This paper try to examines the role of government expenditure on economic growth in Indonesia from the period of 1972 - 1997. In that period, indonesia and several countries in the region are known as the extraordinary countries in growth achievement. This paper use framework that economy consist of two sector, government and private, where government sector yield externality to private sector to improve economic growth. By using time series data of Indonesia, I found that private investment has positive and significant influence on economic growth. Meanwhile, government investment does not show significant sign. Government size has negative effect and government sector has lower productivity compare to private sector. Private sector comes as an engine for economic growth which contimi the pro market point ofview. The same outcome was also found in panel data estimation using 4 ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand and Philippines). Government growth also yields positive externality effect on private sector and private sector as the main source of economic growth."

ABSTRACT
For this research I want to investigate about how online videos from YouTube page Khan Academy in the subject of math and science can help high school students to be more engaged and understand the subject better compared to only learning in class. Math and science are known to have questions that are based on problem solving, which requires step by step procedures to solve it. Hence the existence of online education such as Khan Academy on YouTube that aims to help the student to refer to the topic that students want to examine. Since Khan rsquo s YouTube page is free and accessible from anywhere, it gives flexibility for the students to study at their own pace and since it rsquo s a video, they can rewind it as much as they like. This research will be based on a questioners spread through high school student rsquo s ages ranging from 16 17 years. I will also conduct an Ethnomethodology observation through Khan rsquo s video about problem solving on the comments to see the engagement of the people towards the content of the video. "

"Economists have talked about government expenditure and its relation to poverty, health, and education for decades. Indeed, many theories and empirical evidence have been conducted since then. This study evaluates the relationship between Special Autonomy Fund (SAF) and poverty, health, and education indicators in Aceh province, Indonesia, using a panel dataset of 30 regions in the 2002-2018 period. Synthetic Control Method (SCM) is used as the model to accommodate the allocation of SAF to Aceh given by the central government since it is commonly applied to the cases of policy intervention in comparative case studies. This paper discovers that the SAF plays a vital role in lowering the poverty rate, escalating access to safe sanitation, and improving the net enrollment ratio of senior secondary schools. However, there is no prominent association between SAF allocation and access to safe water. This outcome variable shows positive and negative signs; therefore, a conclusion could not be provided."

"The function of scientific research is promoting the understanding of the world around us. In theory, anyway, the more we learn, the more potential we have of making our lives better. Thus, we have seen research in electronics provide us with computers, research in chemistry provide us with all manner of synthetics, and research in agriculture provide us with more food. Periodically, scientific research uncovers something that makes some of us uncomfortable. The discovery of the link between smoking and lung cancer and heart disease was not received well by the tobacco industry, and the link between global climate change and fossil fuel use has not been well received by the petroleum industry, to cite just two examples. Usually the response of those whose world has been disrupted by science is denial, often followed by attack on or ridicule of the science that has challenged them. In the long term, however, science usually turns out to be correct."

"Do indigenous peoples find the law to be an impediment or an asset in achieving selfgovernment? Past literature on indigenous legal mobilization often suggests that legal procedures and language constrain indigenous expression and may even lead to tribal divisions. For indigenous self-government movements, the law is often viewed as a hindrance. However, these studies often do not consider how the legal consciousness of activists changes during the mobilization process, particularly how interactions
with the law can reshape individual and collective subjectivities, as well as the relationships between tribes and the state. Researchers have discussed the judicial role as a legislative lever and its constitutive function, but they have not adequately
explained the key mechanisms to challenge unequal power structures. This article, using the Katratripulr Solar Case as a case study, elucidates indigenous legal mobilization strategies that surpass existing academic findings. The breakthrough lies
in the exercise of the right to consultation and consent, through which indigenous people and tribes construct a collective subject position that allows for engagement with modern law, thereby showcasing indigenous agency. This article delineates three subject concepts and one subject practice: the strategic subject that reins in moral disputes, the overlapping jurisdiction subject for self-built autonomy, the transboundary subject beyond state administration, and the political subject practicing these three subject concepts. The construction of these subject agencies helps indigenous people and tribes “reposition” the starting point (the self), destination (self-government), and route (practice) of self-government. Although Taiwan has yet to pass any indigenous self-government legislation, if indigenous people or tribes can return to the collective subject expressions internally and externally as described above, it will facilitate turning legal impediments into assets and promote indigenous self-government."
