"Eating disorders merupakan suatu jenis penyakit mental dan fisik yang serius dimana penderitanya mengalami gangguan perilaku makan yang parah dan bisa berakibat fatal, seperti meningkatkan risiko melahirkan bayi BBLR, pendarahan selama kehamilan, hipertensi, aborsi spontan, kelahiran prematur, hingga kematian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan paparan K-Pop, body image dan faktor lainnya terhadap risiko eating disorders pada remaja putri pnggemar K-Pop di DKI Jakarta Tahun 2022. Penelitian menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain studi cross sectional. Pengambilan data dilakukan secara daring dengan metode quota sampling melalui pengisian kuesioner online oleh responden (n=140). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan 92,1% responden memiliki risiko eating disorders. Hasil uji chi-square menunjukkan adanya hubungan yang signifikan antara paparan K-Pop (p value 0,042), body image (p value 0,027) dan tingkat stres (0,018) terhadap risiko eating disorders. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini, penulis menyarankan untuk dilakukan pembuatan media edukasi bagi remaja agar lebih bijak dalam bermedia sosial dan menyaring budaya asing yang diterima, serta meningkatkan kewaspadaan terhadap eating disorders.

Eating disorders are serious mental and physical illnesses in which sufferers experience severe eating disorders that can be fatal, such as increasing the risk of giving birth to a low birth weight baby, bleeding during pregnancy, hypertension, spontaneous abortion, premature birth, and even death. This study aims to determine the relationship between exposure to K-Pop, body image, and other factors on the risk of eating disorders in young female K-Pop fans in DKI Jakarta in 2022. The study used quantitative methods with a cross-sectional study design. Data collection was carried out online using the quota sampling method by filling out online questionnaires by respondents (n = 140). The results showed that 92.1% of respondents had a risk of eating disorders. The results of the chi-square test showed that there was a significant relationship between exposure to K-Pop (p-value 0.042), body image (p-value 0.027), and stress level (0.018) on the risk of eating disorders. Based on the results of this study, the authors suggest creating educational media for teenagers to be wiser in using social media and filtering foreign cultures that are accepted as well as increasing awareness about eating disorders."

"Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui peran mindful eating terhadap kecenderungan binge eating pada dewasa muda di masa pandemi COVID-19. Total partisipan pada penelitian ini berjumlah 118 partisipan dengan rentang usia dewasa muda, yaitu 19-40 tahun serta berdomisili dan berkewarganegaraan Indonesia. Pengukuran mindful eating menggunakan alat ukur Mindful Eating Questionnaire (MEQ) sedangkan kecenderungan binge eating diukur menggunakan Binge Eating Scale (BES). Kedua alat ukur tersebut sudah diadaptasi dan sudah pernah digunakan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa mindful eating memiliki peran yang signifikan terhadap kecenderungan binge eating (R2= 0.262; F(1,116) = 41.102, p < 0.05).

This study was conducted to determine the role of mindful eating on binge eating propensity in young adults during COVID-19 pandemic. The total participants in this study amounted to 118 participants with an age range of young adults (19-40 years), also domiciled and citizens of Indonesia. Mindful eating was measured using the Mindful Eating Questionnaire (MEQ) while binge eating propensity was measured using the Binge Eating Scale (BES). Both instruments have been adapted and have been used in Indonesian. The results of this study indicate that mindful eating has a significant role in binge eating propensity (R2 = 0.262; F(1.116) = 41.102, p < 0.05)."

"Picky eating atau perilaku pilih-pilih makanan merupakan suatu kondisi dimana anak menolak makan, atau mengalami kesulitan saat mengonsumsi makanan dan minuman. Prevalensi kejadian picky eating di Indonesia masih cukup besar, yakni sebanyak 45.5%. Anak dengan perilaku picky eating juga banyak ditemukan di kota-kota besar, salah satunya di Jakarta dengan prevalensi sebesar 33.6%. Kesulitan makan pada anak yang dibiarkan terjadi dalam jangka waktu yang lama, akan menimbulkan beberapa dampak negatif, seperti dehidrasi, ketidakseimbangan elektrolit, kekurangan vitamin, dan mineral, serta defisiensi zat gizi. Kecenderungan perilaku picky eating erat hubungannya dengan cara orang tua memberikan makan kepada anak, pola asuh, pengetahuan gizi, orang tua pendapatan, dan ketersediaan makanan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat hubungan dari beberapa faktor tersebut dengan perilaku picky eating, yang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan desain studi cross-sectional. Penelitian ini menggunakan data primer dari pengisian kuesioner secara daring yang melibatkan 127 responden yang merupakan ibu dari anak usia 2-5 tahun yang berdomisili di DKI Jakarta. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 27.6% anak usia 2-5 tahun di DKI Jakarta yang memiliki perilaku picky eating dan dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat adanya hubungan riwayat penerapan responsive feeding dengan perilaku picky eating (p-value = 0.016). Variabel lain yang berhubungan secara signifikan (p-value < 0.05) yakni pola asuh, pengetahuan gizi, dan ketersediaan makanan. Sementara itu, tidak ditemukan adanya hubungan yang signifikan (p-value > 0.05) antara pendapatan orang tua dengan perilaku picky eating. Dengan demikian, orang tua diharapkan dapat memperhatikan faktor-faktor tersebut untuk dapat mencegah dan mengatasi kejadian picky eating pada anak.

Picky eating or picky eating behavior is a condition where a child refuses to eat, or has difficulty consuming food and drink. The prevalence of picky eating in Indonesia is still quite large (45.5%). Children with picky eating behavior are also commonly found in big cities, one of which is in Jakarta, with a prevalence of 33.6%. Eating difficulties in children that are allowed to occur for a long time will cause several negative impacts, such as dehydration, electrolyte imbalance, vitamin and mineral deficiencies, and nutritional deficiencies. The tendency for picky eating behavior is closely related to the way parents feed their children, parenting patterns, nutritional knowledge, parents' income, and food availability. The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship between these factors and picky eating behavior, which was carried out using quantitative methods and a cross-sectional study design. This study uses primary data from filling out online questionnaires involving 127 respondents who are mothers of children aged 2-5 years who live in DKI Jakarta. The results showed that there are 27.6% of children aged 2-5 years in DKI Jakarta who have picky eating behavior and it can be concluded that there is a relationship between a history of implementing responsive feeding and picky eating behavior (p-value = 0.016). Other variables that were significantly related (p-value < 0.05) were parenting patterns, nutritional knowledge, and food availability. Meanwhile, there was no significant relationship (p-value > 0.05) between parents' income and picky eating behavior. Thus, parents are expected to pay attention to these factors to be able to prevent and overcome the incidence of picky eating in children"

"Intervensi yang dilakukan menggunakan Cognitive Behaviour Therapy dalam menangani selective eating problem pada anak laki~1aki berusia sembilan tahurt Tujuan intervensi adalah untuk mengidentiiikasi dan rnengubah distorsi kognitif anak tentang makanan sehingga anak diharapkan mampu menemukan makanan lain yang dapat dikonsumsi olehnya. Intervensi dilakukan dalam 15 sesi yang berlangsung dalam jangka walcu dna bulan. Sesi terbagi atas dua bagian, yaitu sesi intervensi kognitif untuk mengubah distorsi kognitif pada anak scrta scsi perilaku dimana anak berhadapan langsung dengan makanan dan mcngaplikasikan materi yang diclapatkan pada sesi kognitifi Setelah 15 sesi intervensi selesai dilakukan, terlihat bahwa anak dapat menemulcan dan memahami distorsi pikirannya tentang makanan sehingga akhimya anak mampu berpikir sccara Iebih seimbang. Kondisi tersebut akhimya berpengaruh terhadap perilakunya, yaitu anak bersedia mencoba makan dan menemukan satu jenis makanan yang dapat dikonsumsi sebagai menu makan siang atau makan malam. Beberapa saran yangdapat diberikan antara lain: orangtua sebaiknya tidak memaksa dan mengancam anak untuk makan. Orangtua juga pcrlu lebih bersabar dan membedkan pujian untuk setiap perlgembangan positif serta berdiskusi bersama dengan anak dalam menentukan menu makan siang atau makan malam.

The intervention has been done using Cognitive Behavior Therapy to treat a 9 years old boy with selective eating problem. The objective of the intervention are to identify and change the child’s cognitive distortion about food so that he is expected to be able to find the other food he can consume. Intervention was implemented in 15 sessions during two months period. Sessions were divided into two segments, consisting of cognitive intervention session to change the child’s cognitive distortion and behavior session where he was directly faced with the food and applied the material given in cognitive session. After 15 sessions were done, it can be seen that the child can recognize and understand their cognitive distortion about food in such a way- that he can be able to think more proportionately. That condition on eventually affects his behavior, i.e., he is willing to try the food and find one type of food that can be'eaten as lunch or dinner menu. Some recommendations given include : parents should not force and threaten their child to eat. Parents also need to be more patient and give compliments for each of positive improvement, and also discuss together with their child to decide the lunch or dinner menu that the child desires."
