"Profesi apoteker merupakan salah satu bagian dari tim pelayanan kesehatan yang memiliki peran penting dalam bidang industri farmasi, rumah sakit, pelayanan, dan pemerintahan. Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan agar dapat menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Maka dari itu, seorang calon apoteker harus melakukan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker untuk menjadi apoteker yang profesional sebagai bekal agar memahami peran apoteker dan mendapatkan pengalaman yang diperlukan untuk memasuki dunia pekerjaan. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) kali ini dilaksanakan di PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals periode Januari – Februari 2022, Apotek Roxy Jakasampurna periode April 2022. Dengan dilaksanakannya Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di industri farmasi dan apotek, calon apoteker diharapakan untuk bisa menambah wawasan, pengalaman, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan gambaran mengenai pekerjaan yang akan dilakukan oleh seorang apoteker sehingga dapat menunjang untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian nantinya.

"Apoteker berperan penting dalam bidang kesehatan mulai dari pengembangan obat hingga pemantauan terapi obat pada pasien. Oleh karena itu, seorang apoteker dituntut untuk berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktek kefarmasian. Salah Satu bentuk partisipasi tersebut adalah dilakukan dengan diadakannya Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) yang dijalani oleh calon apoteker sebagai bekal dan pengalaman untuk memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia profesional. Melalui PKPA di apotek dan industri tersebut, calon apoteker diharapkan mampu memperoleh wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman untuk melakukan praktek kefarmasian.

Roxy Pondok Labu Pharmacy and PT PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals is one of the agencies that collaborate with the Pharmacist Professional Study Program, Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Indonesia so that prospective pharmacists can run PKPA in the period January - April 2022. Through PKPA in pharmacies and industries, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to gain insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to practice pharmacy."

Apoteker memiliki peran yang penting di beberapa instansi, seperti di Industri Farmasi dan Apotek. Seorang apoteker harus memenuhi standar kompetensi sebagai persyaratan untuk memasuki dunia kerja dan menjalai praktik profesi. Standar kompetensi apoteker Indonesia terdiri dari 10 standar kompetensi sebagai kemampuan yang diharapkan oleh apoteker saat lulus dan masuk ke tempat praktik kerja profesi. Indonesian pharmacist competency standards consist of 10 competency standards as the abilities expected by pharmacists when they graduate and enter professional work practices. "Praktik kerja profesi di Apotek Kimia Farma Periode Februari 2020 bertujuan untuk mengetahui tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker di Apotek dan menambah wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan praktik kefarmasian di Apotek. Selain itu peserta praktik kerja profesi juga mendapat gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan praktik kefarmasian serta mempelajari strategi dan kegiatan-kegiatan yang dapat dilakukan dalam rangka pengembangan praktik. Tugas khusus yang diberikan yaitu berjudul “Analisis Kepuasan Pelanggan di Apotek Kimia Farma No. 143 Periode Februari 2020”. Tujuan pengerjaan tugas khusus ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dari segi fisik apotek dan produk yang disediakan di apotek Kimia Farma No. 143 dan untuk mengetahui keseluruhan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan dari petugas dan pelayanan yang diberikan di apotek Kimia Farma No. 143. Secara umum, kepuasan pelanggan Apotek Kimia Farma No. 143 menunjukkan kategori puas dengan nilai kepuasan pelanggan secara keseluruhan yaitu sebesar 4,572 dari nilai maksimal 5. Penulis telah mendapatkan kemampuan untuk memahami peran, tugas, wawasan dan tanggung jawab apoteker dan memberikan solusi pada permasalahan di apotek. Praktik kerja profesi di PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals periode Juli – Agustus 2020 bertujuan untuk mengetahui tugas dan tanggung jawab apoteker di industri farmasi dan memahami penerapan Cara Pembuatan Obat yang Baik (CPOB) di Industi Farmasi. Selain itu peserta praktik kerja profesi juga dapat memiliki gambaran nyata tentang permasalahan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi, memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan, dan pengalaman praktis untuk melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian di industri farmasi. Tugas khusus yang diberikan yaitu berjudul “Improvement Proses Produksi Produk X di PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals Periode Juli – Agustus 2020”. Tujuan pelaksanaan tugas khusus ini adalah untuk mengetahui permasalahan dominan, penyebab permasalahan yang terjadi, dan juga menganalisis solusi yang dapat dilakukan untuk mengurangi atau menghilangkan permasalahan pada proses produksi produk X. Permasalahan dominan yang terjadi pada proses produksi produk X terjadi pada proses filling yaitu terkait dengan ukuran vial produk tidak sesuai dengan spesifikasi mesin, sehingga solusi yang dapat dilakukan adalah melakukan pada beberapa bagian mesin proses produk X. Secara umum, PT. CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals telah menerapkan aspek-aspek CPOB dengan baik dan benar, penulis juga telah mendapatkan kemampuan untuk memahami peran, tugas, wawasan dan tanggung jawab apoteker dan memberikan solusi pada permasalahan di industri farmasi.
