"Profesi apoteker merupakan studi lanjutan setelah mendapatkan gelar sarjana. Profesi apoteker memiliki peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian dalam segi administrasi ataupun pelayanan. Agar menjadi apoteker yang profesional maka dalam masa studinya diperlukan praktik kefarmasian langsung. Sehingga, sebagai calon apoteker akan memperoleh pengalaman praktik keprofesian sebelum terjun dalam dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Roxy Pitara periode Februari 2022 dan PT Kalbio Global Medika periode Maret – April 2022. Dengan melakukan praktik kerja di apotek dan industri calon apoteker diharapkan dapat memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan, keterampilan, wawasan, dan pengalaman soft skill ataupun hard skill yang sesuai untuk menjadi bekal dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian dikemudian hari. Selain itu dengan melakukan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker, calon apoteker dapat memahami peran menjadi apoteker yang profesional dan meningkatkan kompetensi.

In order to become a professional pharmacist, during the study period, direct pharmacy practice is required. Thus, as a pharmacist candidate will gain professional practice experience before entering the world of work. The Professional Practice of Pharmacist is held at Apotek Roxy Pitara for the period of February 2022 and PT Kalbio Global Medika for the period March – April 2022. Through the activities in the industry and pharmacy, prospective pharmacists are expected to gain knowledge, skills, insight, and experience in soft skills or hard skills to be a provision in carrying out pharmaceutical work in the future. In addition, by carrying out The Professional Practice of Pharmacist, prospective pharmacists can understand the role of being a professional pharmacist and increase competence."

"Profesi Apoteker merupakan pendidikan yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan karir seorang apoteker. Sebelum mengaplikasikan keilmuan di bidang kefarmasian secara profesioanl, seorang apoteker perlu menempun pendidikan profesi untu mendapat gelar apoteker. Kegiatan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) merupakan salah satu kegiatan pada perkuliahan profesi apoteker yang bertujuan mengasah kemampuan praktik calon apoteker sebelum terjun langsung ke dunia kerja sebagai seorang apoteker yang profesional. Kegiatan PKPA ini dilaksanakan di Apotek Kimia Farma Pekapuran periode Januari 2022 dan PT. Kalbio Global Medika periode Maret – April 2022. Melalui kegiatan ini, penulis berharap ilmu yang didapatkan selama PKPA dapat menjadi bekal yang baik untuk menjadi seorang apoteker yang profesional, baik di pelayanan masyarakat maupun industry farmasi.

The pharmacist profession degree is a very important education in the career development of a pharmacist. Before applying knowledge in the field of pharmacy professionally, a pharmacist needs to undergo professional education to get a pharmacist degree. The Pharmacist Professional Practice Activity (PKPA) is one of the activities in the pharmacist profession curriculum which aims to hone the practice skills of prospective pharmacists before going directly into the world of work as a professional pharmacist. This PKPA activity was carried out at Kimia Farma Pekapuran Pharmacy for the January 2022 period and PT. Kalbio Global Medika for the period March – April 2022. Through this activity, the author hopes that the knowledge gained during PKPA can be a good provision to become a professional pharmacist, both in community service and the pharmaceutical industry."

"Pelaksanaan pekerjaan kefarmasian dilakukan oleh tenaga profesional, yaitu apoteker. Mengingat pentingnya peranan tersebut, maka calon apoteker perlu untuk membekali diri dengan pengetahuan dan pengalaman melalui Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA). Praktik kerja dilaksanakan di Apotek Roxy Sawangan dan industry PT. Guardian Pharmatama pada periode Januari hingga Juni 2022. "Implementasi keilmuan farmasi terutama pada bidang profesional harusdilaksanakan dimana pada hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan sebuahpraktik kerja lapangan. Seorang calon apoteker harus mengalami langsungpenerapan profesi apoteker di ranah profesional. Dalam hal ini, calon apotekerharus berpartisipasi langsung dalam penerapan pelayanan dan pekerjaankefarmasian. Praktik kerja lapangan bagi profesi apoteker dapat dilakukan diberbagai bidang, diantaranya adalah di rumah sakit, di apotek, di industri farmasi,di pemerintahan dan hukum, serta distribusi. Pada praktik kerja profesi kali inidilaksanakan di bidang industri dan apotek, yang berlokasi di PT. HarsenLaboratories periode Januari 2022 – Februari 2022 dan Apotek Roxy Sawanganperiode Maret 2022. Melalui pelaksanaan praktik kerja profesi apoteker ini, calonapoteker diharapkan untuk mampu memahami kompetensi yang diperlukan,memperoleh wawasan serta mampu mengimplementasikan praktik kerja di bidangkefarmasian.
