani relawan, kesibukan lain yang dimiliki relawan, dan hambatan komunikasi.

ABSTRACT
In the human service organization there is a tendency that volunteer involvement in services is only aimed at incidental activities only, and has not synergized them in the organizational structure. In addition, there is also a condition where there is an imbalance between the number of staff and volunteers. So the small number of staff should be burdened with the role of volunteer management, along with the various jobs that they usually do. Based on these problems, this study discuses about volunteer management process conducted by Sekolah Relawan with the supports and obstacles. This study used qualitative method and descriptive design approach. The result of study show that Sekolah Relawan performs direct volunteer management, and has six main stages 1 internal preparation, 2 recruitment, 3 orientation and training, 4 assignment or action, 5 strengthening and support, and 6 supervision This volunteer management process are supported by the existence of vision and mission that leads to volunteer, personal motivation of volunteers, family atmosphere in organization and influence of board of directors. Whereas, the obstacles are the absence of volunteer manager, other activities owned by volunteers, and communication barriers."
