"ABSTRAKTulisan ini merupakan analisis terhadap novel Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 karya Pidi Baiq yang diterbitkan oleh Pastel Books pada tahun 2014. Analisis yang penulis lakukan berfokus pada gambaran keluarga yang terdapat dalam isi novel. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menunjukkan gambaran keluarga dalam novel Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 karya Pidi Baiq dalam tinjauan sastra remaja. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan intrinsik dan berbagai konsep dalam tinjauan kesusastraan remaja, maka dapat digambarkan bagaimana peran keluarga dalam pembentukan karakter Dilan sebagai tokoh remaja dalam Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa keluarga memiliki peran yang besar dalam membangun karakter seorang remaja.

ABSTRACTThis paper is an analysis of a novel, titled Dilan Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 by Pidi Baiq published by Pastel Books in 2014. The author focuses the analysis on the family that is portrayed in the novel. The purpose of this study is to show the family portrayal in the novel Dilan Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 by Pidi Baiq from the perspective of a young adult literature. This paper is based on a qualitative research. By using an intrinsic concept and any aspect in a young adult literature review, how the role of the family in building the character of Dilan as a teenager can be clearly seen in Dilan Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990. The result of this research indicates that a family has a big role in building the character of a teenager."
