Disisi lain, Korea Utara juga menginginkan reunifikasi berdasarkan pidato Kim Jong Il berjudul "Let Us Carry Out The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification".

This final project analyzes North Korea's response to policies made by South Korea in reunification efforts, Sunshine Policy. The policy was made by Kim Dae Jung, the president of South Korea who served from 1998 to 2003. During Kim Dae Jung's leadership, he formulated the Sunshine Policy, a form of South Korea's diplomatic towards North Korea in the field of economy and humanity as an effort for reunification. On the other side, North Korea also want reunification based on Kim Jong Il's speech about "Let Us Carry Out The Great Leader Comrade Kim Il Sung's Instructions for National Reunification". South Korea and North Korea produced an agreement at the Inter-Korean Summit on June 15, 2000. Through this writing, the author analyzes the concrete manifestations of North Korea's response to Sunshine policy starting from when the Sunshine Policy was first introduced until before the Inter-Korean Summit was held. The method used is a qualitative exploratory method with a diachronic approach by analyzing mass media in the form of newspapers. Through a qualitative analysis, the results of this paper indicate that there is a specific perspective on the part of North Korea that influences the concrete manifestation of North Korea's response to the Sunshine Policy namely responding with criticism, not having a sense of trust in the Sunshine Policy and regard the Sunshine Policy as a confrontation

"ABSTRAK
In the past, women migrated as part of a family and for family reunification, but recently they have been migrating according to their own independent purposes. As the quantity of womens immigration increases, the feminization of migration has emerged as one prominent feature in international migration. In international migration, the migrant network is a major resource, and it is one major factor that greatly influences migrants settlement, stabilization, and successful migration in the host country. Therefore, the present study in- vestigated the role of migrant networks in international migration and exam- ined how migrant network policies are implemented in Koreas social in- tegration policy for foreigners. The researcher analyzed the status of migrant womens networks in Korea, which have been neglected in Koreas policy implementation. The results showed that migrant women in Korea have been excluded from the formation of a network that could enable them to acquire resources in their settlement due to their vulnerable social status. The policy was mostly focused on marriage migrant women and their families due to Koreans putting emphasis on the bloodline based on patriarchal thinking. It was also found that women who migrated with the purpose of securing a job by joining the formal market area had more difficulties in accessing the mi- grant network because of the lack of time and economic burden. More prac- tical policies need to be established to facilitate network formation and access for all migrant women, through which they can acquire resources."

This thesis discusses the Sunshine Policy as a form of South Korean government's approach to soften North Korea's behavior. This thesis research is qualitative research using literature study. Results of this study concluded that soft approach (soft power) can sometimes be the main weapon to influence the opponent. This is evident in the case of South Korea and North Korea. South Korea launched the Sunshine Policy as a form of economic and humanitarian approach to soften the aggressive behavior of North Korea. Sunshine Policy is considered effective in that time although in the end the policy is removed."
