"Gula merah merupakan produk olahan nira kelapa. Kabupaten Tasikmalaya merupakan kebupaten penghasil gula merah di Jawa Barat. Peluang pasar gula semut di Tasikmalaya belum diimbangi kemampuan pelaku usaha gula semut sekitarnya yang merupakan usaha berskala IKM. Promosi masih terbatas mulut ke mulut, variasi produk terbatas, motivasi pengembangan usaha yang rendah sekedar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan sehari-hari sehingga usaha berskala IKM tidak dapat mengembangkan usahanya. Harga penjualan rendah karena dikuasai oleh tengkulak yang melakukan penadahan terhadap produk industri gula semut. Berdasarkan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kedua mitra, solusi yang ditawarkan: Membuat mesin pengolahan berskala IKM untuk meningkatkan mutu produk gula semut itu sendiri, penerapan teknologi pengembangan mesin pengolahan gula semut skala IKM menjadi produk tepat guna sehingga meningkatkan pelaku usaha gula semut di Kabupaten Tasikmalaya. Pembuatan alat disesuaikan kebutuhan mitra, dan diujicobakan pada salah dua mitra yaitu Amis Budi dan Penyadap bagja yang berlokasi di Kp.Gunung Pendeuy, Kel.Sukamenak Kec.Purbaratu Kota Tasikmalaya. Kegiatan dilakukan melalui sosialisasi dan pelatihan. Antusias warga penggiat gula semut pada saat tim melakukan sosialisasi dan pelatihan terlihat sangat antusias. Kemampuan mitra dan masyarakat penggiat semut terkait penggunaan teknologi pengolahan gula semut semakin meningkat dan kegiatan pembuatan gula semut menjadi lebih ringan dari segi waktu dan tenaga."

"Penelitian ini membahas tentang peran perpustakaan sekolah dalam menunjang kegiatan belajar-mengajar di Semut-Semut The Natural School. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah peran perpustakaan dalam menunjang proses pembelajaran di perpustakaan Semut-Semut The Natural School masih dalam tahap awal dimana perpustakaan hanya sebagai pusat sumber belajar, pusat kegiatan membaca dan pusat kegiatan literasi informasi. Saran dari peneliti untuk pengembangan perpustakaan Semut-Semut The Natural School adalah menambah koleksi perpustakaan, memperluas ruangan perpustakaan, menyediakan fasilitas penunjang seperti ruang diskusi dan meja belajar, meningkatkan kerja sama dan perhatian dari berbagai pihak, dan menyediakan dana yang cukup untuk keperluan perpustakaan.

The thesis discusses about the role of the school library in supporting teaching and learning activities at Semut-Semut The Natural School. This research uses qualitative approach and case study method. The conclusion is the Semut-Semut The Natural School’s library is still in the early phase in supporting the learning activities where library only as a center of learning source, a center of reading, and a center of literacy information activities. Suggestion from the writer to develop the Semut-Semut The Natural School is adding the library collection, expanding the library room, providing ancillary facilities such as disscussion room and learning table, building cooperation of various people and providing sufficient funds for library needed."

"Penelitian ini mengenai peran guru pembimbing khusus (GPK) dalam mengembangkan interaksi sosial anak autis di Sekolah Inklusi yang dibahas dari disipilin ilmu kesejahteraan sosial. Umumnya, anak autis memiliki kesulitan untuk melakukan interaksi sosial. Beberapa penelitian terdahulu mengemukakan bahwa interaksi sosial penting untuk dikembangkan pada anak berkebutuhan khusus, khususnya pada anak autis. GPK merupakan salah satu significant other yang membersamai perkembangan anak autis di sekolah. Lebih lanjut, GPK memiliki peran signifikan dalam mengembangkan pola interaksi sosial anak autis, khususnya di sekolah inklusi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran GPK dalam mengembangkan pola interaksi anak autis di suatu sekolah inklusi yaitu Sekolah Semut-Semut The Natural School. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Data penelitian didapatkan melalui depth interview bersama 5 narasumber di Sekolah Semut-Semut The Natural School, yaitu 3 GPK, 1 guru kelas, dan 1 guru bidang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa GPK memiliki peran penting dalam mengembangkan interaksi sosial. Peran yang diberikan oleh GPK adalah membimbing anak autis dengan antusias, meningkatkan kepercayaan diri anak autis di sekolah, membimbing dalam kegiatan serta mengingatkan jika salah, sehingga anak autis dapat berinteraksi dan dapat mengikuti pembelajaran menjadi lebih baik. Selain itu, GPK juga melakukan penyelarasan murid autis dengan murid regular di sekolah dengan cara memotivasi anak autis untuk aktif berinteraksi, memberikan edukasi untuk menerima semua teman, melakukan penanganan jika anak tantrum.

This study discusses the role of special guidance teachers (GPK) in developing autistic children's social interactions in the School of Inclusion discussed from the discipline of social welfare. Generally, autistic children have difficulty in social interaction. Some previous studies suggested that social interaction is important for development in children with special needs, especially in autistic children. The GPK is one of the significant others that brings together the development of autistic children in schools. Furthermore, GPK has a significant role in developing patterns of autistic children's social interaction, especially in inclusion schools. The study aims to describe the role of GPK in developing patterns of autistic child interaction in an inclusion school, the Ant-Semut School of The Natural School. This study uses a qualitative approach and a descriptive research type. The research data were obtained through a depth interview with 5 sources at Ant-Semut School The Natural School, namely 3 GPK, 1 class teacher, and 1 field teacher. The results of this study show that GPK plays an important role in developing social interactions. The role given by the GPK is to guide autistic children enthusiastically, increase the confidence of autistic children in school, guide in activities and remind them that they are wrong, so that autistic children can interact and be able to follow learning for the better. In addition, the GPK also harmonizes autistic students with regular students at school by motivating autistic children to actively interact, providing education to accept all friends, handling if children are tantrums."

"Medicinal plants, called "Sarang Semut", myrmecodia pendens Merr. & Perry (Rubiaceae) is an epiphyt traditionally used in Papua for healing various diseases such as hyperuricemia, reumathic, and cancer. A chemical compound recognized as xanthinoxidase inhibitor has been isolated from n-buthanol fraction of the palnt extrac. The isolation was carried out by column chromatography (Sio,CHCL - MeOH = 5 : 1-1 : ) and the purification was conducted using high presure liquid chromatography (RP,C - 18 ; MeOH - = 5 : 1)). The activity test for xanthinoxidase inhibitor was performmed by using modified Noro method. The pure compound showed xanthinoxidase inhibitor activity of IC at 79,77%"

"Tumbuhan obat Indonesia, sarang semut (Myrmecodia pendens) telah terbukti secara empiris mampu menyembuhkan berbagai macam penyakit termasuk kanker. Pada penelitian ini, dilakukan isolasi senyawa antikanker dari hipokotil tumbuhan sarang semut menggunakan beberapa jenis pelarut dan menentukan struktur molekul senyawa aktif. Uji toksisitas dilakukan dengan metode brine shrimp lethality test (BSLT) dan uji in vitro antikanker dengan metode microscopic counting menggunakan sel HeLa (sel kanker leher rahim), sel MCM-B2 (sel kanker payudara), dan sel Leukemia L1210. Elusidasi struktur kimia dilakukan dengan metode spektroskopi (UV-VIS, FT-IR, dan RMI).Berdasarkan uji toksisitas dan uji in vitro terhadap sel HeLa, MCM-B2, dan Leukemia L1210 maka ekstrak yang paling aktif adalah ekstrak air (A). Pemisahan dan pemurnian ekstrak air (A) dengan kromatografi kolom dan kromatografi cair kinerja tinggi preparatif menghasilkan tiga isolat relatif murni masing-masing IA2, IA4, dan IA6. Hasil uji tiga isolat terhadap sel Leukemia L1210 menghasilkan IC50 IA2 = 1,88 μg/ml, IC50 IA4 = 1,45 μg/ml, dan IC50 IA6 = 2,04 μg/ml. Ketiga isolat mempunyai efek sitotoksik kuat. Berdasarkan data spektroskopi, isolat IA6 diduga senyawa turunan karbohidrat.

The Indonesian medicinal plant, sarang semut (Myrmecodia pendens), has proved empirically capable to healing various diseases, including cancer. In this research, compound isolation of anticancer agent was carried out from sarang semut plant hypocotyls by some type of solvent and to determine active compound molecule structure. Toxicity test was conducted using brine shrimp lethality test (BSLT) and in vitro test using microscopic counting method by means HeLa cells (cervix cancer cell), MCM-B2 cell (breast cancer cell), and Leukemia cell L1210. Elucidation of chemical structure conducted by spectroscopy methods (UV-VIS, FT- IR, and NMR).

According to toxicity and in vitro test on cells of HeLa, MCM-B2, dan Leukemia L1210, the most active extract is water extract (A). Separation and purification of water extract (A) by coloum chromatography and preparative high performance liquid chromatography has produce three relative pure isolates namely IA2, IA4, and IA6. The test result on the three isolates on Leukemia L1210 cell produce IC50 IA2 = 1,88 μg/ml, IC50 IA4 = 1,45 μg/ml, and IC50 IA6 = 2,04 μg/ml. The three isolates has strong cytotoxic effect. According to spectroscopy data, isolate IA6 indicate carbohydrate derivate compound."

"In this work, Myrmecodia pendans, or sarang semut, was successfully extracted as a potential organic inhibitor. Various concentrations of Myrmecodia pendans extract in 1 M H2SO4 solution were applied in the range of 100?500 mg/L for corrosion inhibition. Gas chromatography?mass spectroscopy (GC-MS) showed that the Myrmecodia pendans extracts contained a high-benzenediol compound with rich oxygen atom content, which played an important role in the inhibition process. The 300 mg/L Myrmecodia pendans extract had the highest effect, decreasing the rate of corrosion from 177.73 mpy to 47.4 mpy. This was attributed to the chemical compounds present in the Myrmecodia pendans extract on the surface of mild steel, which prohibited the corrosion rate"
