"Maraknya program pertukaran pelajar yang diadakan oleh pihak pemerintah maupun pihak swasta menyebabkan adanya kemungkinan asimilasi budaya, terutama bahasa, oleh para peserta program pertukaran tersebut. Kemungkinan ini diperkuat oleh adanya gejala alih kode yang dilakukan oleh para peserta program pertukaran setelah mereka kembali.
Sebagian besar dari mereka melakukan alih kode bahasa Indonesia-Inggris, terutama alumni program pertukaran pelajar yang berasal dari English-speaking countries. Alumni program pertukaran yang masih melakukan alih kode saat sedang bercakap-cakap adalah alumni program pertukaran pelajar di Yayasan Bina Antarbudaya, khususnya alumni program pertukaran pelajar YES (Youth Exchange and Study).
Karena itu, skripsi ini ditujukan untuk meneliti dan mengidentifikasi bentuk alih kode serta faktor-faktor yang memengaruhinya. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah teori alih kode oleh Gumperz (1982), teori penggunaan campur kode menurut Muysken (2000), serta fungsi-fungsi penggunaan alih kode menurut Holmes (2001) dan Wardhaugh (2002).
Berdasarkan teori-teori tersebut, dapat diidentifikasi 21 alih kode dengan bentuk metaphorical code switching dan 139 campur kode yang sebagian besar dilakukan dalam bentuk insertion. Selain itu, fungsi-fungsi alih kode dan campur kode berdasarkan teori Holmes (2001) dan Wardhaugh (2002) dapat ditemukan dalam ujaran alumni program pertukaran pelajar YES.

Exchange student programs, held by the government or private organization nowadays, cause the possibility of culture assimilation, especially language toward the returnees. This can be found on the indication of code switching among the returnees after they finished the program.
Most of the returnees are those who did the program in one of the English-speaking countries. For instance, YES exchange student program returnees in Yayasan Bina Antarbudaya often switch their language when they speak to other returnees or volunteers in the organization.
Therefore, the aims of this research are to analyze and identify the type of code switching as well as the factors which influence them to do so. The theories applied for this research are the concept of code switching by Gumperz (1982), the definition of code mixing by Musyken (2000), and the functions of using code switching by Holmes (2001) and Wardhaugh (2002).
Based on those theories, it can be concluded that there are 21 metaphorical code switchings and 139 code mixings; mostly on insertion forms. Furthermore, the functions of code switching, told by Holmes (2001) and Wardhaugh (2002), can be proven well."

"ABSTRACT
This study started from the two main problems. Those are (1) the factors caused the shift of Tonsea Language and (2) the factors supported the maintenance of the language. Based on the problems above, this study aimed to find out the factors causing the shift of Tonsea language and the factors supporting the maintenance of the language. As a consequence, the population of this study was all the member of Tonsea speech community, especially the 4.778 persons who lived in the village of Laikit, Dimembe. Then, the respondents of this study were 140 persons, taken through proportional stratified random sampling based on their sex, age, education, and occupation.
in order to obtain such aims the researcher involved the following ways. Data were collected through structured interview, questionnaires, participatory observation, and recording. The questionnaires was given to the respondents who were eleven to eighteen of age and above twenty-one. in addition, the process of recording was aided with some stimulation to the informants. Then, the data were analyzed with ANOVA in order to get the level of significance of their language choice. To make sure the accuracy of the computation the researcher used statistic computer "Microstat".
This study found the following result. Tonsea language was used by the tonsean aged fifty or more as the language was mastered enough by such people. The language was also used as a culture support, such as in family meeting, arisan, wedding ceremony, funeral ceremony, tumuwar activity, and traditional ceremony in order to release a village from the troubles made by devils. in addition, the language was also used by the youth when they were talking to their siblings, brothers or sisters in law, parents, and grand-parents. Malay-Manado language was used among tonseans who were under fifty of age in their community, by tonsean under fifty of age to their children, to their parents, and to the other persons in the same village. Mixed language was used by the participants in the situations other than what is mentioned above. Bahasa Indonesia tend to be used by the youth in educational and religious domain.
The maintenance variables of Tonsea Language were age, education and occupation. The tonseans who were fifty or more tend to maintain the language while those who were under fifty were not. The tonseans whose education was elementary school tend to use Tonsea language while those whose education were high school or university tend to use Malay-lVlenado or mixed the languages. Farmers, housewives, and merchandiser tend to use Tonsea language while civil servants, military member, students, and private servants tend to use Malay-Manado or mix the languages."

"Skripsi ini membahas tentang kasus Rebo Nyunda di Bandung dan Kamis Ngapak-Ngapak di Banyumas sebagai salah satu bentuk perencanaan bahasa daerah. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif analisis. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah bagaimana terjadinya pelanggaran atas kebijakan Rebo Nyunda dan Kamis Ngapak-Ngapak dalam pelaksanaan kebijakan bahasa daerah. Kedua kebijakan tersebut bertumpang tindih terhadap kebijakan bahasa Indonesia yang tertuang dalam Undang-Undang Nomor 24 tahun 2009. Untuk itu diperlukan perencanaan bahasa secara matang baik secara nasional maupun daerah agar tidak lagi terjadi kesalahan yang sama di daerah lainnya.

This thesis discusses the case in Rebo Nyunda in Bandung and Kamis Ngapak-Ngapak in Banyumas as a form of regional language planning. This research is a qualitative analysis. The results of this study is that there is a violation of policy Rebo Nyunda and Kamis Ngapak-Ngapak in local language policy implementation. Both of these policies overlap with the Indonesian policy set in Undang-Undang Nomor 24 tahun 2009. Therefore required careful language planning both national and regional levels to avoid the same mistake again occur in other areas."

"Penelitian ini membahas ciri-ciri bahasa laki-laki dan perempuan yang terdapat pada rubrik Wat zou u doen? dalam majalah suplemen Het Volkskrant Magazine. Rubrik ini merupakan rubrik tanya jawab yang melibatkan pembaca De Volkskrant, baik laki-laki maupun perempuan. De Volkskrant adalah sebuah media massa yang berbentuk surat kabar di Belanda dan Het Volkskrant Magazine merupakan suplemen dari koran tersebut yang disisipkan pada setiap akhir pekan. Dalam penelitian ini, penulis menganalisis tanggapan-tanggapan yang terdapat dalam rubrik tersebut dan mengaitkannya dengan ciri-ciri bahasa laki-laki dan perempuan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dan kuantitatif, dan bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan serta menjelaskan ciri-ciri bahasa laki-laki dan perempuan melalui tanggapan mereka dalam rubrik tersebut. Penulis menggunakan data berupa 13 tanggapan yang diperoleh dari dua rubrik Wat zou u doen? yang berjudul Wanneer vertel ik mijn dochtertje dat ik van travestie houd? dan Klikken over de oppas? yang dianalisis dengan menggunakan teori ciriciri bahasa laki-laki dan perempuan. Setelah dianalisis, ciri-ciri bahasa laki-laki yang dominan adalah adanya unsur bahasa yang menunjukkan ketegasan dan mengaitkan masalah dengan pengalaman atau fakta, sedangkan ciri-ciri bahasa perempuan yang ditemukan adalah penggunaan bentuk pertanyaan, penggunaan unsur emosi atau perasaan, dan mengaitkan masalah dengan kehidupan sehari-hari atau aspek kehidupan lainnya.

This research explains about the differences between language characteristics and ‒behavior of men and women in Wat zou u doen? column in Het Volkskrant Magazine. This is a question and answer column which involves the readers of De Volkskrant. De Volkskrant is a newspaper in the Netherlands and Het Volkskrant Magazine is a supplement which is published on weekends. In this research, the writer tries to analyze the feedbacks from each dialogue and to connect them with the characteristics of the language of men and women. This research is based on the qualitative and quantitative methods, which is aimed to explain the characteristics of men and women‟s languages through dialogues within the column of the supplement pages. As primary data, the writer uses 13 dialogues from Wat zou u doen? titled Wanneer vertel ik mijn dochtertje dat ik van travestie houd? and Klikken over de oppas?. The dialogues are analyzed by the writer with the theory of the language of men and women. Concluding the research, men tend to be more assertive and connect the problem with facts or experiences, while women tend to use a question which is influenced by emotions or feelings and tend to connect the problem with daily life or other aspects.

"Klassieke Model merupakan sebuah teori yang menggunakan konsep Legpuzzel atau puzzle yang membantu pembelajar bahasa asing dalam proses pemahaman suatu makna kata. Metode legpuzzel ini menggunakan perumpamaan konsep Legpuzzel dengan menganalisis dan menghimpun komponen-komponen pembentuk makna kata dengan bantuan tabel dan kolom yang diibaratkan sebagai himpunan potongan-potongan puzzle yang akan membentuk kesatuan puzzle yang utuh. Dalam jurnal ini penulis menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan survey untuk mencoba meneliti proses mahasiswa tingkat III Program Studi Belanda, Fakultas Ilmu Pengetahuan Budaya Universitas Indonesia mengenai konsep legpuzzel dengan menguji 9 responden menggunakan dua kosakata berbahasa Belanda, yaitu kata wrijftelefoon dan facebookrellen. Dari hasil penelitian tersebut, penulis menyimpulkan bahwa metode Legpuzzel memang mempermudah pembelajar bahasa asing dalam hal proses pemahaman kata-kata baru. Konsep legpuzzel pun dinilai cukup membantu responden dalam menebak makna kata berbahasa asing yang baru dikenal oleh para responden.

The Klassieke Model is a theory that uses the concept of jigsaw puzzle that helps to ease a language learner to understand, apply and to absorb new meanings. This Legpuzzel Method can be used by foreign language learners to ease them translating a word into their mother language. The aim of this journal is to analyze and compare the process of identifying and acknowledging two dutch words facebookrellen and wrijftelefoon among nine 3rd year students of the Dutch Department of Faculty of Humanities University of Indonesia. The result shows that the students generally concluded one of two meanings correctly by using the Legpuzzel Method. The Legpuzzel Method plays an important role in the process of identifying new words and their meaning and also helping students in summing up the meaning of new words in Dutch.
