"Mobile number portability adalah suatu teknologi yang memungkinkan pengguna layanan seluler bcrpindah ke penycdia layanan seluler yang lain tanpa perlu mengganti nomer kontaknya. Mobile number portability merupakan salah satu cara untuk meningkatkan kompetisi antar penyedia layanan seluler yang diharapkan dapat memberikan dampak positif terhadap perkembangan telematika suatu negara. Ada berbagai solusi yang dapat dipilih untuk menerapkan mobile, number portability dalam suatu sistem seluler. Salah satu solusi yang tersedia untuk menerapkan mobile number portability dalam jaringan seluler GSM (Global System for Mobile Communication) adalah solusi signalling, relay. Pada skripsi ini akan diberikan analisis mengenai cara kerja solusi signalling relay dalam mendukung mobile number portability di jaringan GSM terutama layanan telefoni dan pesan singkat. Hasil yang didapatkan dari analisis adalah unit signalling relay dapat digunakan sebagai solusi mobile number portability karena kemampuannya memanipulasi pesan-pesan MAP dengan keuntungan mmurmya ubahan terhadap jaringan namun juga memiliki kenigian yaitu bertambahnya waktu pengolahan layanan dan implementasinya yang terbatas pada jaringan GSM saja."

"Tesis ini bertujuan memformulasikan strategi yang tepat dalam pemasaran produk mobile broadband SMART melalui analisis Porter 5 Forces dan SWOT. Potensi kompetitif SMART bersarkan Porter 5 Forces berada di level Medium. Hasil analisis SWOT menunjukkan posisi SMART pada Kuadran IV (Kekuatan - Ancaman) yang selanjutnya mengarahkan pada alternatif strategi stabilisasi dalam Grand Strategy. Dari sejumlah strategi berdasarkan Porter 5 Forces dan Grand Strategy, dilakukan pendekatan QSPM untuk menentukan suatu strategi unggulan dalam pemasaran produk mobile broadband SMART. Hasilnya adalah strategi tetap mempertahankan diferensiasi produk unlimited murni untuk memperkuat penetrasi pasar.

The focus of this study is to formulate the best strategy of product marketing of SMART mobile broadband through Porter 5 Forces and SWOT analysis. Porter 5 shows the medium level of SMART competitive potential. SWOT results the Quadrant IV of SMART position (Strenght - Threats) that continuing into stabilization strategy in Grand Strategy. Using QSPM approach, available strategies from Porter 5 Forces and Grand Strategy are processed to perform a best strategy of product marketing of SMART mobile broadband which is to keep the product differentiation strategy of unlimited mobile broadband in strengthening the market penetration."

"Interworking of Wireless LANs and Cellular Networks focuses on three aspects, namely access selection, call admission control and load sharing to investigate heterogeneous interworking for cellular/WLAN integrated networks. It not only reveals important observations but also offers useful tools for performance evaluation. The unique traffic and network characteristics are exploited to enhance interworking effectiveness. Theoretical analysis and simulation validation demonstrate benefits of cellular/WLAN interworking in real networks. ""Mobile Reservasi Taksi Berbasis Short Message Service" menjadi salah satu alternative sistem pelayanan reservasi jasa taksi, yang dirancang untuk memberikan kemudahan bagi pengguna jasa taksi dalam melakukan pemesanan. Pemesanan dapat dilakukan dilokasi manapun pemesan berada, seperti: di rumah, kantor, hotel/penginapan atau apartemen, sepanjang masih dalam cakupun wilayah/zona kega layanan armada taksi serta sinyal operator GSM yang digunakan. Pemesan cukup menuliskan pesan singkat dengan format yang telah ditentukan dan mengirimkannya ke nomor layanan mobile reservasi taksi.
Sistem "Mobile Reservasi Taksi Berbasis Short Message Service" terdiri atas sebuah PC (Personal Computer) dilengkapi dengan SQL Database Server yang terhubung pada sebuah terminal SMS (ponsel) dengan nomor dari salah satu operator telepon selular serta beberapa PC yang berfungsi sebagai PC Client, dan didukung oleh sebuah program/aplikasi (software) pengendali.
Pada Tugas Akhir kali ini dibuat sebuah sistem "Mobile Reservasi Taksi Berbasis Short Message Service", hubungan komunikasi antara PC Server dengan terminal SMS (ponseI), hubungan antara PC Server dengan PC Client, dan ditambah dengan pembuatan software pengendali dan database, Sehingga pada akhimya didapat sebuah sistem lengkap yang dapat menerima, membaca dan menyimpan SMS dalam database dengan cepat yaitu kurang dari 5 detik serta mengirimkan SMS jawaban ke pengguna layanan jasa taksi tanpa melakukan kerjasama khusus dengan pihak operator telepon selular."

"LAPOR! hadir sebagai bentuk keterlibatan masyarakat dalam pemerintahan. LAPOR! dengan unsur mobile government (m-government) di dalamnya, memiliki faktor adopsi yang perlu diidentifikasi untuk meningkatkan adopsinya di masyarakat. Penelitian ini memodelkan faktor adopsi m-government di Indonesia, dengan membandingkan beberapa model adopsi m-government yang sudah ada. Setelah itu dilakukan pengujian ke LAPOR! yang dianalisis dengan teknik SEM. Dari uji coba tersebut didapatkan faktor yang adopsi LAPOR! berbasis SMS yaitu perceived awareness, resource condition dan multi channel option. Adapun faktor adopsi LAPOR! berbasis aplikasi mobile adalah resource condition multi channel option, perceived image, government reputation, perceived information quality dan perceived functional benefit.

LAPOR! are provided as form of citizen involvement in government. With government (m-government) aspect inside, LAPOR! has adoption factors that needed to be know to encourage it?s adoption. This research try to develop model for adoption of m-government in Indonesia. Then test the model in LAPOR! case study which analyze with SEM technique. From that LAPOR! adoption factor is discovered as perceived awareness, resource condition and multi channel option as SMS based LAPOR! adoption factors. Also resource condition multi channel option, perceived image, government reputation, perceived information quality and perceived functional benefit as mobile application based LAPOR! adoption factors."
