"ABSTRAK
Pembelajaran kolaboratif merupakan suatu pendekatan yang dapat diterapkan dalam pengajaran menulis. Pembelajaran ini terjadi ketika pembelajar bekerja sama untuk mencapai tujuan pembelajaran bersama Barkley, Cross, Major, 2005 . Dengan menerapkan pembelajaran kolaboratif dalam kegiatan menulis, setiap anggota dapat saling berdiskusi dan bertukar wawasan. Oleh karena itu, pembelajaran kolaboratif ini bermanfaat dalam penguasaan konten, pengembangan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah, dan meningkatkan kemampuan intrapersonal Johnson Johnson, 1999 . Namun demikian, tidak semua mahasiswa senang jika kegiatan menulis yang biasanya dilakukan secara individual, dikerjakan secara berkelompok. Oleh sebab itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur efektivitas pembelajaran kolaboratif pada performa menulis esai dan melihat korelasi antara performa menulis esai dan sikap belajar mahasiswa terhadap pembelajaran tersebut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini ialah metode penelitian kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Sampel dari penelitian ini ialah mahasiswa tingkat satu fakultas X yang berjumlah 48 mahasiswa, yaitu 23 mahasiswa kelas kontrol dan 25 mahasiswa kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode kolaboratif efektif dalam meningkatkan performa menulis mahasiswa terutama pada bagian thesis statement dan essay development. Terlebih lagi, hasil penelitian juga menunjukkan bahwa ada korelasi antara sikap pemelajar terhadap metode kolaboratif dan performa menulis. Pemelajar dapat memperoleh manfaat dari metode ini secara optimal.

ABSTRACT
Collaborative learning is an approach that can be applied in teaching writing. This approach occurs when learners work together to achieve shared learning goals Barkley, Cross, Major, 2005 . In this case, each member of the group can discuss and exchange knowledge. Hence, collaborative learning is beneficial for learners in content mastery, development of critical thinking, problem solving skills, and improved interpersonal skills Johnson Johnson, 1999 . Nevertheless, not all learners are interested in working in groups especially in a writing course whose tasks are usually done individually. Therefore, this study aimed to measure the effectiveness of collaborative learning toward learner rsquo s writing performance and find out the correlation between learner rsquo s writing performance and their attitude toward the approach. This research is a quantitative and qualitative reasearch. The samples of the study are 48 freshmen of faculty X and they are divided into two groups. Twenty three learners were in the control class and twenty five learners were in the experimental class. The results show that collaborative learning can improve learners 39 writing performance especially in writing the thesis statement and essay development quality. Moreover, the results also found that there was a significant correlation between the learners rsquo attitude towards collaborative methods and their writing performance. "

"Perkembangan teknologi informasi yang pesat telah memberikan dampak yang sangat besar terhadap berbagai sisi kehidupan manusia. Dengan perkembangan tersebut, kini setiap orang dapat berinteraksi satu dengan yang lainnya tanpa harus bertemu secara fisik.
Teknologi web telah memberikan dampak yang sangat besar. Sifatnya yang open source yang membuatnya bebas untuk dikembangkan, sehingga penerapan aplikasinya sangatlah luas.
Webcollab merupakan aplikasi managemen kerjasama tim yang berbasis web. Dibandingkan dengan aplikasi sejenis yang berlisensi, aplikasi ini jelas sangat menguntungkan karena dapat diakses dari berbagai tempat yang memiliki akses internet, dan yang terpenting hampir bebas biaya. Dengan adanya web collaborative tool ini maka pengaturan kerjasama dan pelaporan perkembangan hasil pekerjaan tim dapat dilakukan tanpa harus terjadinya interaksi secara fisik.
Tugas akhir ini melakukan analisa dan pengembangan dari fiture dan system Webcollab (sebuah aplikasi kolaborasi yang bersifat open source). Pada tugas akhir ini dilakukan penilaian kelengkapan fitur yang dimiliki apakah cukup menunjang kerjasama secara virtual dengan baik, dan menambahkan kedalam sistem fitur sistem pelaporan hasil pekerjaan dan modul chatting, sehingga kerjasama virtual dapat berjalan dengan baik.
Aplikasi ini telah dinilai oleh 10 pengguna, fokus penilaian adalah pada desain, fitur yang diberikan, dan aplikasi ini sebagai aplikasi open source. Hasil penilaian menunjukan bahwa aplikasi ini memiliki kemungkinan untuk digunakan oleh responden yang bekerja dengan tim secara virtual dan mengatur kerjasama tim secara virtual.

The rapid development of information technology has given an enormous impact in many aspect of human life. With that rapid development, nowadays it?s possible for everyone to interact one with another without have to meet in physically.
Web based technology is also given us huge impact. The open source license characteristic make it possible for everyone to making development freely in wide application implementation.
Web Collaborative tool is a web based team work management application. Compared with similar licensed application, this application is obviously giving great benefit, because it can be accessed from anywhere using internet connectivity, and the most important thing that it is free of charge. With this application, managing team work and reporting job assignment result can be done without direct interaction.
This paper analyze and enhance the feature of Webcollab (Open Source Collaboration tools). The analysis is focused on application feature whether it supports virtual team work., Some new features such as reporting system and chatting module have been added to the system, so the virtual team work optimized.
This software reviewed by 10 users, the reviewed focused on lay out design, features and application as open source application. The result shows that this application has an opportunity to be used by personnel who need to work with a virtual team and to manage a virtual team work.

"ABSTRACT
Higher education level has such contribution to develop students' understanding and attitude toward environment. In order to do so, a strategy or approach which is applied through an effective teaching model to develop students' awareness on environment is urgently required. Free inquiry Model and Mind Mapping try to create scientific thinking to students and help them develop critical, creative and innovative thinking in order to arise some ideas about the solution for environment problems. CAR is used as the design of the research with aims at finding out more creative and more innovative ways of learning, enhancing learning motivation, seeking the solution of environment problems and to relate the issue with real condition. The research conducted in Biology Study program, Faculty of Teachers Training and Educational Sciences, Pakuan University, 2013-2014 academic year involved the third semester students from class A. Two cycles were conducted during the research and two actions were dealt for each cycle. The findings show that there is an improvement in terms of enthusiasm from 73% in cycle 1 into 84 % in cycle 2. The average score regarding students' understanding about environment pollution is increasingly improved from 69,11 in cycle 1 to 76,56 in cycle 2. It also happens to the students' mastery learning which develops from 66,67% in cycle 1 into 83,33% in cycle 2. Students' ability in solving environment problems in cycle 1 which achieved 69,74 in terms ofd average score and 63,33 % in the area of mastery learning improves in cycle 2 becoming 77,69 and 86,67%."

"Tugas akhir ini dilakukan dengan tujuan merancang bangun suatu synchronous collaborative system untuk memudahkan proses pembelajaran kolaboratif berbasis web, dengan mempergunakan beberapa collaborative tools yang bersifat real time. Kegiatan dimulai dengan menentukan persyaratan yang harus dipenuhi oleh sistem yaitu diantaranya terdapat subsistem untuk mengakomodir proses komunikasi dan media penyampaian informasi secara realtime. Proses dilanjutkan dengan pemodelan sistem, sehingga teridentifikasi beberapa subsistem yang akan digunakan yaitu audio conference, online chat, online note dan shared presentation. Setelah itu, dilakukan rancang bangun arsitektural sistem yang mencakup database, server dan client. Proses berikutnya adalah rancang bangun dan integrasi komponen-komponen yang telah teridentifikasi. Pengujian sistem dilakukan terhadap kriteria fungsional melalui survey kepada pengguna terhadap performansi produk, sedangkan kriteria nonfungsional dilakukan melalui pengambilan sampel waktu tunda terhadap 2 kondisi koneksi yaitu modem dan LAN.
Dari hasil survey didapat nilai rata-rata untuk usabilitas, fungsionalitas, efisiensi dan general adalah diatas 3,5 dalam skala maksimum 4. Dari hasil pengujian waktu tunda didapatkan waktu tunda rata-rata dari audio conference adalah 2,9 ms dalam kondisi modem dan 2,4 ms dalam kondisi LAN, chat adalah 1,5 ms dalam kondisi modem dan 1,4 ms dalam kondisi LAN, online note sebesar 1,7 ms untuk kondisi modem dan 1,6 ms untuk kondisi LAN, shared presentation sebesar 1,4 ms untuk modem dan 1,3 ms untuk LAN. Sehingga disimpulkan sistem akan berjalan lebih baik pada kondisi jaringan LAN.

This final project is done in purpose to design and implement a synchronous collaborative system in supporting a collaborative learning process through the web. The application used some of the real time collaborative tools. The design process is started with defining the requirement that should be fulfilled by the system which is to provide communication process and information transmission media in real time. Then the process is continued with the modelling of the system, so in the process several subsystems are identified such as audio conference, online chat, shared presentation and online note. The next process is architectural design of the system which includes the database, server and client. After that the identified subsystem is then designed, implemented and integrated. The sistem is tested to fulfill the functional and nonfunctional criteria, the functionality test is done by surveying the user and the nonfunctionality test is done by taking sample of latency in 2 different connection conditions which is in modem and in LAN condition.
The survey for usability, functionality, efficiency and system as general gives average score above 3,5 in the range of 4. The latency test gives average latency for audio conference is 2,9 ms for modem and 2,4 for LAN, chat is 1,5 ms for modem and 1,4 for LAN, online note is 1,7 ms for modem and 1,6 ms for LAN, shared presentation is 1,4 ms for modem and 1,3 ms for LAN. So from the result can be concluded that the system run better in LAN network condition.

"Kolaborasi antar stakeholder dalam siklus hidup proyek sangat penting untuk meningkatkan kinerja proyek konstruksi rancang bangun. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan kolaborasi tim proyek konstruksi rancang bangun sehingga didapatkan pengaruh dari model kolaborasi terhadap kinerja kolaborasi dengan faktor rentang batas geografis, profesional, stakeholder, dan budaya etnis dalam proyek kontstruksi rancang bangun di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa faktor dan hubungan variabel dengan metode Structural Equation Modeling SEM . Hasil dari penelitian didapatkan rentang batas geografis dan budaya etnis berpengaruh secara signifikan pada kinerja kolaborasi.

Collaboration between stakeholders in the project life cycle is critical to improving design and build construction project performance. The purpose of this research is to identify the critical success factors of collaboration of design and build construction project team so that can be understand the influence of collaboration model to collaboration performance with the geographic, professional, stakeholder, and ethnic cultural boundary spanners in design and build construction project in Indonesia. This research uses factor analysis and variable relation with Structural Equation Modeling SEM method. The results of the research obtained geographical and ethnical boundaries significantly influence the collaboration performance."

"Science is a matter of both content and process. Hance, during teaching session these two aspects be developed simultaneously. In connection with this issue, inquiry approach is believed as relevant and effective strategy to be employed in both aspects (content and process) during teaching science session. However, this approach is not familiar among educational communities yet since they are still unable to formulate productive question. This due to their belief that productive question is needed to be applied only at the beginning of the approach. Earlier research conducted by the same researcher showed that the ability of elementary school - teacher in guiding student to deliver productive question was still very poor. So, this research aimed to enhance the ability by using inquiry approach. data analysis showed that the use of multimedia kit question word and example of productive question were still not able to improve their ability. Results showed that an increasing in the average number of productive question had proven as not increasing significantly. An improvement of strategy by applying inquiry approach in science-based teaching is recommende."

"Pembelajaran daring menjadi alternatif pembelajaran karena untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pendidikan yang terkendala oleh jarak maupun alasan efisiensi waktu. Selain itu pembelajaran kolaboratif semakin banyak dikembangkan sejak munculnya paradigma pembelajaran konstruktivisme. Teori konstruktivisme menyatakan bahwa pengalaman belajar dan interpretasi pengetahuan yang didapat sebelumnya menjadi konstruksi pengetahuan mendalam. Teori konstruksivisme sosial menyatakan bahwa pembelajaran terjadi melalui interaksi sosial yang kemudian diinternalisasi. Berdasarkan teori dan bentuk pembelajaran tersebut, pembelajaran kolaboratif daring menjadi alternatif model pembelajaran yang terus dikembangkan dengan menumbuhkan kesadaran metakognitif. Secara empirik pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan aspek metakognitif telah banyak dilakukan di Indonesia, bahkan kurikulum nasional pun menjadikan metakognisi menjadi salah satu tujuan pembelajaran. Kemampuan metakognitif peserta didik biasanya dinilai pada saat proses pembelajaran menggunakan think aloud atau setelah pembelajaran dengan menggunakan wawancara maupun kuesioner. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengestimasi kemampuan metakognitif dengan menilai aktivitasnya menggunakan persepsi help-seeking sebelum proses pembelajaran. Kegiatan yang bersifat estimasi membutuhkan model. Model metakognitif ini berfungsi untuk mengestimasi kemampuan metakognitif.
Kebutuhan help-seeking tidak hanya kebutuhan kognitif tetapi juga kebutuhan sosial untuk berkomunikasi dan berbagi dalam problem solving. Aktivitas help-seeking biasanya tergantung dari persepsi awalnya. Pertanyaannya adalah bagaimana persepsi help-seeking berkorelasi dengan aktivitas metakognitif. Kemudian jika peserta didik mendapatkan perlakuan tertentu dalam pembelajaran, apakah memungkinkan adanya peningkatan aktivitas help-seeking dan metakognitif serta hasil belajar. Sejauh mana perlakuan tambahan atau intervensi metakognitif terhadap proses pembelajaran akan meningkatkan efektivitas pembelajaran. Penelitian disertasi ini bertujuan untuk menjawab dan memberikan gambaran mengenai hubungan kedua faktor tersebut dengan membandingkan antara pra dan pasca intervensi sehingga gambaran tersebut dapat memprediksi aktivitas metakognitif dan frekuensi help-seeking berdasarkan persepsi help-seeking. Oleh sebab itu, model metakognitif dan help-seeking diperlukan untuk memenuhi tujuan tersebut.
Data tentang persepsi help-seeking diperoleh melalui kuesioner. Data tentang aktivitas metakognitif dan frekuensi help-seeking juga diperoleh melalui kuesioner setelah responden diberikan tugas problem solving. Adapun data hasil pembelajaran didapat dari nilai hasil pekerjaan problem solving. Kedua data yang diperoleh melalui kuesioner memberikan hasil yang sangat beragam, oleh karena itu dilakukan proses klasterisasi untuk mengetahui tipe kecenderungannya. Korelasi data persepsi help-seeking dengan aktivitas metakognitif dan frekuensi help-seeking dapat diketahui dengan cara menghubungkan kedua data tersebut pada setiap responden. Hal ini juga dilakukan pada pasca intervensi, sehingga perubahan signifikan setelah diberikan intervensi dapat diketahui.
Korelasi antara persepsi help-seeking dengan aktivitas metakognitif dan frekuensi help-seeking didapatkan dengan mengetahui hubungan masing-masing tipenya. Tipe persepsi help-seeking instrumental dan perceived benefit berkorelasi positif dengan aktivitas metakognitif individu maupun kelompok dan sebaliknya tipe persepsi help-seeking avoidance dan executive berkorelasi negatif. Dari semua tipe persepsi help-seeking hanya memberikan sedikit perubahan pada frekuensi non-human help-seeking dan tidak memberikan perubahan pada frekuensi human help-seeking. Namun setelah diberikan perlakuan intervensi, terjadi perubahan signifikan pada metakognitif individu dan kelompok maupun frekuensi non-human help-seeking tetapi tidak terjadi pada human help-seeking. Model matematis mengenai input berupa persepsi dan output berupa aktivitas metakognitif dan frekuensi help-seeking, dapat memberikan gambaran tentang korelasi persepsi help-seeking terhadap aktivitas metakognitif dan frekuensi help-seeking pada pra intervensi maupun pasca intervensi sehingga pemodelan tersebut dapat menjadi perangkat estimasi aktivitas metakognitif berdasarkan persepsi help-seeking.

Online learning is an alternative learning because it is to meet educational needs which are constrained by distance and time efficiency reasons. In addition, collaborative learning has been increasingly developed since the emergence of the constructivism learning paradigm. Constructivism theory states that learning experiences and interpretations of previously acquired knowledge become in-depth knowledge constructs. Social constructivism theory states that learning occurs through social interaction which is then internalized. Based on these theories and forms of learning, online collaborative learning is an alternative learning model that continues to be developed by cultivating metacognitive awareness. Empirically learning by utilizing metacognitive aspects has been widely carried out in Indonesia, even the national curriculum has made metacognition one of the learning objectives. Students' metacognitive abilities are usually assessed during the learning process using think aloud or after learning using interviews or questionnaires. This study aims to estimate metacognitive abilities by assessing their activities using help-seeking perceptions prior to the learning process. Estimating activities require a model. This metacognitive model serves to estimate metacognitive abilities.
Help-seeking needs are not only cognitive needs but also social needs to communicate and share in problem solving. Help-seeking activities usually depend on initial perception. The question is how the perception of help-seeking correlates with metacognitive activity. Then if students get certain treatment in learning, is it possible to increase help-seeking and metacognitive activities and learning outcomes. The extent to which additional treatment or metacognitive intervention in the learning process will increase the effectiveness of learning. This dissertation research aims to answer and provide an overview of the relationship between the two factors by comparing pre- and post-intervention so that this description can predict metacognitive activity and help-seeking frequency based on help-seeking perceptions. Therefore, metacognitive and help-seeking models are needed to fulfill these goals.
Data on help-seeking perceptions were obtained through a questionnaire. Data on metacognitive activity and frequency of help-seeking were also obtained through questionnaires after the respondents were given problem solving assignments. The learning outcome data is obtained from the value of problem solving work results. The two data obtained through questionnaires gave very diverse results, therefore a clustering process was carried out to find out the type of trend. The correlation between help-seeking perception data and metacognitive activity and help-seeking frequency can be identified by correlating the two data for each respondent. This was also done post-intervention, so that significant changes after the intervention were given can be identified.
The correlation between perceptions of help-seeking and metacognitive activity and frequency of help-seeking is obtained by knowing the relationship between each type. Types of perceptions of instrumental help-seeking and perceived benefits are positively correlated with individual and group metacognitive activities and conversely types of perceptions of help-seeking avoidance and executive are negatively correlated. Of all the types of help-seeking perception, it only gives a slight change in the non-human help-seeking frequency and does not give a change in the human help-seeking frequency. However, after being given the intervention treatment, significant changes in individual and group metacognitive as well as the frequency of non-human help-seeking did not occur in human help-seeking. The mathematical model regarding input in the form of perception and output in the form of metacognitive activity and help-seeking frequency, can provide an overview of the correlation of help-seeking perceptions of metacognitive activity and help-seeking frequency in pre-intervention and post-intervention so that the modeling can be an estimation tool for metacognitive activity based on help-seeking perception.
