"Apoteker merupakan salah satu profesi yang berperan penting dalam pelayanan kesehatan. Apoteker memiliki tugas utama melakukan praktik kefarmasian yang didasari oleh standar pelayanan kefarmasian, meliputi pengelolaan sediaan farmasi dan pelayanan farmasi. Sebelum calon Apoteker dilantik, calon Apoteker diwajibkan untuk mengikuti Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA), yaitu program pelatihan yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pemahaman peran dan tanggung jawab Apoteker; memberi bekal wawasan, ilmu pengetahuan, dan keterampilan; serta mempersiapkan calon Apoteker terhadap dunia profesional. PKPA dilakukan di tiga tempat, yaitu di PT Kalbe Farma Tbk pada periode Januari – Februari 2022, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari pada periode April 2022, dan di Apotek Roxy Jagakarsa pada periode Mei 2022. Calon Apoteker yang telah mengikuti kegiatan PKPA diharapkan telah menguasai pemahaman terkait peran dan tanggung jawabnya; memahami wawasan, ilmu pengetahuan, serta keterampilan yang telah didapat; serta siap untuk menjadi Apoteker.

Pharmacists are one of the professions that play an important role in healthcare services. Pharmacists have the main role of carrying out pharmaceutical practices, including the management of pharmaceutical preparations and pharmaceutical care. Before being a professional pharmacist, aspiring pharmacists are required to take part in Apothecary Professional Practice, which is a training program that aims to improve understanding of pharmacists' roles and responsibilities; provide insights, knowledges, and skills; as well as preparing aspiring pharmacists for the professional world. It was carried out in three places, at PT Kalbe Farma Tbk on January – February 2022, at PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari on April 2022, and at Roxy Jagakarsa Pharmacy on May 2022. Aspiring pharmacists who have participated in PKPA are expected to possessed the related understanding roles and responsibilities; understand the insights, knowledge, and skills that have been obtained; and ready to become a pharmacist."

"Telah dilakukan Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) di PT Mahakam Beta Farma, Jakarta Timur yang berlangsung pada tanggal 3 Januari – 25 Februari 2022 dan di Apotek Roxy Biak, Jakarta Pusat yang berlangsung pada tanggal 9 – 31 Mei 2022. Kegiatan ini merupakan sarana penulis untuk mempelajari dan memahami tugas dan tanggung jawab seorang aporeker. Hal ini diharapkan dapat menjadi bekal penulis untuk melaksanakan peran apoteker di ranah professional serta dapat bermanfaat bagi diri sendiri, rekan sejawat, serta masyarakat. Kegiatan PKPA di PT Mahakam Beta Farma dan Apotek Roxy Biak meliputi tinjauan tugas managerial di bagian produksi sediaan solid industri farmasi, tugas farmasi klinis di apotek, serta tugas khusus baik di industri farmasi maupun apotek.

The Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) has been carried out at PT Mahakam Beta Farma, East Jakarta which took place on January 3 – February 25, 2022 and at the Roxy Biak Pharmacy, Central Jakarta which took place on May 9 – 31 2022. This activity is the author's means to learn and understand the duties and responsibilities of an apothecary. This is expected to be the author's provision to carry out the role of pharmacists in the professional realm and can be useful for themselves, colleagues, and society. PKPA activities at PT Mahakam Beta Farma and Roxy Biak Pharmacy include reviewing managerial duties in the solid dosage production section of the pharmaceutical industry, clinical pharmacy duties in pharmacies, as well as special tasks in both the pharmaceutical and pharmacy industries."

Salah satu hal penting yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi seorang apoteker profesional adalah berpartisipasi langsung dalam melakukan praktik kefarmasian. Through the activities in the pharmaceutical industry, distributor, and pharmacy, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to obtain appropriate insight, knowledge, skills, and experience to perform pharmaceutical practice. "Implementasi keilmuan farmasi terutama pada bidang profesional harusdilaksanakan dimana pada hal tersebut dapat dilakukan dengan melakukan sebuahpraktik kerja lapangan. Seorang calon apoteker harus mengalami langsungpenerapan profesi apoteker di ranah profesional. Dalam hal ini, calon apotekerharus berpartisipasi langsung dalam penerapan pelayanan dan pekerjaankefarmasian. Praktik kerja lapangan bagi profesi apoteker dapat dilakukan diberbagai bidang, diantaranya adalah di rumah sakit, di apotek, di industri farmasi,di pemerintahan dan hukum, serta distribusi. Pada praktik kerja profesi kali inidilaksanakan di bidang industri dan apotek, yang berlokasi di PT. Melalui pelaksanaan praktik kerja profesi apoteker ini, calonapoteker diharapkan untuk mampu memahami kompetensi yang diperlukan,memperoleh wawasan serta mampu mengimplementasikan praktik kerja di bidangkefarmasian.

future pharmacists are expected to be able to understand the competencies needed,

Dalam rangka peningkatan profesionalisme apoteker, baik calon apoteker maupun apoteker yang telah praktik, diperlukan pelatihan terstruktur yang dapat membangun pengetahuan, keterampilan serta sikap professional sebagai seorang apoteker yang berkualitas. Professional pharmacist education is a very important factor in an effort to meet the needs of professional pharmacists. Pharmacists, as one of the actors in health services, especially pharmaceutical services, must have reliable knowledge and skills, as well as ethical and moral integrity to support the realization of quality pharmaceutical services. In order to increase the professionalism of pharmacists, both prospective pharmacists and pharmacists who have built a career, structured training is needed that can be used for knowledge, skills, and professional attitudes as a qualified pharmacist. The structured training referred to in this document can be in the form of pharmacist work (PKPA) for prospective pharmacists. This time, the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice was held at PT Kalbio Global Medika for the January–February 2022 period and at Roxy Sawangan Pharmacy for the May 2022 period. Through the PKPA process in the pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy services, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to gain insight, knowledge, skills, and appropriate experience to perform pharmaceutical work."

Salah satu hal yang harus dilakukan untuk menjadi apoteker profesionaladalah berpartisipasi untuk mengikuti praktik kefarmasian. Untuk itu, calon apoteker diminta untuk menjalani praktik profesi untuk bekal memahami peran apoteker dan meningkatkan kompetensi sebelum memasuki dunia kerja. Praktik profesi ini dilakukan di Apotek Roxy pada bulan Maret 2022. Pada tugas khusus ini dibahas lebih lanjut mengenai analisis pelayanan informasi obat, konseling, dan catata pengobatan pasien geriatri. Pasien geriatri merupakan pasien yang membutuhkan perhatian khusus dalam penggunaan obat. Laporan khusus ini membahas perhatian khusus yang diberikan kepada pasien geriatri selama menjalani masa terapinya.

In this report, further discussion on analysis of drug information services, counseling, and treatment records for geriatric patients was discussed. Geriatric patients are patients who require special attention to use medicines. This report discusses the special attention paid to geriatric patients during their therapy."

"Apoteker merupakan profesi yang didapatkan seorang sarjana farmasi setelah lulus dari program pendidikan profesi apoteker dan lulus Ujian Kompetensi Apoteker Indonesia (UKAI). Seorang apoteker selanjutnya dapat berkarir di industri (obat, obat tradisional, kosmetik), pedagang besar farmasi (PBF), apotek, rumah sakit, puskemas, maupun klinik. Sebagai perbekalan calon apoteker untuk terjun ke dunia kerja kedepannya, dilaksanakan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) sebagai bagian dari kurikulum program studi profesi apoteker. PKPA dilaksanakan di PT Mahakam Beta Farma pada periode Januari – Februari 2022 ditempatkan di divisi Pemastian Mutu dan Apotek Roxy Pitara periode Mei 2022. Saat melaksanakan PKPA di PT Mahakam Beta Farma, calon apoteker berfokus pada bagian dokumentasi, terutama pembuatan Product Quality Review (PQR). Kemudian, saat melaksanakan PKPA di Apotek Roxy Pitara, calon apoteker belajar bagaimana melakukan pengelolaan sediaan farmasi, alat kesehatan, dan Bahan Medis Habis Pakai (BMHP) serta melakukan pelayanan farmasi klinik. Calon apoteker diharapkan dapat belajar dan mendapatkan pengalaman, pengetahuan, serta keterampilan yang dapat mendukung calon apoteker tersebut kedepannya lewat PKPA di industri dan apotek.

A pharmacist is a profession that is obtained by a pharmacy graduate after graduating from the pharmacist professional education program and passing the Indonesian Pharmacist Competency Examination (UKAI). A pharmacist can then have a career in industry (drugs, traditional medicines, cosmetics), pharmaceutical wholesalers (PBF), pharmacies, hospitals, health centers, and clinics. As provosion for prospective pharmacists to enter the world of work in the future, the Pharmacist Professional Work Practice (PKPA) is carried out as part of the pharmacist profession study program curriculum. PKPA was implemented at PT Mahakam Beta Farma in the period January – February 2022 placed in the Quality Assurance division and Roxy Pitara Pharmacy for the period May 2022. Prospective pharmacists focus on the documentation section, especially the manufacture of Product Quality Review (PQR) at PT Mahakam Beta Farma. Then, prospective pharmacists learn how to manage pharmaceutical preparations, medical devices, and Medical Consumables (BMHP) and perform clinical pharmacy services at Roxy Pitara Pharmacy. Prospective pharmacists are expected to learn and gain experience, knowledge, and skills that can support future pharmacists on their next journey through PKPA in industry and pharmacy."

"Praktik kefarmasian harus dapat diimplementasikan oleh seorang apoteker. Untuk dapat menjadi seorang apoteker yang kompeten, calon apoteker harus memiliki wawasan dan pemahaman yang baik terkait pekerjaan kefarmasian yang nantinya akan dilaksanakan. Wawasan dan pemahaman tersebut didapatkan dengan adanya pembelajaran secara teoritis dan praktis. Demi terwujudnya seorang apoteker yang profesional dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian, salah satu hal yang penting untuk dilakukan adalah berpartisipasi secara langsung dalam melakukan pelayanan dan pekerjaan kefarmasian pada institusi kefarmasian, seperti apotek, puskesmas, dan industri farmasi. Apotek, puskesmas, dan industri farmasi dapat menjadi wadah bagi seorang calon apoteker untuk dapat mengasah keterampilan kefarmasiaannya sehingga dapat diterapkan dalam dunia kerja nanti. Untuk itu, mahasiswa melakukan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker di Apotek Kimia Farma, Puskesmas Kecamatan Pancoran dan PT CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals. Dengan adanya kegiatan PKPA ini, mahasiswa mampu menambah wawasan, keterampilan, dan ilmu pengetahuan dalam melakukan praktik dan pekerjaan kefarmasian secara langsung di apotek.

The pharmacies, public health center, and pharmaceutical industry can be a place for prospective pharmacists to be able to hone their pharmacy skills so that they can be applied in the current world of work. For that, students do Internship at Apotek Kimia Farma, Pancoran public health center, and PT CKD OTTO Pharmaceuticals. With this internship, students are able to build insights, skills, and knowledge in pharmaceutical practice directly in pharmaceucitcal intitutions."
