The pharmacist plays a crucial role in maintaining public health. One of the important roles that must be executed in order to become a professional is to dive directly into the world of pharmacy. Hence, student undergoing pharmacist training is expected to conduct internship for the sake of understanding the role of pharmacist and to improve competency before finally engaging in the real world. The internship was done at PT Ethica Industri Farmasi from July – August 2021 and Apotek Roxy Poltangan on December 2021. Through the internship in pharmaceutical industry and pharmacy, future pharmacist is expected to gather the appropriate knowledge, skill and experience before working as professional"

"Seorang apoteker dituntut untuk memiliki wawasan, pengetahuan, keterampilan dan mengaplikasikan dan mengembangkan ilmunya secara profesional agar dapat mengatasi permasalahan-permasalahan yang ada di industri farmasi. Dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut, calon Apoteker perlu mendapatkan bekal pengetahuan dan pengalaman yang memadai yang salah satu caranya dapat diperoleh melalui kegiatan praktek kerja profesi di industri farmasi. Oleh karena itu, Universitas Indonesia bekerja sama dengan PT. Hexpharm Jaya untuk menyelenggarakan Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA). Kegiatan PKPA ini calon apoteker mendapatkan tugas untuk mengamati serta mempelajari langsung kegiatan yang dilasanakan pada PT. Hexpharm Jaya. Pelaksanaan praktek kerja berlangsung dari 01 November – 31 Desember 2021. Dalam pelaksanaan PKPA ini mahasiswa diberikan beberapa tugas khusus untuk mendalami dan mempelajari langsung kegiatan di PT. Hexpharm Jaya. Selain itu, Universitas Indonesia juga bekerja sama dengan Apotek Kasih untuk menyelenggarakan Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA). Kegiata PKPA ini calon apoteker mendapatkan tugas praktek kerja berlangsung dari 01 Juli - 31 Juli 2021. Dalam pelaksanaan PKPA ini mahasiswa diberikan beberapa tugas khusus untuk mendalami dan mempelajari langsung kegiatan pelayanan kefarmasian di Apotek

Praktek Kerja Profesi Apoteker (PKPA) bagi mahasiswa Apoteker bertujuan untuk membekali mahasiswa calon apoteker dengan pengetahuan dan kemampuan tentang peran, fungsi dan tanggung jawab apoteker. PKPA merupakan media yang sangat penting bagi mahasiswa profesi apoteker untuk menerapkan dan mengembangkan ilmu dalam melaksanakan pekerjaan kefarmasian. PKPA merupakan pelatihan yang sangat strategis bagi mahasiswa profesi apoteker untuk menjadi calon apoteker yang handal dimasa depan. Melalui Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker, diharapkan calon apoteker dapat memahami apa yang menjadi tugas dan tanggung jawabnya. Praktik kerja dilaksanakan dari September hingga Desember 2021. Through the Pharmacist Professional Internship, it is expected that prospective pharmacists can understand what their duties and responsibilities are. The Internship are carried out from September to December 2021. Interships are carried out at PT Takeda Indonesia for the September – October period, PT Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari for the November period, and the Roxy Pondok Labu Pharmacy for the December period, as an initial overview of the pharmacist's role in industry, distribution, and pharmaceutical care. In addition to learning directly from observing, prospective pharmacists are expected to be able to gain insight, knowledge, skills, and experience that are suitable for carrying out pharmaceutical work."

Dalam menjalankan tugas keprofesiannya, apoteker memiliki hak dan kewajiban yang harus dilaksanakan menurut peraturan perundang – undangan yang berlaku maupun kode etik profesi apoteker. Sebelum memasuki dunia kerja, calon apoteker melakukan praktik kerja profesi apoteker di Rumah Sakit Universitas Indonesia periode September- Oktober 2021, PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari periode November 2021, dan Apotek Roxy Jatibaru periode Desember 2021. Dengan harapan calon apoteker memiliki pengetahuan dan kemampuan yang lebih baik dalam melakukan praktik kerja kefarmasian.

Before entering the world of work, prospective pharmacists practice pharmacist profession at the University of Indonesia Hospital for the September-October 2021 period, PT. Anugerah Pharmindo Lestari for the November 2021 period, and the Roxy Jatibaru Pharmacy for the December 2021 period. "Kegiatan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apotek (PKPA) mengimplementasikan pekerjaan kefarmasian oleh apoteker baik di Industri Farmasi maupun Apotek dalam mewujudkan hak asasi manusia atas kesehatan, dua diantaranya adalah pemastian mutu produk yang diproduksi di industri farmasi dan pelaksanaan pelayanan farmasi klinik di apotek. PT Harsen Laboratories berkomitmen dalam pemastian mutu yang diproduksinya terhadap salah satu produknya berupa suplemen vitamin C dengan melakukan validasi metode analisis penetapan kadar berdasarkan USP 43 dengan spektrofotometri Uv-Vis. Parameter yang diuji mampu menunjukan validasi metode analisa penetapan kadar telah digunakan sesuai dengan tujuannya, berdasarkan parameter kesesuaian sistem (%RSD 0.06), spesifisitas (%interfensi 1.19), linearitas (r2 0.9973), akurasi (%recovery 100.01), keterulangan (%kadar 0.9), reprodusibilitas dengan perolehan RSD pada dua analis dan laboratorium, dan robustness (%RSD terhadap stabilitas larutan 1,4 ; %RSD terhadap panjang gelombang 0.2 dan %RSD terhadap penyimpanan 0.4%). Sementara itu, melalui Program Rujuk Balik (PRB), Apotek Kimia Farma Condet bekerja sama dengan BPJS Kesehatan untuk memberikan pelayanan pemberian obat pasien PRB., pertimbangan klinis, serta mempertimbangkan kerasionalan obat. Pada praktiknya, PRB sebagai anggota BPJS dengan riwayat penyakit kronis mendapatkan resep yang telah baik dari segi adminitratif, farmasetik maupun klinis. Peresepan obat terhadap pasien penyakit kronis cukup rasional, sehingga pasien mendapatkan obat yang tepat berdasarkan kebutuhan klinis dengan jangka waktu yang cukup.

Apotek and Pharmaceutical Industry which realizing human right to health, they are ensuring the quality of products what produced in the pharmaceutical industry and implementing clinical pharmacy services at Apotek. PT Harsen Laboratories is committed to ensuring the quality its product which is products in the form of vitamin C supplements, by validating the assay analysis method based on USP 43 with UV-Vis spectrophotometry. The parameters tested are able to show the validation of the assay analysis method has been used according to its purpose, based on system suitability parameters (%RSD 0.06), specificity (% interference 1.19), linearity (r2 0.9973), accuracy (% recovery 100.01), repeatability (% level 0.9), reproducibility with RSD gain in two analysts and a laboratory, and robustness (%RSD to solution stability 1.4; %RSD to wavelength 0.2 and %RSD to storage 0.4%). Meanwhile, through the Referral Back Program (PRB), Kimia Farma Condet Pharmacy collaborates with BPJS Health to provide drug delivery services for PRB patients. As a clinical pharmacy service, review of prescriptions and evaluation of drug use in chronic disease patients is carried out based on administrative, pharmaceutical, clinical considerations, and taking into account the rationale of drugs. In practice, PRB as a member of the BPJS with a history of chronic disease gets a prescription that is good from an administrative, pharmaceutical and clinical perspective. Prescribing drugs for chronic disease patients is quite rational, so that patients get the right drug based on clinical needs with a sufficient period of time."

Seorang apoteker harus mempunyai ilmu yang mendalam dan pengalaman kerja yang mumpuni agar dapat memberikan pelayanan kesehatan yang terbaik bagi pasien. Oleh karena itu, dalam upaya untuk membekali seorang apoteker, mahasiswa program studi apoteker diwajibkan untuk mengikuti Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker. Melalui kegiatan ini diharapkan para mahasiswa dapat mengenal lebih dalam mengenai peran dan tugas apoteker, serta dapat memberikan gambaran yang lebih jelas terkait dunia kerja kefarmasian. A pharmacist must have in-depth knowledge and qualified work experience in order to provide the best health services for patients. Therefore, in an effort to equip a pharmacist, Apothecary Professional Program's students are required to take the Apothecary Professional Work Practice. The goals of this activity are for students to comprehend more regarding the role and duties of pharmacists, and provide a clearer picture of the world of pharmaceutical work. Thus, the abilities and capabilities of apothecary students can be increased. As a student of the Apothecary Professional Program, the author had the opportunity to do the Apothecary Professional Work Practice at PT Takeda Indonesia for the period July – August 2021 and Apotek Kasih for the period September 2021. Through this opportunity, the author was given a special task regarding Product Quality Review and Workload Analysis."

"Visite apoteker merupakan salah satu standar pelayanan farmasi klinik di rumah sakit yang dilaksanakan sesuai dengan PMK tahun 2016, bertujuan untuk berkomunikasi dan memantau kondisi klinis pasien rawat inap secara langsung, memantau terapi obat, menyajikan informasi obat, dan memberikan rekomendasi terapi obat kepada dokter. Selain itu, apoteker juga melakukan pelayanan informasi obat yang diberikan secara langsung atau melalui video edukasi dan leaflet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah dengan melakukan visite kepada pasien ibu menyusui pasca operasi sesar dan membuat video edukasi penggunaan alat nebulizer, handihaler, dan mencuci hidung dengan NaCl 0,9%. Hasil penelitian ini terdapat penggunaan analgesik yang tidak tepat, sehingga bisa membahayakan pasien dan bayinya. Olehkarena itu, apoteker memberikan rekomendasi dan berdiskusi dengan dokter terkait analgesik yang aman untuk pasien. Selanjutnya, salah satu cara untuk menjamin mutu kehidupan pasien oleh apoteker di apotek adalah melakukan kajian pada resep polifarmasi. Resep polifarmasi merupakan resep yang dituliskan dengan 3 jenis obat atau lebih. Metode penelitian dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan data dilakukan secara retrospektif yaitu data yang berasal dari resep polifarmasi di Apotek Roxy Pitara. Hasil penelitian 28 resep polifarmasi, kajian administrasi dari aspek umur 55,57%, berat badan 14,29 %, jenis kelamin 92,86%, paraf dokter 78,57 %, dari kajian kesesuaian farmasetik nama obat, bentuk sediaan, kekuatan sediaan, jumlah obat, dan stabilitas obat pada resep lengkap 100%, dan kajian klinis terdapat 1 resep duplikasi (4,76%) dan 3 resep berinteraksi (14,28%) pada resep dengan 3 obat dari total 21 resep. Resep yang berisi 4 obat, terdapat 2 resep yang berinteraksi (40%) dari total 5 resep.

Visiting pharmacist is one of the clinical pharmacy service standards in hospitals which is carried out in accordance with the 2016 Permenkes RI, which aims to communicate and monitor the clinical condition of inpatients directly, monitor drug therapy, present drug information, and provide drug therapy recommendations to doctors. In addition, pharmacists also provide drug information services which are provided directly or through educational videos and leaflets. The method used in this study was to visit patients with breastfeeding patients after cesarean section and make educational videos on the use of a nebulizer, handihaler, and washing the nose with 0.9% NaCl. The results of this study indicate that the use of analgesics is not appropriate, so that it can harm the patient and her baby. Therefore, pharmacists provide recommendations and discuss with doctors regarding analgesics that are safe for patients. Furthermore, one way to ensure the quality of life of patients by pharmacists is to conduct a study on polypharmacy prescriptions. Polypharmacy prescriptions are prescriptions written with 3 or more types of drugs. The research method was carried out by collecting data retrospectively, namely data from polypharmacy prescriptions at Roxy Pitara Pharmacy. The results of the study were 28 polypharmacy prescriptions, in the administrative study from the aspect of age 55.57%, body weight 14.29%, gender 92.86%, doctor's initials 78.57%, from the study of pharmaceutical suitability of drug name, dosage form, dosage strength, number of drugs, and drug stability in 100% complete prescriptions, and in clinical studies there was 1 duplicate prescription (4.76%) and 3 interacting prescriptions (14.28%) in prescriptions with 3 drugs out of a total of 21 prescriptions. Prescriptions containing 4 drugs, there are 2 interacting prescriptions (40%) of the total 5 prescriptions."

"Profesi apoteker merupakan studi lanjutan setelah mendapatkan gelar sarjana. Profesi apoteker memiliki peran penting dalam pekerjaan kefarmasian dalam segi administrasi ataupun pelayanan. Agar menjadi apoteker yang profesional maka dalam masa studinya diperlukan praktik kefarmasian langsung. Sehingga, sebagai calon apoteker akan memperoleh pengalaman praktik keprofesian sebelum terjun dalam dunia kerja. Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker dilaksanakan di Apotek Roxy Pitara periode Februari 2022 dan PT Kalbio Global Medika periode Maret – April 2022. Dengan melakukan praktik kerja di apotek dan industri calon apoteker diharapkan dapat memperoleh ilmu pengetahuan, keterampilan, wawasan, dan pengalaman soft skill ataupun hard skill yang sesuai untuk menjadi bekal dalam melakukan pekerjaan kefarmasian dikemudian hari. Selain itu dengan melakukan Praktik Kerja Profesi Apoteker, calon apoteker dapat memahami peran menjadi apoteker yang profesional dan meningkatkan kompetensi.
