"This book is the most comprehensive review of high-resolution schemes based on the principle of Flux-Corrected Transport (FCT). Book describe the development of the classical FCT methodology for convection-dominated transport problems, while the design philosophy behind modern FCT schemes is explained by S.T. Zalesak. The subsequent chapters present various improvements and generalizations proposed over the past three decades.
In this new edition, recent results are integrated into existing chapters in order to describe significant advances since the publication of the first edition. Also, 3 new chapters were added in order to cover the following topics, algebraic flux correction for finite elements, iterative and linearized FCT schemes, TVD-like flux limiters, acceleration of explicit and implicit solvers, mesh adaptation, failsafe limiting for systems of conservation laws, flux-corrected interpolation (remapping), positivity preservation in RANS turbulence models, and the use of FCT as an implicit subgrid scale model for large eddy simulations."

"Tesis ini membahas kritik terhadap terjemahan buku Mother Teresa: Come Be my Light dalam bahasa Indonesia.
This thesis presents a piece of criticism toward the Indonesian translation of Mother Teresa: Come Be my Light. The criticism is built on reference to and application of the Translation-Based Text Analysis, using the fulfillment of skopos as the main criterion to rate successful selection of translation strategies. First, analysis of extratextual as well as that of intratextual factors of both the source text (ST) and the target text (TT) was conducted at the initial step of this research. Then fulfillment of skopos was assessed by identifying translation strategies and measuring their success in helping to achieve skopos. The findings of this research indicate -among others- the gap between the receipients of the ST and those of the TT, toward which the dominantly used semantic translation method failed to minimize, resulting in the unfulfillment of skopos. Application of notes was not done optimally either, as translators/editors mainly only moved endnotes of ST to become footnotes of TT.It was concluded that translation was a multi-actor process involving many different interests and skopos could only be achieved should there be a good understanding and agreement among those actors done under the guidance of the translator as the expert in the intercultural communication. It is then recommended that a special translator?s note ?among others- should be complemented to this book to provide the non Catholic readers with basic knowledge about Catholicism which can make it easier for them to understand the book. Notes should also be rearranged and added ?whenever necessary- to upscale the readability of TT by its receipients."
