"Dengan mempertimbangkan inklusivitas perempuan dan perkembangan dari representasi keragaman budaya di media Barat, Walt Disney Animation Studio telah mempromosikan identitas Asia Tenggara dan emansipasi perempuan dalam waralaba Disney’s Princess. Dengan mayoritas penontonnya adalah perempuan dari generasi muda, Disney memiliki tuntutan untuk menyajikan keragaman dan kesetaraan gender di layar kaca (Giroux & Pollack, 2010). Berdasarkan survei yang dilakukan terhadap delapan siswi SMP swasta Malang, penelitian ini menggunakan film Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) sebagai sarana untuk mendiskusikan tujuan hidup perempuan Asia Tenggara di era modern yang melampaui standar stereotip patriarki. Menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan literasi kritis, survei dilakukan melalui esai jurnal dan pertemuan Zoom. Tulisan ini menganalisis tanggapan yang diberikan oleh para siswi setelah menonton film untuk mengetahui apakah film tersebut membantu untuk memahami penjelasan mengenai pandangan hidup dan cita-cita perempuan di Asia Tenggara dan apakah mahasiswa mampu bersikap kritis terhadap isu-isu terkait di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswa tidak hanya mampu mengidentifikasi isu-isu terkait dengan ambisi perempuan Asia Tenggara yang tergambar secara implisit dalam film, tetapi juga mampu membangkitkan ambisi dan soft skill dalam kehidupan pribadi mahasiswa dengan menganalisis secara kritis film tersebut, berbagi pengalaman dan cita-cita, serta menjelaskan cara untuk mencapainya meskipun adanya tantangan yang akan ditemui.

Taking women’s inclusivity and cultural diversity representation development in Western media into account, Walt Disney Animation Studio has promoted Southeast Asian identity and women emancipation in their Disney’s Princess franchise. With the majority of the audience of its franchise being the young female generation, Disney has been in demand to bring diversity and gender equality to the screen (Giroux & Pollack, 2010). Based on the survey conducted with eight Malang private middle school female students as respondents, the study utilized Raya and the Last Dragon (2021) as a tool to discuss the transcending patriarchal expectations of Southeast Asian women’s life purpose in the modern era. Using a qualitative research method with a critical literacy approach, the survey was conducted through journal essays and Zoom meetings. This paper analyzed the responses given by the students after they watched the film to find out whether the film helps to understand the explanations regarding women’s views of life and end goals in Southeast Asia and whether the students are able to be critical of these related issues in Indonesia. The finding showed that students were not only able to identify the issues related to Southeast Asian women’s life ambitions which have been portrayed implicitly in the film, but also to incite ambitions and soft skills in students’ personal life by critically analyzing the movie, sharing their future goals, and explaining the ways to achieve them despite the foreseeable challenges."

"Indonesia memeringkati peringkat ke-3 untuk AKI dan urutan ke-2 untuk AKB di Asia Tenggara. Namun persiapan masa prekonsepsi calon pengantin yang baik dapat mengurangi jumlah ini. Persiapan fisik merupakan bagian persiapan yang dilakukan calon pengantin dalam menyambut hari pernikahan dan kehidupan rumah tangga. Salah satu kegiatan persiapan adalah manajemen berat badan yang dapat dilakukan dengan aktifitas fisik. Proporsi penduduk kurang aktivitas fisik tertinggi berada di DKI Jakarta. Dukungan sosial dari keluarga atau teman dapat berpengaruh pada perilaku kesehatan seseorang. Penelitian ini mencari gambaran karakteristik calon pengantin serta hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan aktivitas fisik pada calon pengantin. Penelitian dilakukan dengan rancangan studi cross sectional, desain deskriptif korelatif, dan teknik pengambilan convenience sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kuesioner daring pada 239 calon pengantin di DKI Jakarta. Hasil analisis menunjukkan terdapat hubungan dukungan teman dengan aktivitas fisik calon pengantin (p-value=0.003). Sebagian besar calon pengantin memiliki dukungan keluarga dan teman yang cukup serta telah melakukan aktivitas fisik sesuai rekomendasi. Namun terdapat sebagian kecil calon pengantin yang memiliki berat badan lebih atau obesitas, mendapat dukungan sosial kurang, serta kurang aktivitas fisik. Disarankan kepada tenaga kesehatan khususnya perawat untuk melakukan berbagai intervensi keperawatan, seperti mempromosikan aktivitas fisik kepada teman kerja atau keluarga dengan calon pengantin untuk mempersiapkan dengan baik kondisi fisik calon pengantin sebelum menikah.

Indonesia ranks 3rd for MMR and 2nd for IMR in Southeast Asia. However, good preconception preparation of prospective bride and groom can reduce this number. Weight management as a part of premarital preparation by the couple in welcoming the wedding day as well as the life as spouses is usually done through physical activities or exercises. Meanwhile, it is found that the highest proportion of people or couple with failing rates of physical activity is found in Greater Jakarta. Social support from family or peers can affect one’s health behavior. This study attempted to analyze the characteristics of the prospective bride and groom as well as the relationship between social support and physical activity done by the prospects. This study was conducted with cross sectional study design, correlative descriptive design, and convenience sampling technique. Data were gathered through online questionnaire distributed to 239 prospective brides and grooms throughout Greater Jakarta. The analysis showed that there was a relationship between peer support and physical activity of the prospective bride and groom (p-value = 0.003). Most respondents had sufficient support from family and peer, and willingly carried out physical activities according to professionals’ recommendations. On the other hand, the results also found small proportion of prospective bride and groom who have insufficient social support and physical activity. It is recommended for health workers, especially nurses, to do various nursing interventions, such as promoting physical activity to peers or family with prospective brides and grooms to properly prepare the physical condition of prospects before marriage."

"Insiden cedera tertusuk jarum suntik CJS pada mahasiswa keperawatan masih tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan Model Pembelajaran berbasis Keselamatan MPbK untuk membentuk perilaku mencegah CJS mahasiswa keperawatan di wahana praktik. Desain penelitian ini adalah quasi experimental pre and post-test with control group. Penelitian terdiri dari dua tahapan yaitu penyusunan dan pengujian MPbK. Penyusunan MPbK dilakukan berdasarkan hasil systematic review dan focus group discussion pada 10 pembimbing klinik. Pengujian MPbK dilakukan pada 165 mahasiswa praktik profesi keperawatan dengan membandingkan perubahan pengetahuan, sikap, dan intensi perilaku. Responden dikelompokkan dalam 4 kelompok yaitu 26 mahasiswa mendapatkan MPbK 1 intervensi individu reedukasi pengingat harian, intervensi kelompok, dan organisasi ; 72 mahasiswa mendapat MPbK 2 intervensi individu reedukasi dan organisasi , 31 mahasiswa mendapat MPbK 3 intervensi kelompok dan organisasi , dan 36 mahasiswa tanpa intervensi. Intervensi individu meliputi reedukasi dan pengingat harian pencegahan CJS melalui pesan singkat teks dan video. Intervensi kelompok meliputi pengingat dan contoh peran dari pembimbing klinik yang telah dilatih pencegahan CJS. Intervensi organisasi meliputi kontrak program keselamatan dan penyediaan fasilitas penunjang pencegahan CJS. Penelitian tahap 1 menghasilkan MPbK yang diuji pada penelitian tahap 2. Hasil uji GLM-RM pada penelitian tahap 2 didapatkan bahwa pengetahuan dan sikap mencegah CJS dapat ditingkatkan secara signifikan menggunakan MPbK 1, 2, dan 3 p

Needle Stick Injury NSI incident in nursing student is constantly high. This research aimed to develop Safety based Learning Models MPbK in Indonesia to shape preventive behaviors of NSI among nursing students during clinical practices. Quasi experimental pre and post test design with control group was employed in this study. The study comprised two stages MPbK development and testing stages. The during the first stage, systematic reviews and a focus group discussion with 10 clinical instructors were conducted to generate MPbK. While, the testing stage was performed to measure the changes in students rsquo knowledge, attitudes, and intention before and after the implementation of MPbK. A sample of 165 nursing professional program students was selected for the second stage, dividing into 4 main groups 26 students participated in MPbK1 individual, group, and organizational interventions , 72 students participated in MPbK2 individual and organizational interventions , 31 students participated in MPbK3 group and organizational interventions , and 36 students received no interventions. Individual interventions comprised re education and daily reminders through short message and video. Group interventions included role model clinical instructors whereas organizational interventions were safety programs contract between the university and hospitals, along with the provision of appropriate infrastructure and facilities to promote safety. Results of GLM RM analysis demonstrated the use of MPbK1, 2, and 3 significantly increased the knowledge and atitudes of students p 0,001 , the intention of student behavior to prevent NSI can be increased, but not yet significan p 0,110 0,993 . NSI incidents can be reduced using MPbK1 zero incident . The study suggested nursing educational institutions, hospitals and nursing professional organizations to use MPbK as a reference to develop policies of NSI prevention."

"Tesis ini membahas penerapan model structured peer network sebagai alternatif penjangkauan peer education di kalangan siswa/i SMP dan SMA, dengan studi kasus Ripple Programme pada Program Jakarta Stop AIDS 2010. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif yang bersifat deskriptif, yaitu menggambarkan pelaksanaan program di wilayah Jakarta Timur. Penelitian menemukan bahwa model stuctured peer network mengalami hambatan berupa kesulitan dalam melakukan penjangkauan secara individu, hambatan dalam membentuk second layer, hambatan lingkungan, kurang dukungan dari pihak sekolah, dan kurang kesiapan manajemen program.

The study analyzes the implementation of Structured Peer Network Model as peer education approach for junior and senior high school students to disseminate knowledge and information about drug and HIV/AIDS prevention. The project is managed under Ripple Program of Jakarta Stop AIDS 2010. The study is a descriptive-qualitative research. The research shows that Structured Peer Network Model faces some obstacles that hinder the implementation of programme; including the un-effective individual outreach, contrains in formation of second layer, peer resistance, lack of support from the school, and quality of programme?s planning and preparation."

"Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis bagaimana konstruksi gender direpresentasikan dalam film animasi Disney Princess “Raya and the Last Dragon” melalui penokohan, adegan (scene) dan narasi (monolog atau dialog). Studi-studi terdahulu mengenai representasi perempuan pada film animasi Disney tentang “Princess” tahun 1950-1990-an menunjukkan masih kental stereotip gender berbasis konstruksi feminitas pada perempuan, dan maskulinitas pada laki-laki. Sementara pada kurun 2000an hingga akhir 2000an film film Disney menunjukkan konstruksi perempuan sebagai pemberontak dan ambisius. Seiring dengan wacana pergeseran konstruksi kepada pencairan gender di masyarakat, pertanyaannya apakah Disney juga mempresentasikannya dalam film filmnya? Melalui kajian terhadap film Disney bergenre princess, “Raya and The Last Dragon” (2021) akan digali apakah film tersebut sudah lebih progresif dalam merepresentasikan isu gender? Dalam arti, film tersebut mengkonstruksikan suatu gagasan tentang feminitas dan maskulinitas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif semiotika oleh Roland Barthes untuk menganalisis makna representasi dalam tanda/simbol. Teknik dokumentasi dilakukan dengan teknik screencapture sebagai pengumpulan data. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bagaimana adanya tiga representasi, antara lain: (1) Raya sebagai Pendekar Perempuan; (2) Raya sebagai PemimpinPerempuan; (3) Raya sebagai Perempuan Mandiri. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa perempuan direpresentasikan sebagai karakter yang maskulin, digambarkan dengan sifat tangguh, dominan, dan mandiri. Konstruksi gender tradisional yang cenderung stereotip kini bergeser ke arah yang lebih progresif.

This study aims to explore and reveal how gender construction is represented in the Disney Princess animated film "Raya and the Last Dragon" through characterizations, scenes and narratives (monologue or dialogue). Previous studies on the representation of women in Disney's animated film “Princess” in the 1950s-1990s show a strong gender stereotype based on the construction of femininity in women and masculinity in men. While Disney films in the early 2000s to the late 2000s showed the construction of women as rebellious and ambitious. Along with the discourse of shifting construction to gender disbursement in society, the question is how does Disney present it in its films? Through a study of the Disney princess film genre, “Raya and The Last Dragon” (2021), it will be explored whether the film is more progressive in representing gender issues and ideas about femininity and masculinity? The method used in this research is Roland Barthes' qualitative semiotics to analyze the meaning of representation in signs/symbols. Documentation technique with screen capture technique as data collection. The results of the study show how there are three representations, including: (1) Raya as a female warrior; (2) Raya as Female Leader; (3) Raya as an Independent Woman. The results of the study show that women are represented as masculine characters, described as tough, dominant, and independent. The traditional gender construction that tends to stereotype has shifted to a more progressive direction. "
